Calm atmosphere with a chill vibe. It was a beautiful day out and the waiters and waitresses were really kind and never let our drinks run empty. They have a good amount of tables ranging from 2-6 People. Booths, tables, and picnic tables. I ordered a raspberry lemonade, Avocado egg rolls, And Hot honey traditional wings. The raspberry lemonade was just the right amount of tart. The Avocado egg rolls is just that, avocado in a crispy roll. The hot honey traditional wings, wow, the way they batter their wings and fry them is "chefs kiss" because the crispiness was still perfect with the sticky sauce. My only gripe would be their silverware was pretty dirty, I didn't use them for my meal but overall a good experience.

I absolutely love Laguna Beach and go into all establishments there with high expectations. Finney's Crafthouse has a prime location on PCH and the one thing I loved was our street-side table offering a front-row seat to the stylish locals, casual beach-goers, exploring visitors while enjoying the coastal breeze. Terran (sp?) was adorable and began serving with high energy and attentiveness. However, we had completely finished our appetizers and had no drink refills or ability to order another cocktail and simply felt abandonded. Upon her eventual return she appeared more flustered, took our meal and drink orders (which she forgot) and it just went downhill from there unfortunately. Since I was unable to get Terran's attention to inquire on the contents of my husband's cocktail, I had to go directly to the bartender. I was surprised at the lack of helpfulness and that instead of taking my question as a welcoming experience to show/explain how Finney's make this particular drink and help clarify why it may not have looked and tasted similar to what he was used to, this bartender immediately went on the defense and had an offensive attitude and made it in front of me to "prove" to me that all the ingredients were in fact included. It wasn't JUST about that. I have never experienced such a lack of customer service. (What I also felt immediately was that this was not the first time this particular concern regarding this same drink has come up.) As a former bartender myself, FYI, I am quite familiar with how drinks are made as well as proper bartender etiquette and behavior. My husband said this cocktail tasted "funny" not simply that this "one" ingredient may not have been included so I was in fact curious what the components were so I was very happy to let him make it in front of me. Needless to say, Finney's has a great airy casual atmosphere if you're looking for fun with big-screen tvs for sports with a massive variety of craft brews and a sizeable menu that includes many fun bar foods like wings, pizzas, tacos and tater tots. My husband and I also enjoyed competing against other locations on the tabletop trivia game. I may have had more of a positive experience if I went with different intentions and less expectations. But again, they're in Laguna Beach so... Very disappointed. :(

The ambiance here was alive! we sat at the bar after a long day at the beach! The bartender was very attentive to us! The coconut shrimp was amazing- def my fav! The wings were so crispy! We ordered them in the Cajun rub and asked for the buffalo sauce on the side! Tip for those who like extra crispy wings!! And the pizza hit the spot! The bbq chicken pizza was my fav! The sauce on there still has my mouth watering!!Def coming again! Brining more friends to help with the challenge of eating everything we order!:)

First time here at Finneys ,It was Great and I know I'll be back . We came in to have couple beers for the football games that were on last weekend So we had drinks it's a full bar and service was amazing didn't wait to long for a table and tables are nice with bench seating and table tops. Beautiful atmosphere and good people We came with friends and I'll be back with more sooner than later Cheers

Went for Father's Day. Was packed but only waited about 15 minutes. Everything we got was delicious! Philly, tacos, salad, fried pickles, wings. All excellent! Service was great as well. They even gave my fiance a koozie for Father's Day-such a sweet touch! If we are in the area again we will be back.

The happy hour was the best deal in town. One of the best grilled cheese and tomato soup I've had in my life for $7. Great draft beers. Our bartender Stephanie was awesome. Poured the beers great. They had like 30 drafts. Great ambiance. Clean. Highly reccomend.

