Brad (the owner) was communicative and responsive to our many questions from the moment he responded to my voice mail. The Ren-O-Paint crew likewise were always ready to answer questions we had. Brad would check in with us every day the crew was there to ask if we had any questions. They did what they said they were going to do: Show up at a certain time on a certain date. Dan made suggestions on certain portions of the house based on his experience that turned out to be an excellent fit for us. Got great recommendations about Fernando from a colleague so we called for an estimate for the…read moreexterior. It was so reasonable that we asked for the interior estimate as well. Fernando and the crew did such a great job inside, with different colors for each room. They got the exact paint colors that we requested and cleaned up afterwards. We had different crew come for phase 1 and phase 2 of the interior but they were all very polite and very professional. Fernando was very easy to work with and he could be reached by phone or email. The exterior was a bit tricky due to off and on rain. We had to postpone numerous times but finally they came out when we got some sun. We asked Fernando for his expert advise on the door - it's hard to explain but he gave us his opinion and we went with it. And we asked about the quality of the paint and he recommended Benjamin Moore or Kelly Moore - both good quality paint. He even cleaned our gutters since it's so high up. He will give you the best service for a reasonable price. We already recommended him to all our friends and coworkers! We will definitely use them again in the future! However, from there, the experience became very stressful. The invoice from the project came from "Seattle ART Construction", but the phone number and business card referred to FAGU construction, hence the review here. The crew of 3+ people that was supposed to come was mostly 1 person, with a helper here and there. They were never on time and late by a few hours each day. The constructions site was disorganized, there were bits and screws everywhere. After the project finished, there was a big problem with a new leak that didn't exist before. Fabricio has not responded to email or phone. At this point, I just want to warn others before taking on larger, more complex projects with FAGU construction or Seattle ART Construction.

They are a family owned business and wouldn't stop until everything was to my satisfaction. (They don't just say that, they follow through and make sure it's what you want.) The only thing preventing this from being a 5-star review is that I had to ask them to fix a few areas I wasn't happy with. I am a perfectionist and fairly picky so these are nit-picks, but I would expect there to be a quality control process to catch this. There were some wall dings that weren't filled in and a couple of two small paint runs. (This was actually fewer than I would expect on a project this size.) However, these weren't fixed until I pointed it out and would like to see the painters go back and look for these small things. Once I pointed it out they gladly fixed the issues and now have a nice paint job.
