    Plain Sugarcane Juice
    Han L.

Highlight: Plain Sugarcane Juice Sweet, but the cane taste isn't as strong. Kinda expensive, the total came to over $12 but the size is the largest size I've seen on Bellaire. Hospitality: Fast service, got the drink a few minutes after ordering. Honorable Mention: Located right in the heart of Hong Kong City Mall and seating in the store is limited.

    Pennywort with Fresh Coconut

I tried pennywort juice with fresh coconut from here. I would say it's pretty refreshing and definitely had a detectable pennywort flavor, but the tiny pieces of fresh coconut were a bit of a disappointment. With all of the other places nearby that sell good pennywort drinks, I probably wouldn't order this again.

This smoothie and boba tea shop is located inside the Hong Kong City Mall. I ordered the durian smoothie with crystal boba. It tasted alright. The service was just plain simple. They have so many varieties of smoothies and juices on the menu.

It really could have been better. With the prices, you would expect something of an upbeat, aesthetic shop for boba lovers and students alike, but there was not a pleasant vibe within the shop. It was silent, employee looked impatient and was not very helpful, and even seemed unsure of my selection. I ordered a green bean smoothie and while it was okay, there was no place for me to actually study. When I asked if there was an outlet or wifi, I was just told no, with no additional comments or help provided. It really does seem to be a place to just grab a pretty expensive, okay tasting drink, and then continue on about your day. I got my drink, it tasted okay, but that's all it really was; just okay. I'm not sure about this place, I'm probably not going to come back.

I really love your drinks they are amazing. The jelly's and bobas popping are so good. Your service is well worth. Love it I'm going here all day. https://www.instagram.com/jason_dxletay20010?igsh=eGk1czhlOWdmYW1z&utm_source=qr

It costs more to put less ice. Did not find out until after I paid. Drink is all artificial flavoring. Would only recommend to my worst enemies.

Not sure about all the bad reviews here but I typically come here for their Pennywort and mung beans drink (which is rau má đậu xanh in Vietnamese). This drink is super refreshing and healthy. An another fave is the Strawberry mango smoothie which is blended from fresh fruits! We didn't have to wait too long for the drinks either ~ it only took them 5 minutes to get all the drinks ready.

Not to be confused with the Fiji Mermaid, or Mount Fiji in Japan. Or the Fijis, responsible for such hits as Killing Me Softly and Ready or Not. Cute coffee and tea place inside the Hong Kong Mall. They serve Vietnamese smoothies and all kinds of other treats. You will notice them because of their multi colored fluorescent lettering on their place. Somebody wants attention. Call Charlie puth.

That was the basil seed/ice/liquid I was trying to figure out what it was until I was basically rudely screamed at so I would leave.

This is truly a review upon customer service and store ambiance. Customer service: The yelp reviews about the cranky lady taking orders are true. She is extremely rude and very unwelcoming. While taking another customers' order, she screams "Can I help you?!" as I was taking a photo and looking into their jellies/toppings. I asked what was one of the basil seed containers were because there was a huge chuck of ice and some brown liquid that I've never seen before. She then says "I don't know what you're saying! I don't know!!" and shrugs her shoulders hard as if I'm stupid and she is speaking to a child. I then just walk out because I didn't want to cause a seen with my uncle who is walking for me. Ambiance: Very dirty looking and unsanitary. Fruits look very dry and old. Floor was dirty and where I was standing was very sticking.

    Worst customer service ever ...
    HsiaoCheng W.

Super fast service. But super rude attitude. I told the lady I wanted "T7 milk tea". She wanted me to pay cash but all I had was credit card. Her machine was working fine and they even have a credit card sign on the front door. She finally agreed and I entered my card and clicked the option for printed receipt instead of email. I asked the lady for the receipt and she said she already cleared the machine so it was too late for a receipt. Grrrr. Then she gave me some coffee drink. I asked what this was and she said I ordered C7. I told her I ordered "T7 milk tea" and I didn't even know what a C7 was. She said well that's what I ordered. Not her fault. This went back and for about half a dozen times. She just kept saying "you say C7". But eventually she gave me a milk tea. I don't know if I was overcharged or undercharged for my drink because she couldn't be bothered to correct the price. There are so many places in Chinatown that serve this kind of product. It's not worth the hassle coming here.

Cafe 101 serve Japanese and Chinese food. There are table and booths inside as well as a full bar. We started with a couple of sushi specials... bluefin toro and Uni. Thought the bluefin toro were fresh as well as the Uni. Wasn't expecting so was pleasantly surprised. For our mains, we ordered the twice cooked pork and beef galbi. Both came as a set... with rice, side dish of pickled radish and carrots and dessert. Price-wise, it was reasonable considering it came as a set. Twice cooked pork hits the spot. It was plenty and had some to go. Galbi was decent... it's not like Korean Galbi. It was pretty saucy, sweet and tender. It was decent portion as well. Think we found our new late night spot! Look forward to trying out the rest of their menu in the future. :-)

The lounge like ambiance, along with their diner-like menu, is a major selling point for folks and has been one of the reasons for their popularity over the better part of the last two decades. It is a bit trendy and plays music that you would think of and in a Miami lounge or a pretentious New York Club. While service is not their strong suit, the clean bathrooms, spacious seating, and semi-open kitchen makes up for some 'tudes from the staff. The menu is most definitely Asian, but blends from a predominantly Chinese menu and featuring various Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese items. The latter includes sushi, which is likely one of the only spots in the neighborhood that still has it after midnight. They have bluefin tuna and sea urchin, in which Cafe 101 is one of the only late night spots to offer it. Their beef chow fun is nice and greasy, but filled with excessive onions, bean sprouts, and various other veggies that almost take away from the noodles and beef (which was nicely cooked). Their shrimp and egg came in a nice set, which was a good surprise and surprisingly well executed. This is also a spot for Japanese curry, and even though it's not the best, it most certainly does the job. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is on point, cumin lamb is unsurprisingly spicy, and Singapore chow mai fun has a tinge of solid wok hei. (#1) I'm genuinely not a fan of their soups and think the sushi rolls are not their best work. While they also have milk, tea options, unless one is desperate, I would also steer clear of. Parking in the early evening can be an issue at Don Huang Plaza, but after 11pm, the parking options should be abundant. I would consider coming here in a larger group, especially with late night owls. ___________ (#1) Wok's essence (鑊氣)

While the osmanthus with cream remains my personal favorite, this visit I ordered the high mountain pouchong with orange and was not disappointed. Luckily there wasn't a line. I picked up a green tea passion fruit tea and was surprised how tasty it was! The drink was a pretty yellow hue with passion fruit seeds at the top. The green tea flavor wasn't overly strong or dry wnd was very fragrant-- super tasty~ It came in a recyclable little sling carrier too, super cute :) I love how the brand focuses on real fruit, milk/cream so there aren't any artificial ingredients lurking around. You can order at the kiosk or at the cashier. For sweetness customization, they only have full level, less sweet, and no sugar options. The less sweet is already plenty sweet for me, so wish there was a slightly less sweet option than that. The service was polite and friendly, and the inside was clean with several tables. Besides the great taste, I really appreciate the "no artificial stuff" way of doing things. After one drink I'm Chicha San Chen fan! Be sure to stop by sometime and try their tea :D
