My husband and I came for magical dining and luckily I made reservations beforehand. The place was packed when we arrived and our wait would have probably been longer without the reservation. But -- the wait was worth it! The restaurant is elegant and has beautiful tall windows which make the place feel romantic and upscale. We also met the owner and head chef Victor who came by our table and said hi! He shared how his restaurant is a family business and that his family was there that night working the front and back of house. We also had the best busser, Jacob! You could tell he was working extremely hard on this busy night and still worked efficient and quickly clearing tables and greeting new tables and refilling our waters. Have never met a great busser before! Now the food - food was incredible! I loved every dish. The ribeye was the favorite. The char and flavor on it is elite!! And now sits in second place for our favorite ribeye steak in Central Florida. I would only say, the mashed potatoes could use a little more texture and flavor to really take this dish to the next level. Overall - SUPER DELICIOUS! We started with a few drinks..Pear Martini was surprisingly good..not as sweet as expected just right. For appetizers we got beef carpaccio and scallops. Scallops were on top of spinach with a mango sauce...cooked to perfection. The beef carpaccio was super fresh with enough capers, arugula and oil. Came with some crossing. The main dishes we ordered the sea bass special that came over cilantro risotto and tomato sauce. Rack of lamb was super generous and came with smashed potatoes and vegetables. Mediterranean seafood zuppa a fantastic combination of different shellfish including a whole lobster tail. Since it was my husband birthday, we top it off with a slice of their cheesecake. read more

First time coming to Figs, it's a fine dining hidden gem. Went with family since I'm from Out of state and visiting. It was pretty busy around 7pm on a Friday and It's def not a quiet restaurant but it was nice to see it busy and everyone enjoying themselves . Loved the ambiance. When entering the restaurant, you have 2 staff greeting you at the door, opening the door when entering and leaving. When we got to our table we had a birthday card on there " Wishing us a happy birthday. All of our dishes were very good. There is steak , chicken ,seafood. A little of everything. Our waitress was very good. The presentation and our birthday treats. If recommended making reservations as it gets pretty busy . I came here for the first time since the restaurant was part of Magical Dining Month. I started off with the goat cheese croquette which was good, I especially liked the figs that were served with them. My husband got the Caesar salad which was pretty standard. For our entrees, I got the shrimp and scallops served over grits and he got the filet. The presentation of my dish wasn't the prettiest, but it tasted really good. I found the grits to be really creamy and flavorful. My husband's filet was cooked exactly how he wanted. We both got the chocolate torte which was rich and a great way to end the meal. I really liked the raspberry sauce that came with it. Our server was really nice. I felt bad because he was running around since they were really busy and it looked like they didn't have a lot of servers. I was under the impression this would be a fine-dining experience. However, I've had better food at Applebee's. The food was very mid and massively overpriced for the execution. Never been to a steakhouse where the steak comes pre-cut. The risotto served with the sea bass was unseasoned and too heavy for the delicate sea bass. And no bread service? Went to Fig's for the first time on January 11. The food was very good, and the service was timely/responsive. My guests really enjoyed their meals. I ordered the following items: Appetizer - Mixed Green Salad Entree - Salmon with asparagus and tomatoes Dessert - Bourbon Fig Bread Pudding I also ordered beef empanadas and a tropical champagne and Arnold Palmer. Every morsel of the meal was wonderful. Full of flavor and each bite was enjoyable. Our waiter, Leo, provided great recommendations and checked in on us at every opportunity he could. Fig's is a reliable favorite of our family, especially for celebrations. The lighting is very cool. The floor to ceiling windows are awesome, especially at night when they reflect the lights. The curved booths are cozy. The fig old fashioned is unique, and the food is great. Be sure you're coming for a leisurely time, because it's a fine dining experience where they're going to do things one step at a time, and if you're ordering steaks it will take a while. Don't come in a hurry. My actual rating, if I could give it, is 4.5 stars because it's missing a solid mocktail menu (as of right now). read more

