If I could give zero stars I would! We had a HORRENDOUS experience at Finns. My 2 cousins and I sat upstairs to grab a bite and drink and watch the pre-hurricane waves. There were a group of 3 older guys maybe in their late 50's sitting behind us. My female cousin and I got up to go to the ladies room and one of the guys called me over. I could not hear what he was saying between his words slurring and the music being too loud so I proceeded to follow my cousin to the restroom. When I get back, another of the guys in the party is talking to our male cousin who we left at the table. I can see my male cousin is getting agitated, not knowing what had transpired while we were not there. Our food comes and the guy is still standing there! He finally leaves and we learn that after we left, one of the other guys from his table calls my male cousin a derogatory homophobic word, I do not want to even write the word!!!!! My cousin is not gay but he is an LGBTQ ally and was extremely offended that this man had the audacity to use that word! So we learn his friend came over to try to diffuse the situation. While we are eating this group of men continue to bait my cousin on and the last man in their party comes over to say "hi." We tell him we are just trying to enjoy our meal and to leave us alone. The men continue to bait my male cousin on by yelling to our table so I call over the waitress to tell her what is happening and she says she will get the manager since they were bothering her all night too. The manager comes over, we tell him what is happening and he says he will speak with them. He does and comes back over to our table and the men continue to yell and give us the middle finger behind the managers back. My male cousin will not stand for this and yells back and the manager tells him to leave, meanwhile the GROWN MEN at the other table continue with their rants and profanity. I will not stand for this any longer so I get the check and box up our food, all while the waitress is apologizing. The manager clearly kicked out the wrong people. They were belligerent bigots. If you are of the LGBTQ community or an ally, you should not support this business since the manager clearly allows BELLIGERENT BIGOTS who hurl derogatory homophobic rants. read more

The worst service experience I have ever had. After being there almost thirty minutes, I had to go to the bar to order our food. Waitress didn't check on us once. Took 20 minutes after we had finished eating just to get our check. Guys, if your food is going to be this subpar at least hire decent servers. read more

We have been to Finns many many times. Great ocean view but way over priced. $5-$6 beers & the food is just ok , like fast food.

Excellent oceanside biker bar with awesome sea view from the deck. We arrived in time for happy hour which meant draft craft beer for $2 (try the Laughing Skull Amber). We had the basket of fish and chips for $9.99 which was truly excellent. Live music, sea breeze and a sunset? It doesn't get much better. read more

First time here....I am a different foodie...so, I pay attention to appearance, taste and an over view of the place and wait staff. Its kool like most beach places to have drinks, relax and enjoy the view...to which this play nails it!!!! I was with my 2 children ages 6& 7...I had there veggie burger and it was pretty good..($10) One child had chicken fingers($5) and the other had adult claim strip basket.($9) All good and a nice portion of food...its pretty simple with a picnic style silverware... No splenda! Here is the issue...there sodas..we had three different flavor sodas..and all of them had a very bad after taste..I'm guessing it's the water system. Also, I ordered a tea and it tasted like nasty Lipton out of a can mix...NOT freshed brewed. It was nice but I dont think I will be there again read more

We waited over an hour and a half for our food. When we asked to speak to the mgr it took almost twenty minutes for him to come over. He then did nothing for us and took another twenty to decide that. He said the ticket time was only 40 minutes so that means for 50 minutes the waitress didn't turn the ticket into the kitchen. Will never go back and if you're in any type of hurry do not go here. Horrible customer service and mediocre food. read more

So we came in to the downstairs bar and sat at the table right as you come in. Waitress came to the table and said. Just so you know, before you even order food it's a one hour wait. So we left and went upstairs for a drink. The waitress up there said it was going to be 20 minutes and not sure why we were told that. We ordered and sure enough it was 21 minutes for food. We tipped her $40 between the 6 of us. So sorry the rude lady downstairs was just trying to run people off. read more

I went here at about 10 PM on a Friday and the atmosphere was very lively. They had Latin music playing and a bunch of people were dancing. I had a burger and it was amazing. My girlfriends had the fish n' chips which was also very good. Highly recommend. read more

Servers weren't the friendliest of ladies. Tried to order the drink special, however they were out of the ingredients. The drinks that I ordered were watered down. If I could I would leave 0 stars. The worst service we have ever received. We sat on the top deck with our puppy. Our waitress brought out a container of water for our puppy. We let her drink a bit and then took the water away, because being a puppy, she likes to stick her paws in her water, and obviously we don't want to encourage that behavior. My puppy is sitting peacefully on the bar stool, when the waitress comes over, reaches across us to get the container of water, and then dumbs the container of water on my dog's head saying "she wants to play" meanwhile, not listening to me order at all. After we eat, she comes over and asks if we can wait for our bill because she wants to go out and smoke a cigarette. Obviously I said no, I want my bill. Then I was rushed to pay my bill with her standing over me, because she wanted to smoke a cigarette. It also seemed to be an issue that we wanted refills on our drinks. I was so mad, I called the manager and he didn't even care. Will never go back, I had better service at Olive Garden when my waitress left before serving us. This place is awesome the views incredible the service is excellent upstairs and downstairs and the best spot Intown for football!!! Not to mention how good the food is although I have mainly only had the wraps which are delicious!!! Oh and did I mention they are dog friendly .... My two dogs love this place as much as we do!!! No stars. Not one. Finn's is horrible in every sense of the word. Yes, the view is great. The food is sub par. I've worked with world class chefs for 2 decades. The stoners in the "kitchen" at Finn's are deplorable and move like pond water. Management is crass, inadequate and remarkably uneducated. I was told by the lead server that they go through servers "like water". No one canget along with management. This is a fact. Five bartenders and you can't get a drink. 45 minute waits for cheeseburgers. Ridiculously over cooked fish. Awful. Just plain awful. read more

