We've eaten here a few times before and have always had great meals, so we wanted to bring our friends to experience this hidden gem. I made a 5:00 p.m. reservation, and we arrived right on time. We were seated a few minutes early, which was a nice start to the evening. Our server greeted us promptly with water and then returned to take our drink order. My wife ordered the Dragon Fruit cocktail, I had the Rye Old Fashioned, and our friends enjoyed the Watermelon Refresher and the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. For dinner, our friends ordered the salmon and the burger with fries. My wife and I shared the Green Goddess Salad and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. When our meals arrived, everything looked absolutely amazing. We all dug in, and every dish lived up to the presentation. Our friends said the salmon was fabulous, and the burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and delicious, but the star of the evening was definitely the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. They were incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and simply OMG good! Even though we were all full, we couldn't pass up dessert. We shared the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the drinks and food to the friendly service and atmosphere, Hidden Still Spirits continues to impress us. We're glad we brought our friends here, and they were just as impressed as we have been on our previous visits. We'll definitely be back again!

Went to the englewood tavern with the fam for a nice time to bond! The location is beautiful and…read morescenic, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! I ordered a crispy chicken Ceasar sandwich and was less than pleased. The Caesar portion had a strange smell and taste that didn't compliment the sandwich and the crispy chicken cutlet was very tough and involved alot of tugging to rip and chew. I honestly dont have the best culinary experiences with englewood when I have gone in the past and don't visit often. Ive previously eaten other chicken sandwiches and pizzas. The chicken sandwiches miss the mark in taste and mouth feel and the pizza is usually too greasy. The saving grace of the night was our waitress! She was brilliant, funny, and attentive to our 7 person party. Really appreciate it! The bill was well over $300 dollars and I dont think it was worth it for the quality of food received. There are better restaurants in Hershey. Quality: 2/5 Customer service: 5/5 Cost for value: 2/5

I had a fantastic visit to Devon's! Clean, excellent restaurant right in Hershey! We had a…read morereservation (highly recommended) it was early Saturday night and still very busy! I had the tuna steak, roasted heirloom carrots in honey sriracha butter and whipped Yukon gold potatoes. Our waitress was great- very knowledgeable about the menu, including the gluten free options. She said that for the current menu, all sides are gluten free except for the lobster Mac and cheese. No gluten free rolls or pasta options but many seafood and steak options. Mocktail options available as well! Plenty of free parking, which is always nice!

I've been to this place numerous times now, and the biggest thing I'll say upfront is: you never…read morereally know what you're walking into on a given night. Consistency is a real concern here. That said, let me break it down. Ambiance: 4/5 Context matters here. In the wintertime, you walk in and it's dark, cozy, and has legitimately good steakhouse vibes. In the summertime though, those vibes basically disappear. So call it a 4.5 in the winter and closer to a 2 in the summer -- we'll average it out to a 4. Still probably one of the better ambiances in the Hershey area, which isn't saying a ton, but credit where it's due. Service: 5/5 No complaints here. Multiple waiters coming around, water always filled, attentive throughout. Great job. Food: 3/5 This is where it gets complicated. The steaks -- they know how to get the cut right and cook it to your requested temperature, I'll give them that. But if you've been to top tier steakhouses, you know this isn't one: the plate is not piping hot, the steak not bursting with flavor, kind of dry, not juicy, not the best crust. The sides deserve some credit though -- the potatoes au gratin and asparagus are pretty solid. However, I ordered the red snapper, which came with mushrooms and a puree, and the sides were so small you could barely see them under the fish. The fish itself was cooked well, though I personally like my fish with some kind of juicy base. That may just be the style here. Overall: 3/5 Look, Devon is the best steakhouse Hershey has to offer -- but you have to keep that context in mind. If you're holding it to a high steakhouse standard, it's going to fall short. Consistency is the biggest issue. Some nights are better than others, and at these prices, that's not acceptable. Go in with the right expectations and you'll have a fine time. Go in expecting a top tier steakhouse experience and you'll leave disappointed.
