Tuna steak, Roasted heirloom carrots in honey sriracha butter and Whipped Yukon gold potatoes. Strawberry fields mocktail
    Emily R.

I had a fantastic visit to Devon's! Clean, excellent restaurant right in Hershey! We had a reservation (highly recommended) it was early Saturday night and still very busy! I had the tuna steak, roasted heirloom carrots in honey sriracha butter and whipped Yukon gold potatoes. Our waitress was great- very knowledgeable about the menu, including the gluten free options. She said that for the current menu, all sides are gluten free except for the lobster Mac and cheese. No gluten free rolls or pasta options but many seafood and steak options. Mocktail options available as well! Plenty of free parking, which is always nice!

We had our wedding reception in one of the private rooms which went extremely well. The food was excellent and the servers we got were amazing. Highly recommend.

We rated this dinner a 5...delicious dinner, so yummy cocktails, & fabulous ambiance. Our seafood was so good...seafood trio, turbot, lobster bisque, & oysters on the half-shell. And the drinks we had were Hershey's kisses Signature chocolate martini & Spiced Blood & Sand. And our server was so helpful & attentive.

Delicious food! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. We went earlier on a Sunday, about 5pm, and there wasn't many people. However by the time we left, it was full! Great ambience. We did book in advance so I would recommend that considering how popular it is! I had the Cider Glazed Scallops which were delicious- though the polenta tasted very very strong. Almost too strong. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was ok. I didn't find it to be anything special. The fresh oysters were delicious too! I shared the Calamari with my mum to start- it was delicious!! And definitely enough to share. The Monkfish and Mixed grill were apparently very nice too. Would definitely come back again- but only for a special occasions!

This restaurant came highly recommended by several staff members at HHotel and Uber drivers, so we decided to give it a try. Our server was super knowledgeable and friendly. He even laughed when I compared their cheesy biscuit to Red Lobster's, but it was definitely delicious, especially with their butter sauce. I ordered their version of a Dark and Stormy cocktail, which was really good. For appetizers, I had the tuna tataki and crab cakes, which I ended up enjoying as my main meal. I also ordered a sharable lobster mac and cheese as my side, which was amazing. All the dishes were delicious, and the ambiance was great for anyone craving seafood. The prices were in line with other seafood and steakhouse restaurants. I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you have a large group, especially during peak season. We were able to sit at the bar, and the barstools were comfortable. Clean bathrooms and I'll definitely be back again!

In search of a high-quality dining experience in Central Pennsylvania, we found ourselves at Devon in Hershey. Our time was largely excellent. There was one negative that we'll get out of the way first. Smelling marijuana while dining, or frankly anytime, but especially when dining, is a big issue. While we don't know where the smell was coming from, it did seem to be coming off of a staff member - not our waiter. Speaking of our waiter, Chris did an outstanding job. He was genuinely friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, cocktails and wine. And the water... clean tasting and clearly filtered. For starters, we tried the caesar salad, shrimp cocktail and calamari. Each was very good but the shrimp cocktail was a clear winner. For entrees we tried surf and turf with crab cake and also with shrimp and scallops, grilled barramundi, bouillabaisse and mixed seafood grill. All were excellent. The 8-oz fillets were prepared perfectly to our liking. All of our other dishes were excellent as well. If there was one dish we might not get again, it was the barramundi. Coffee and desserts were also highlights of an overall great evening. We tried peanut butter chocolate tort, brûléed cheesecake, affogato and Hershey's chocolate velvet cake. Overall a 9/10.

Wow! We decided to order appetizers only. It was so fun! We had the artichoke and spinach dip. It was fresh and we enjoyed the pita bread that came with it. We had the tempura shrimp rolls- sushi with a delicious dipping sauce. The lobster bisque was rich and creamy with chunks of lobster throughout. Delish!! We ordered a side of lobster Mac and cheese which just hit!! Big chunks of lobster with creamy cheese sauce. Our last order was the seafood trio- 2 crab cakes, shrimp scampi and calamari. It came was 3 sauces which were all delicious. We will be back to try entrees the next time.

Excellent steak and seafood right by HersheyPark with friendly service, great execution, and comfortable seating. Be sure to get the bone-in ribeye with a side of the asparagus risotto and lobster mac and cheese. You can also sub in the ribeye for the fillet to make a surf and turf - definitely get the lump crab cake which is literally all lump crabmeat with no filler. The seafood cioppino is also excellent with fresh seafood and a flavorful, robust, yet light tomato sauce. The carrot cake is great finish. Our server was very helpful and sweet. Will be back next time we are in Hershey, for sure.