I was conflicted between 4 & 5 stars. What was the deciding factor was going back for lunch the following day and the food & service was superb. Yesterday we stopped by for dinner and used the wait list feature on here (highly recommend). The service was honestly slow. Not so much our server, who later shared he was actually in the bar area far from us, but the others who would ask if we needed something then not come back with it. In terms of food, we shared the coconut shrimp appetizer based on my peers reviews on here! I agree they were good! For my entree I had the poke bowl which was decent. My husband had the salmon bowl which he wasn't so much of a fan of the quinoa. Now today for lunch, totally different story. Our server was awesome and attentive. I had the southwest bowl which was absolutely delicious. I also tried their blood orange mojito cocktail which was amazing! My husband had the finney burger he says was good and the tater tots - they are battered and BOMB! He shared them with me :) You definitely have to try this place. Good food, service and at a reasonable price!

The service was very slow, and my truffle fries order was mixed up with regular fries, which was disappointing. That said, the food itself was very good. The coconut shrimp appetizer was outstanding, and the BBQ chicken flatbread was also delicious. Very sports bar kind of ambience:) Good vibes and good beer,

We had an amazing dinner at Finney's Crafthouse in Laguna Beach. My triple burger was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The tater tots were probably the best I've ever had, I'd take down another large right now if I could. The atmosphere had a great energy without ever getting too loud. We were seated far enough from the bar to enjoy the buzz of people watching the games without being overwhelmed by the crowd. The open windows let in the ocean air and made the dinner even more enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend and come back! Prices were not crazy either! W all around.

After a nice Laguna Beach sunset, dined on to Finney's Crafthouse. Very nice American fusion restaurant. Seated right away no waiting on a Sunday. The place was filled with sports channels suited for Sunday night football. Our server Antonio was so nice and attentive. We ordered shrimp Bison Burger with fries, Ahi Poke Bowl, Mahimahi tacos, thin crust carpaccio with arugula pizza . The foods were delicious and freshly served. Very satisfying. Be back again once in Laguna.

So glad we stumbled in here. Tessa at the host stand greeted us with a smile and a friendly attitude, such a good start. Beer wise, they've got a great California draft lineup. I tried the Finney's Maple Brown (brewed in Laguna) malty, a little darker than my usual, but super smooth. I asked for a cider next and got kombucha by mistake (honestly, not bad!), but the cider ended up being my favorite. I love a crafted drink, but I always enjoy a draft beer. The wide variety they offer has something for everyone. I need to come back just to work through the taps. Eyeing the Cali Cream next time. Food: we came for the mini lobster rolls and they delivered, buttery with that subtle sweetness of the Hawaiian roll. The bacon and blue burger was juicy and packed with flavor; peppered bacon, blue cheese, crispy onions and yuzu buffalo. Owen, our server, was on it with recommendations and stayed attentive even during the rush. Eli, the assistant manager, checked in and surprised us with extra churros for dessert, crisp outside, soft inside. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual with TV's throughout to catch a game. Really enjoyed the friendly service, solid drinks, and tasty bites. We will definitely be back.

    Yummy alcoholic selections.

Great place to watch the game. The bar food is pretty good but it has great vibes by the beach.

    Is parking an issue?

Depends on the day. It is in downtown, so expect waiting a parking spot.

How long have you guys been open? We just found you!?

We have been open since March 2023

Does the restaurant have air conditioning? I went there when it first opened and it was very warm inside the restaurant but hoping that was a one-off experience.

Yes, they do have air-conditioning but the frontage is all open all the time so you might not feel it. But also, the several times I've been there. It's cool enough where we did not notice it being warm at all.

    Do you have outside seating?

    Yes we do.

    Are you guys dog friendly?

    Yes

What is wait time for 3?

Yes! We have tv’s all around the restaurant. We don’t play sound as we have our music playlist. But we play sports.

