It is my first time at Finest Thai. I ordered the pad thai with pork and I checked in to try the thai tea....one of the best places in El cajon to get thai food. Had the perfect flavor and just enough spice. As for the thai tea if have sweet tooth then their teas then they have it for you! read more

Ordered the house fried rice through the eat app and it came with 2 shrimps, in the notes someone else said she only got 1 shrimp (I shouldn't have taken a chance but I did).. Wow!! Called them and they said it only comes with 2 shrimps. So don't ever order the house fried rice if you want more than 2 shrimps. How they got so many stars, I have no clue. I've been frequenting Finest Thai all year. It's always extremely fresh, even when I get it delivery through Uber Eats. Of the four or five times I've had it though, ive sat in the dining room which is usually pretty busy during peak lunch and dinner times but if you go toward the end of their dining hours, it's very quiet. I'm always helped right away and my foods always exactly as I ordered it and very fresh. Portions are large and plentiful. I usually get Spicy Noodle and Calamari as an appetizer or I get fried rice. Easy to share a dinner entree, and the lunch combo comes with soup and a friend wonton and a dumpling. I definitely will keep coming to try their other meals but I'm sort of stuck on the spicy noodle! It's peppery, the noodles have never been overlooked or mushy, my vegetable are cooked well -- they still have some bite to them and that's how I love them -- nothing worse than soggy green beans. read more

I eat here fairly often. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The chicken satay appetizer is very good. I recommend trying the curries, my personal favorite is the green curry, level 7. I have tried a few of the other dishes (pad Thai, etc) but they didn't dazzle, not bad just average. Best Thai restaurant I've ever been to. The food is sooooo good that I would come regularly to try everything on the menu. Services were good too, they checked on us to make sure that we are satisfied, I am willing to tip them more compared with some of other places. From the street, its not much to look at, and if not for Yelp, I probably never would have tried this place. Eat here. It's good. Spicy noodles are good. Curry too. I ordered Pad Thai for the first time and it tasted like hot cheetos. It was as if they took a handful of hot cheetos, threw them in a food grinder and mixed them in with the noodles (This could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you are). I'm not really complaining, since I ate them lol. If Taco bell can make tacos out of Doritos, then they can make Pad Thai out of Hot Cheetos, it's only fair. read more

I ordered lao soup from this place. It did not taste like it at all. It was like a mixture of waton and egg drop soup. My taste buds where confused. One of our lunch stops , not the sweet brown sauce most of us are use to . This is a simple cleaner version with level two spicing being great for average folks . Most of the curry and soups are great . Smaller lunch portions and dinner sizes are a choice all day . Getting a big Thai ice tea is needed if your spice level ends up higher than ordered . Found this place on yelp. Had been a while since I had Thai food. So I figured I would try it. Sat down and asked what the house recommend. Ended up getting a few choices and went with the spicy noodle with beef. The dish was killleerrr. Super fresh and everything was cooked perfect.
