It's just the three of us again. We had the houseChubasco Burgers with cheese. Really quite good with Onion Rings. The Cobb salad with grilled chicken was excellent to share. Prompt service and friendly. We ll be back.

Went to Fini's for a work happy hour and it was divine! They were really busy but we all still got our food quick and you could tell everything was fresh. Our waiter was very attentive, and very sweet and despite it being packed he checked on us quite a few times, clearing plates and taking more orders. The ambiance is also very nice the place is covered in surf boards and it appears that they offer live music on some nights as well! It is a little bit pricey, but for anyone wanting to grab some seafood tacos, nachos or well seasoned fries- it's a great spot!

Never a bad experience at this our neighborhood bar. Taco Tuesday again today and also an order of burger sliders.

We live bit far from the restaurant, it takes around 25mins driving, but we come because of the kid's school fundraising. Order online around 5pm, then got there around 5.40pm. It was very busy, almost couldn't get a parking. The food was ready when we got there, I didn't check them and just picked up then left. Once we get home and open the food, my order was not complete. There was no chicken wing, as mentioned in the menu description for the blacken Caesar salad. Since we live far, I didn't want to drove back but I email them to make a complaint. It's been 4 days but no news at all from them. The food taste just ok, nothing special. The portion is small. It really overpriced. I am very disappointed!

Late lunch on a Holiday Monday. I've always like this place. Mostly because it's in my 'hood, but also it puts out good food, always great service, and fun to watch a game. Were fans.

Ordered 3 different tacos to try. All were really tasty. When I went in to the restaurant I noticed it's a sports bar more than a restaurant. But that's okay. Stood by front door for few mins before someone came over to ask what I wanted. Said I wanted to order take out. She directed me to the one bartender who was handling the whole bar and like 30 customers all by herself. She was actually pretty quick to take my order and they came up in like 10 mins. So nice and quick. Good experience overall. Would go again if I'm in the area.

This place seems to be a local hangout, and I see why. Very welcoming, got service right away. Great selection on the food menu. Their drinks are a bit pricey, but not sure if they also run specials at times. I had the Grilled Avocado Tacos....very good and the sauce had a nice kick to it. I also had a Prickly Pear Paloma....it was mixed perfectly. The hubby had the El Cubano (pulled pork) and he wasn't overly thrilled with it, but that is only because he doesn't do spicy and I don't think he knew what he was getting into. Great vibe to the place!

Ordered lunch for the office! I personally ordered the cheeseburger well done but apparently that was a big mistake because it was BURNT. The bun, the burger patty and the bacon all burnt and accompanied with a hair. We also got a chubasco burger(medium) and the landing cobb salad. They could've written chicken on the cup they put it in since it wasn't on the salad. I ordered online for pickup and wasn't able to select no jalapenos for the Chubasco but I called and they obliged. Not sure what the ambiance was because I didn't pick it up but it was done on time.

    How has their breakfast been?

We had a great breakfast there! Several of us had the breakfast tacos, and others took the basic 2 egg breakfast. All was very tasty, well prepared, and reasonably priced. We ate on the patio and had a gorgeous view of the nearby mountains.

My hubs suggested that we go to The Frida and see if we could get in. We drive over and guess what, we go lucky, must have been that everyone had a 4th of July hangover. We sat at the bar and couldn't be happier. Our server/bartender took great care of us, he offered us drinks, took our food order and made my hubby a really good Margarita, The Frida Margarita, he said it was bomb! I ordered a beer and it came with a chilled glass and lime wedge. We decided on the flautas and the mole enchiladas. Both fantastic, tasty and hearty! I got full with two enchiladas so I donated the third to my hubby, which he was super happy to eat. I have to say, the mole sauce was decadent and full of flavors. It really reminded me of my grandmas mole. It also left a delicious numbing (very slight) on my lips. Perfect balance of nutty, spicy, almost semi sweet goodness. Gorgeously prepared and looked almost too good to eat. Almost..... The place was full, we were still able to have a conversation. It was amazing. Will definitely be back to continue to enjoy the carefully curated menu. Everyone seemed happy and relaxed! This screams a great place to work and obviously enjoy. Well done La Frida! Well done!

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.

Located in downtown Tucson, this iconic restaurant is full of character and beautifully decorated. We visited on a Saturday around 1 PM without a reservation and were told there would be a wait since the place was packed. They only have air conditioning in the indoor dining areas and basement, not on the outdoor patio. Luckily, we were seated in the basement, which turned out to be perfect. The service was commendable truly some of the sweetest and most attentive service we've experienced in a long time. We started with freshly made chips and salsa, which were an instant hit. For drinks, we ordered the El Tamarindo, Mangopeno, and Monica's Cafetini. For food, we chose the Vegan Jackfruit Taquitos Trio and the Fresh Corn Tamale Platter, which came with a side of squash. The drinks were excellent, with the Mangopeno being my favorite. But the real star of the meal was the tamale platter. Oh my goodness it was absolutely delicious! Everyone at the table kept digging in and couldn't get enough. Even the squash side was so flavorful that we ordered an extra serving. The vegan jackfruit taquitos were a bit too deep-fried for our liking and didn't quite compare to the incredible tamales. To finish, we shared a caramel flan, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The pricing was very reasonable, the service was exceptional, and the food was memorable. We will definitely be back again if only for those amazing tamales!

Then someone else came up and they both started whispering and then told us that we would not be seated after all. We asked what had happened (was the kitchen too busy?) but were not told anything other than "she told us not to seat you". The secretive whispering made it a very confusing situation. We sat back down and waited some more. Eventually we got seated, but then the food took another hour to come after we ordered. We asked a few times for water refills but eventually gave up when it didn't come. The plus side - the FOOD. The mole sauce was really good, best I've had! Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