This place is 100% one of the best places to eat in Hershey. The food is incredible. The staff couldn't be nicer. The atmosphere is upscale and cozy. It ticks every single box. I have to brag about their amazing crème brûlée. it was hands down one of the absolute best I've had! I would come back here just for that dessert. The fried calamari is amazing. Steaks were cooked perfectly. 100% will be back!

They need rsvp but it's easy to make it on the same day for weekdays. Food is always amazing as well as the service. I really like their crème brûlée and order it all the time. It is a bit fancy and also the price! A good place to celebrate for anniversary or birthday. Only drawback is that it is crowded all the time and might not be the place if you are looking for quiet and cozy.

I recently visited Chocolate Avenue Grill for a business meeting on a Wednesday evening and was…read moresurprised by how busy it was. Even on a weeknight, the restaurant was adequately packed, so I would strongly recommend making a reservation if you're planning to dine here. A few things to know before you go: Popular restaurant that can be quite busy, even during the work week. Reservations are a good idea, especially during dinner hours. There is a small parking lot surrounding the restaurant, as well as street parking. Both were full when I arrived. There is a free parking garage across the street behind the storefronts, which ended up being the easiest parking option. For drinks, I ordered the Peach Sangria, and it was excellent. Refreshing, flavorful, and not overly sweet, it paired nicely with dinner and was one of the highlights of the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the: Chicken Marsala Sautéed chicken breast with mushrooms in a marsala wine sauce served over house-made linguini or mashed potatoes & asparagus. Unfortunately, this dish didn't quite meet my expectations. The Marsala sauce itself was decent, but by the time the meal arrived, the linguini was somewhat cold. As a result, the noodles had begun to harden and stick together, which affected the overall experience. Considering the price point, I didn't feel the dish offered good value, and it's not something I would order again. That said, the restaurant's popularity, lively atmosphere, and excellent sangria make me interested in returning. I'd be curious to try some of the other menu offerings on a future visit, as there were several dishes that looked appealing. Overall, while my entrée was disappointing, the atmosphere and drink selection were enough that I'd be willing to give Chocolate Avenue Grill another chance.

Named after the year the historic hotel opened its doors, the space boasts a stunning ambiance--complete with a beautiful stained-glass ceiling and gorgeous views--but the real star of the show is the menu. We kicked off the night with two incredible starters. The meatloaf sliders, made with rich Bow Creek Angus beef and topped with a perfectly balanced BBQ glaze and cheddar, were pure comfort food elevated to gourmet status. Right alongside them, the beef carpaccio (also using local Bow Creek beef) was an absolute standout. It was beautifully delicate, brightened up with a shallot-caper dressing, pickled onions, and a finishing touch of grana padano and smoked sea salt. For the main course, 1933 proves it can compete with any high-end chophouse. The steaks are expertly prepared, boasting a flawless sear on the outside while remaining incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. You can taste the premium quality of the cuts with every single bite. Of course, you can't visit a resort in the Sweetest Place on Earth without indulging in a bit of chocolate. To drink, the chocolate martini is a masterclass in mixology--decadent, velvety, and smooth without being cloyingly sweet. We doubled down on dessert with the chocolate cream pie, featuring a rich, silken filling and an effortlessly flaky crust that made for the perfect final note to an exceptional meal.Between the historic nods, the phenomenal steakhouse execution, and top-tier service, 1933 has quickly cemented itself as a must-visit dining destination in Hershey.