Fig's Prime is a break away from the Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and etc. Fig's Prime gives you more of Winter Park, Maitland quality restaurant but in Altamonte Springs. A group of us went two Figs restaurant this past Christmas Eve, 2025. Part of the group arrived early and the other part later. Five of us who arrived early requested that we eat our entrées as soon as we finished our appetizers because the other guest would be arriving later. As we were finishing our appetizers, the other part of our group arrived. The waiter took their order for appetizers and their main entrées. Even though we requested to eat early, since we are elderly, we were not served our main courses promptly, but had to wait until the others who arrived later were served their main entrées along with ours. All in all, the lobster bisque appetizer, which we were served, was cooler than lukewarm. They had to take three of them back to reheat them. The pork tenderloin, which was eventually served, was not tender at all but very hard to cut. It's called tenderloin for a reason, but I guess the chef didn't get the memo. This is the second time we've eaten at Figs and experienced tough pork tenderloin, but one person in our party decided to try it anyway. The manager was later called to the table, but she didn't really seem to have much sympathy for our situation or the condition of the food that was served. She offered free desserts, but it was too late. At that point a number of us had to leave the table for another engagement. There really isn't any excuse for cold soup and tough tenderloin. I must admit, though, the flatbread was excellent. I should also mention that the place is very very noisy and the tables are very close together, adding to the noise. read more

I've lived in Florida for almost 30 years and the first time I decide to try #MagicalDining I get hair in my mouth. I am still disgusted and can feel the hair on my tongue as I pulled it out of my mouth. It makes me sick to even think about it again. Server was aloof with her response about someone else's DNA in my mouth and her entire demeanor was off putting since she initially greeted me. She came over out of breath and in a RUSH. No greeting or salutation of any sort. I can understand and empathize if you're short staffed and rushed but at least greet me decently! I ordered a 'Lychee Martini' (it was happy hour but I could not order any happy hour drinks at the table, at the bar only) which was not included in 'Happy Hour', but it was good. However, I only got an opportunity to take a few sips. I ordered the goat cheese croquette and that is the plate with the HAIR. When I ordered this appetizer, I ordered the entree and dessert at the same time. I didn't even get an opportunity to GET to the entree or dessert. After eating someone else's hair, I was totally disgusted and asked to speak to a manager because I wanted to leave, IMMEDIATELY. Thankfully, she obliged and I left there as fast as I could. Now on to the reason for my rating. We were here for a birthday dinner. I've never been and saw they were a magical dining restaurant so I was excited to get the experience. That was fine and the food wasn't unreasonably priced but I was disappointed as I was looking forward to reviewing that experience. We ordered a few apps. Calamari and empanadas for the table. The calamari was pretty good but bland but it had a great sauce. The empanadas.... No bueno. For dinner my partner and I ordered a Caesar salad to start, the 20oz ribeye, and fed a lobster tail, and a side of Mac and cheese. I liked the caesar and I'm pretty picky about those. Unfortunately we would have to wait over an hour after apps to get our food. I'm not sure why they have the magical dining rule but this seemed like a great argument for why a party of 10 should be ordering off of your fixed menu. They blamed some of our party ordering medium well steaks which was funny but still wasn't a fun wait. That killed the experience for me. It was a Monday and it's magical dining. I can't imagine the wait on a weekend. The ribeye was cooked perfectly to med rare as it should be at a prime restaurant but it's often not. It was probably the best part of the meal. The mashed potatoes were there and the asparagus was good. The lobster tail was tiny for $27. Considering how reasonably priced the restaurant was that lobster tail was pretty sad and VERY salty. They brought out butter over a candle that was supposed to melt. It never did lol. For as long as we waited for our food that contraption could have been brought out during the wait and maybe it would have melted. Lastly the macaroni and cheese which feels disrespectful to call it but it was macaroni. And cheese. It was gross. The noodles were hard and not in the not quite al dente way but in the some of these are crunchy way. It was also just not good to me. It tasted like and looked like Alfredo sauce and not a good one. At our table overall most people felt very meh about their food. One person loved their pasta and that was about it. Overall it was ok. The food took way too long and did not satisfy when it arrived. I doubt I'll be back on my own but I'd come for dinner for an occasion everyone deserve a second chance. Oh yeah AND they didn't have bread and butter very disappointing. I forgot to add one of the most egregious parts of our experience. My partner ordered a green tea as a drink and he was charged for a double Jameson which was ridiculous. read more

The first time I visited this restaurant was during magical dining and the food was amazing. We had reservations. So much so that in February we took our daughters for their birthday- this time around the food was not so great. I think we had a fairly new wait person because we ordered appetizers which came out then we ate and waited a while for her to return to place our orders for our main course. Those took a bit to come out but when our meal came out. The Mac n cheese was gritty and my filet- which I ordered well Done were bloodied.