I had very high hopes for this place! It was a true mixture of really good and really bad. Location is amazing, upstairs seating has a great view. Our server seemed highly annoyed that I'm gluten free...I wasn't asking for weird things, just questions about the menu. My shrimp were not deveined, which was kind of surprising. My husband's burger was good...Neither one of us liked the bbq sauce very much. If the service would have been great, I would have excused all of these things, but it wasn't the best. My husband and I have both been in the industry for 15+ years. Hope they can pull it together and start to care a lot more. Great potential for the location and the building. read more

Our experience was only so-so. Our bartender was extremely friendly and I have no complaints about the service at all. But our food was nothing extraordinary. For the price (our bill was $50 for three meals at lunchtime) I would prefer not to be eating with plastic cutlery/thin paper napkins out of a cellophane package and drinking out of plastic cups, all of which blow around in the breeze when you sit outside. Really good grill here! My kids ordered off the children's menu and were stuffed. Kids' shrimp were jumbo size, hand battered shrimp and the kids' burger was huge. Had a great table downstairs overlooking the Atlantic beach and the many Harley Davidsons parked outside. Overall an outstanding spot for a meal or a cold beer! read more

Finn's is an awesome gastropub- can't sum it up any better than that. Stopped in on my way back from Daytona to St. Augustine, and had been wanting to try it out for a while. There's a great downstairs area with a huge bar set up, as well as a lot of smaller tables scattered throughout, with a big area set aside for live music. Very comfortable and clean with plenty of seating and easy access to the restrooms, and a TON of flatscreen TV's all tuned to your favorite sporting events. Upstairs is set up almost the same way, except it's completely open, and on nice Florida days, it's a perfect place to hang out, enjoy the cool ocean breeze from across the street, and enjoy some food and drinks. The top floor looked pretty busy, and had a live band playing, so we decided to eat downstairs and enjoy the college football games on TV. Bartender was superb. Attentive, friendly, and really took great care of us. Ordered a pitcher of beer and an order of beer battered cheesesticks for an appetizer. Pretty disappointed to see they didn't offer Sam Adams at all, but otherwise a decent beer selection. Cheesesticks were good, but didn't look homemade, which I was expecting. Ordered a Texan Burger for lunch, and it was pretty darn tasty. Came topped with ham, cheese, BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion, and I splurged and got the waffle fries for a side. Burger was cooked really good, tasted great, and the waffle fries were awesome. My girl ordered a Philly Cheese Steak with fritters for the side. Cheese Steak was really good, but the fritters left a lot to be desired. Overall, had a great time here. Service was awesome, food was really good (for a bar, don't expect gourmet meals here), and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Great place to stop and grab lunch, especially on a nice day when you can sit upstairs. Looks like it would be a lot of fun on the weekends with the live music and probably lots of people. The view is great! The food is not. The "famous fish sandwich" ($10.99) which I ordered blackened was spice colored oil covered tilapia. I'm still gagging. Went to Finns on Sunday night, not to many people at the upstairs. Ordered drinks, well we ordered drinks but received mixers no alcohol in any of the drinks. Tried to order food, had to wait at least 30 minutes to get bartenders attention. Food was wrong- ordered Quesadilla's received cheese & chicken or cheese & steak NO veggies. I ordered a shrimp wrap and larges fries for table, it would have been nice if the bartender when taking the order said that my wrap came with fries ... Almost didn't get a check, not till we were getting ready to leave . Others at the table received theirs earlier in the evening. Go for the drinks, not the food. This place is always packed, especially during Biketoberfest. It has a great view and is a fun place to hang out. Service is fast and friendly, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I got the philly cheese steak sandwich and it was more reminiscent of a steak um sandwich. Pretty much everything about this place was awesome. The atmosphere, the service, the location, the people, the live music, and best of all, the ocean view from the top deck. My boyfriend got the seafood platter which he loved, and I got the blackened shrimp wrap which was okay. They went a little too heavy on the greens and tomato, and got a little skimpy on the shrimp. Flagler Beach is a stones throw from Palm Coast (where we were staying) and decided to take a drive down the A1A. We came across Finnegan's just driving by and the second floor deck over looking the beach drew us in. We went on a Monday afternoon and they still had live music and a great atmosphere. We ordered the seafood sampler and it was above average. Definitely recommended. The deep fried scallop was phenomenal. If I ever vacation down there again I'll definitely try and get back to Finnegan's for another happy hour! read more

Nice upper deck bar. Had the sampler apps. Was ok. Not a very big selection of beers. All in all it was just ok.

The building here is gorgeous. We had drinks and apps on the rooftop. My date got crab bites. He liked them quite a bit. Commenting on the creaminess. We shared a basket of hush puppies that were rather tasty. I'm only giving 3 stars because it's not a fantastic place. The menu is ok, mostly fried bar food. It was the off season, so they were also out of supplies to make their signature cocktails, which was understandable but disappointing nonetheless. If you want a pretty view and like standard bar foods go for it, but I'm not going back. read more

Probably not the best time to review, because we were inside at 2:30 PM on a 60 degree day. Downstairs inside is a barroom with pool tables and jukebox. Good view of the beach across the street. We both had Mahi fish tacos served with tortilla chips. Soft tacos with good size frozen Mahi filets and salsa. I had a Sweetwater IPA draft. I rate the food as good as one can expect and better than alot of other places. Total price was $38 including four beers. I will definitely come back in warmer weather and go outside upstairs, which is what this place is all about. read more