If you asked me to rate this restaurant on food and drinks alone, I'd say 5 stars, easily. Ask…read moreabout Nathan, the server we had, and that 5-star food gets dragged straight down to a 2-star overall experience. We eat in the Hershey area constantly and are spoiled by the genuinely phenomenal service you get at Hershey Entertainment restaurants. Nathan wasn't just below that bar -- he was the worst server we've ever had, anywhere, full stop. Rude. Unprofessional. Completely incompetent. Somehow all three at once. We'd been looking forward to trying this newer Hershey spot, and Nathan singlehandedly torched the whole experience. First, the wait: over an hour for our food, on a slow Sunday evening with a half-empty dining room. Not a busy kitchen slammed on a Saturday night -- a quiet Sunday. There is no version of that wait that's defensible. Then the mistakes started stacking up, one after another. We'd told the restaurant at the time of our reservation that two people in our party had birthdays that week, specifically because this place advertises chocolate-covered strawberries for birthday guests -- it's part of why we chose it. Nathan never mentioned it, never brought it, never acknowledged it. Just dropped, like it never happened. We asked three separate times for boxes to take our leftovers home. Three times. For boxes. One of our burgers was supposed to come with chips -- it didn't, and Nathan never so much as offered to fix it. Then the carrot sticks. We asked for a side of carrot sticks for one of our kids, and Nathan told us they don't carry those -- despite having just delivered wings to our own table with a side of carrot sticks sitting right there on the plate. Instead of correcting himself, he brought fries instead and charged us for them, on top of the side that should have been included with the meal. So not only did he lie about not having what we asked for, he swapped in something else without telling us and billed us extra for it. That's the one thing we bothered flagging for the manager -- we simply didn't have the bandwidth left to fight every other failure after an hour-plus with exhausted kids who needed to get to bed. The manager, to her credit, moved fast: she got the carrot sticks out right away and pulled the fries off our bill. But that was the last we saw of her. No follow-up, no check-in to see if anything else needed fixing, nothing. She solved the one problem we raised and then disappeared, while every other issue -- the strawberries, the boxes, the missing chips -- just sat there unresolved. The food is genuinely excellent, and that makes this harder, not easier. A meal this good deserved a server who could handle the basics, and a birthday celebration deserved better than an hour of forgotten requests, invented shortages, and a surprise upcharge on food that was never supposed to cost extra. My wife's willing to give the restaurant another shot. I'm far less convinced -- and if we do go back, it won't be with Nathan.

There are two of these in the area, we weren't quite sure which one to hit, so we opted for the one closer to our hotel in Hershey. We arrived just as they were opening at 11:00 am for lunch. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender and the server. They were the only two working up front, but it was fine; our entire time there, only one other table came in (this was on a Friday). The inside was nice, and we were seated by a fire. The only gripe I have is that the chairs seemed to be the wrong size/height for the tables. But other than that, the place looked good. My wife ordered a beer flight with an assortment of sours and a wheat. I went for the Annville IPA Bold Cask. It was a really, really good beer. Smooth, fully-bodied, and with a good amount of hops. Plus, it's 9.8%, so if you ask me, that's a great way to start off a lunch! The beer flight was decent, but more my wife's thing. Now onto the food. There were a lot of great choices, and we were starving, so of course, everything looked good. We always order for our six-year-old first so they can eat while we relax. We ordered him the hot dog and tots. For our apps, we ordered the Tator Tot Nachos: house cheese sauce, fresh pico, scallions, jalapenos, cilantro lime sour cream, and chicken. And also the smoked wings with hot sauce. I'm always a fan of tator tots, maybe it's because I never had them as a kid, or they really are that good. But these were perfect on a cold day in central PA when you're hungry. The right amount of salt on the tots, crispy exterior and creamy inside, plus the toppings (I love fresh jalapeño). The wings were okay, but this was to be expected. They're smoked, and as much as I love smoked food, you never get the skin crispy (especially on wings). They had a slight smoke flavor and a good sauce, but I'm a "well done" wing guy, so these I would pass on next time. By the time we were going to order lunch, my wife realized she was already full, and we still had a decent amount of food left. So she just picked at the appetizers. I was getting there myself, but I wanted to try a burger. I ordered the Pub Burger: 8 oz, Cooper Sharp, red pepper-bacon jam, dill pickle aioli, lettuce, brioche, and fries (because who can resist more fried potatoes). It came out perfectly medium rare as I ordered and seasoned well. I was apprehensive about the red pepper-bacon jam; I'm not a fan of sweet, but in this case, it worked. It was a great burger (although I only ate a quarter of it). The service was good, and she was very personable and polite. But one thing that was strange. She was on the phone almost the entire time we were there with whom she said was the owner (or maybe a manager). We heard her discussing the reservations and large parties coming in. This was a long call, and while I know there wasn't a lot going on in the restaurant, we felt at times we needed something, and she was busy talking. I'm not blaming her; if it were the owner or manager, they should certainly know better and keep it short. But when she was there, she was great. All in all, a great recommendation from a friend that we are happy we stopped to try. We will be back again, maybe sooner than our annual trip to Hershey!