A quick tip before you go: parking is either available on the street (if you're lucky enough to find a spot) or through valet for $15. The restaurant is located inside the hotel, and once you enter you'll take the elevator down to Level 1, where you'll be greeted with beautiful ocean views. We had a reservation and were seated very quickly. While we waited for our table to be cleared, Ava, our host, was so sweet and personable. She took the time to chat with us, shared some of her favorite menu recommendations, and when she noticed us unsuccessfully trying to take a selfie overlooking the water, she kindly offered to take a photo for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel welcome. Throughout dinner, Jesse was assisting our table, and he was fantastic. He always seemed to appear at just the right time without ever feeling intrusive. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the evening. Our main server, Carson, was equally amazing. He was welcoming from the moment we sat down, incredibly attentive, and you could tell he genuinely cared about providing a great dining experience. His recommendations were spot on, he checked in on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever rushing us. The food was excellent. I absolutely loved the burrata salad, and my husband ordered the lobster bisque. At first, he thought the portion might be on the smaller side, but between the bisque and the bread, he ended up completely satisfied. Speaking of the bread--don't skip it! The butter, made with grass-fed cream, was absolutely incredible and made the appetizer even more memorable. Overall, Splashes exceeded our expectations. From the warm hospitality to the attentive service and delicious food, every part of the experience was exceptional. It truly deserves all of its five-star reviews. A huge thank you to Carson, Jesse, and Ava for making our evening so memorable. No notes, just a fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

The main patio was covered with umbrellas, so once you are seated for dinner, there was plenty of umbrellas for shade and heaters for when it got a little cooler. For our food orders, and as recommended by our server, we went with their seafood options and ordered their Pacific Ceviche for an appetizer and for Entrees my husband got the Roasted Halibut and me and my mother-in-law both got the Scallop and Shrimp pasta. They don't have a dessert menu, but they heard that we were celebrating mom's birthday so they brought us a little Toffee Cake to share and enjoy...and for a place that doesn't have dessert, the cake was pretty delicious. I ordered the scallop and shrimp pasta, and on my very first bite of the scallop, it had a strong ammonia taste--a common sign that seafood has gone bad. My daughter ordered the cioppino, and after checking the seafood in her dish, we noticed the scallop was also very rubbery and didn't seem fresh either. Fresh seafood is something restaurants should never compromise on. Based on this experience, I can't recommend eating here and would suggest trying another restaurant instead.

But after that, our server (the owner we were told) left, and another server introduced himself. The new server was inattentive. He sat chatting with the other servers at the bar, leaving empty glasses and empty plates on the table. We had to flag him to come back to fill water. Having been myself in the service industry for years, my biggest pet peeve is when servers sit and chat where you can see them, and when they do come, they don't do a sweep and take care of things on the table. We had to put our empty glasses and trash on a side table. It was weird. The bolognese had hardly any meat in it. It was mostly tomato and onion. I've been to Argentina. Meat is a staple. Also weird. We ordered dessert and after waiting for 5-10 minutes, the server came back and told us they were missing crucial ingredients to make it. The owner came back at the end and was really gracious, but all in all, I think the execution was lacking. The service was not great. Super moist. The place is really loud ambient wise when busy which was around 8pm which is normal of any popular place but after near closing around 9:30 is pretty quiet and casual on a Sunday. Total bill after a 21% tip ran me total $165 and I had leftovers. Free chips, 1 large giant appetizer, and 1 large entree could potentially feed 3 people if you don't eat a lot. If you don't wanna have leftovers, go easy on the chips but that's gonna be hard.

It's Laguna so parking can be difficult but it's possible to find metered parking on the nearby cross streets if you don't mind walking a little. We opted to use their valet parking but it's $6 per hour. The restaurant is surrounded by cute shops and there's an area where they have live music on certain nights. There are a decent amount of tables outside with umbrellas for shade. If you come for happy hour on a weekday, it's only available in the upper area by the bar. We came on a Tuesday for happy hour (3- 6pm), so cocktails were $2 off and starters were half priced. They don't have that many cocktails to choose from, so I just got their red Seasonal Sangria ($16). It didn't come in a wine glass which was a little odd but it was fine. We shared their Shrimp Ceviche ($23) and Bruschetta ($19). The ceviche was okay but the bruschetta was excellent. They also had taco specials (I assume because it was Tuesday) so they were $4- 5 à la carte. I tried the Mahi Mahi and Shrimp tacos and surprisingly really liked them. The Mahi Mahi tasted fresh and so did the corn tortillas. I would definitely come back for Taco Tuesday and anytime I'm looking to dine with an ocean view.
