Good food! 2nd time here and food still good. I came here today; they are open for 4 hours on Sunday. Slow service but courteous wait staff. I asked for spice level 3 and my husband asked for spice level 2. His Pineapple fried riced is hotter than my order, Panang curry chicken. The order taker must've mixed up the spice level. I had the yellow curry with white rice and it was divine. cooked to perfection (all tho it took a few minutes) but with patience comes great reward. The flavors danced in my mouth i personally like spice curry and having it at a number 5 on the spice scale was perfect. the carrots and potatoes was cooked to perfection not over cooked where it felt like mush and not undercooked where i could of broken my teeth but just right where you can cut it with the weight of a fork. Paired with a thai tea it was amazing. the portions are a good size for 2 people and the price is cheep compared to other thai places but defiantly worth every penny. read more

First time here, First time Thai. I was surprised to say I really enjoyed it, not because it was Thai but because it was a small place tucked in a shopping mall. I took my girlfriend around 2 in the afternoon and they were busy, we waited about 5 mins to be seated. The girl working was really nice and doing a good job helping everyone by herself. I have been alot of places but never had Thai and she was very informative explaining how it works. There were 10 spice levels with 3 being the middle...ok so I went for 3 as she explained we could always add more heat with there wonderful sauce tray. I ordered the Ginger Delight lunch special with combination meat, and my girlfriend got there Yellow Curry with the same meat. Both were really good and that's saying alot for me because I highly dislike the flavors of curry. The heat was perfect too. Ordered my food online through yelp for delivery. I ordered it at 4:30 (half an hour prior to opening). Food arrived by 6pm on a very rainy night. The delivery man was very polite and apologized for the late delivery. It was only 15 minutes late. Not bad in my book. And it was good! I ordered way too much - the portions are large! One dish can easily feed two people, maybe even three. You get a lot of food for the price! I loved the yellow curry with chicken the best! I also enjoyed the pad thai. One of the best Thai restaurants in San Diego!! Love this place. Just found it a few months ago and I seriously think we've been here at least 6 times! The lunch menu is quite extensive and we have not been disappointed with anything. Be warned, they are spicy, which we love!! So my usually spicy 7 goes down to a spicy 5 here. This was probably one of the worst food choices that I've made regarding Thai food in awhile. I really love Thai food, however not from this place. I ordered, and requested the food to be delivered. This is where I went wrong because the person who picked up the phone said "one-hour," and I agreed. However, it did not show up in one hour, or an hour and half! The food finally arrived nearly 2-hours after placing the order! I ordered two orders of Pad see ew, and I have to admit that it was delicious, even a little warm. It did not arrive hot or fresh, so that was an issue for me. I also ordered cream cheese wontons, however they neglected to say it was crabrangoon. My issue wasn't really the fact that it had crab, but when your order fried wontons you expect them to be crispy or warm, right? Wrong, they showed up cold and soggy, and when I picked one up to eat, the wonton flopped over my hand, and could barely hold the cream cheese inside the wonton. I would not recommend this place to anyone if you're hoping to order take out. People might've experienced something different eating inside the restaurant, but DON'T ORDER TAKE OUT. read more

Delicious food. I have had the yellow green and red curry. Heat level 3 is perfect. My daughter likes level 7. We have tried fried rice with chicken very good. Glass noodles is also delicious. Thai tea refreshing. Their serving sizes are great. I always take some home. The lunch specials are a real good value. read more

A friend of mine wanted to go here for her birthday and am very happy she introduced me to this place! I got the yellow curry and it was fantastic. They let you choose how spicy you want it on a scale of 1-10 and I was glad the waitress mentioned 3 is medium because that was about all I could handle. Thai ice tea was delicious too. Not the greatest. They served uncooked chicken. The food was at best okay, not great, not excellent, not as good as it could be. The server didn't bring plates for the appetizers, the water glasses looked kind of dirty, and the silverware was not totally clean. I only gave it a star because I had to. The spicy noodles are the bomb! Not to far away from the freeway and from where I work. I always get them with beef (their tofu and pork are really good as well). I normally get mine with a lvl 3 spice but for my friends that dont like spicy food they can make them without spice and it still turns out great! Ordered food to go from this restaurant last night. Should of known when I walked in and saw an employee sick with a mask over his face that eating at this restaurant was a bad idea. 3 hours after eating yellow curry, I became violently ill with the worst cramping pains I have ever felt and threw up 8 times within a 2 hour time period. I was then taken to the ER where I was given 2 IVs because I was so dehydrated from throwing up, along with nausea medicine to ease the worst pain I've ever felt. Doctor said it was definitely a food poisoning/ stomach bug from eating at this contaminated restaurant. Needless to say, think twice before eating here. I want a refund. Husband spotted this place and knowing Thai is my favorite, took me there to dinner tonight. Great little place, fantastic staff, and suprisingly good food (it is East County after all). We had the chicken satay appetizer; good flavor (it's hard to mess up satay) and served with a cucumber sweet vinegar sauce that was delicious. I had the Rama Thai-3. It was very good. The vegetables were crisp and not overcooked, the chicken was cut in very thin strips just the way it should be. I thought the portion size was good; enough to take home for lunch tomorrow. My husband had the Chow Ming-3 with shrimp and calamari. I'm not a huge noodle fan, so this was just "okay" for me. He said he should have tried it a bit spicer, but he liked it. My review is from take out/delivery and a little of dine in. First off, what kinda delivery person doesn't carry change? I feel like he came in expecting to keep my change for tip. Yes I was going to tip him, but not my whole change! I could have bought a whole new plate with my change. That to me pissed me off. Second, I ordered Pho, the soup is dark in color and because of the taste I know they pre prepped it wth the dark sauce they normally have in the table. I never asked for that and I'm not a fan of that sauce. I cannot finish my soup because they put so much its over powering, I put a whole lemon juice (which they didn't provide, came out of my fridge) and not even that could mask it. The first time we ate at this restaurant the Thai tea was good and big! But the service was kinda slow. It makes me sad to have to update my review. This used to be our favorite place to go for a lunch date. Now both my husband and I agree that it's seriously lacking. First we noticed that the girls who had always served us and chatted with us weren't there. I'm not sure if they left or if they were off that day. The soup wasn't nearly as good as it usually was. It didn't taste like it was a flavor imbalance, it was a totally different soup. I also overheard the waiter talking to another table about "new owners." I'm guessing that's why the soup was different. My favorite dish, the pad se ew, came out and it was bland. I'd ordered this dish dozens of times and it was a huge disappointment. I ended up taking most of it home in a box and only ate half later before I decided to just throw it out. I was, and am, totally heartbroken about this restaurant. This was about 5 months ago and I really have no interest in going back sadly. I may give them another chance but for now we are searching for a new Thai lunch spot still. read more

We ordered the orange chicken w/brown rice spicy, chicken basil w/veg & jasmine rice, chicken flat noodles, & mango w/sticky rice. The food was unbelievably flavorful. I like the large portion for the noodle entree which I ate leftovers for a few days, but the basil chicken was a much smaller portion and they forgot to deliver the jasmine rice with this entree. Every bite of every item we ordered was mouth watering delicious beyond words. This was our first order with finest thai and it did NOT disappoint.
