They are a friendly group of hospitality workers who seem to genuinely enjoy their work and treat their guests with sincere appreciation. It all starts at the top, and GM Red is a personable and sound leader. We loved the Chef's pasta, our octopus dish was stellar, the Calabrian Chicken almost stole the show, but the unctuous flavors on the plate of the Seared Halloumi was hands down my favorite. I love how this culinary team can crank out such outstanding flavors table to table and patron to patron without missing a beat. The energy in the room must feed their souls & for that we are grateful. After waiting 30 minutes, we were still sitting at the bar with no updates. At that point, it started feeling really disorganized. As more time passed, my friends went up to the hostess stand multiple times trying to get answers about what was going on, but the hostesses were rude and not helpful at all. By the time we were finally seated, 1 hour and 15 minutes had passed after our reservation time, which is honestly unacceptable when you have a reservation. At that point, we were considering just leaving. The service once seated was also not great. The food was okay, but definitely not enough to make up for the poor experience overall. If a restaurant has such limited space, I don't think they should overbook reservations if they can't actually seat guests close to their reserved time. No one wants to wait over an hour after making a reservation, especially for a special occasion like a birthday. I really hope management sees this and improves their reservation system and customer service, because this was a disappointing way to spend a birthday celebration.

The potato salad had a great balance of mustard and vegan mayo. The Sriracha dish was also delicious, but could have used more sauce which the owner happily supplied. Absolutely phenomenal dining experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff who made us feel right at home. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was both charming and unpretentious, striking the perfect balance for a night out. We started with the focaccia and the asparagus with burrata--both were beautifully prepared and packed with flavor. For our mains, we had the tagliatelle, saltimbocca, and cappellacci, and each dish was better than the last. We finished with the olive oil cake and tiramisu, which were absolute showstoppers. Honestly, we all but licked our plates clean. This spot is an absolute gem, and there's no question it's become a new favorite in downtown Raleigh. Can't wait to go back! read more

The food was mostly solid, but I had a couple of nitpicks. The bolognese was... interesting. It felt like a cross between a traditional bolognese and stroganoff, which wasn't necessarily bad, just not what I expected. The brussel sprout caesar salad was delicious, but I had brussel sprout burbs the rest of the night. For appetizers we ordered the Maine Lobster Doughnuts, Heirloom Tomato Pie (with Tennessee Buttermilk Cheddar & Sherry-Sherry Vinaigrette), and the Watermelon Vinaigrette (with Avocado, Goat Lady Dairy Chevre, & White Balsamic Vinaigrette). The Maine Lobster Doughnuts and Watermelon Vinaigrette were excellent. The watermelon was sliced, goat cheese wasn't too strong and had the perfect blend of flavors. We finished with the soft-serve sundae with braised blueberries, coconut graham crumble, and coconut cream. The blueberries were a little sweeter than I normally prefer, but the soft serve was delicious, the crumble added a nice texture, and the coconut cream was a subtle touch. Overall, it was a very good meal. Not every dish was a standout, but the gnocchi, broccolini, and sundae were the clear highlights.

The pizza was delicious and all the ingredients went together so well. It was very filling too so I left with leftovers for dinner. It tasted as good cold as it did hot. It took longer for us to receive our checks after requesting them than it did for our food so that can be a problem when your time is limited. But something that can be easily remedied.

They got me in with only 10 minutes to spare, which I really appreciated. The bartender and host were so kind and welcoming. Finding the location was a little confusing since Google Maps doesn't point directly to the spot, but once there, they have dedicated customer parking out front, which was a nice touch. I loved the Napa Time menu, it totally gives girl dinner vibes. The inside was beautiful, and the food was good and came out quickly. I'm excited to get back in town and try more!

It's never enough food. We had calamari/goat cheese/margherita flat bread. The calamari was sub par and the goat cheese was too small a portion. The flatbread was good. My meal, pan seared scallops, was a really good. The scallops were huge! Loved the garlic mashed potatoes! Would highly recommend! Service was quick. The only downside I had was the massive gout in my toe the following day from eating all those large scallops. If you are prone to gout, be weary of the scallops!
