We ordered: Shrimp tempura Carpaccio (yellow tail) New York roll Spicy girl Side of fried onions And water, however the water tasted off so we ordered Sapporo Beer and it was GREAT it was cold cold and in a super cold glass! The only thing was the water tasting off and the bar chairs some don't have a back, so no back support we just switched chairs after someone left. We are going back tomorrow. read more

Alot of sushi places have different rolls but they sort of seem to have the same flavors. We got the crunchy deluxe roll, monster roll, and eagle roll. The crunchy deluxe was the most plain of the three but delicious just the same. The monster roll was all of our favorites. The caramelized onions really added to the roll and the flavors were crazy good. The eagle roll also was just as delicious as the others. Loved how they served it on the side with a tortilla chip in it!! Delicious. Tip: use the tortilla chip from the eagle roll and use the caramelized onions and sauce as a dip for the chip!! Amazing!!! Came here in a Monday evening and it was dead. We got seated right away. Service was fast and accurate. The decor of the restaurant was chill and very sleek and clean. The food was phenomenal. This was an our first time here and we will definitely be back. We ordered the crispy rice spicy tuna appetizer. Even though it was 2 pieces, it was giant. We ordered a battle roll and the white dragon. So SO good! LOVED the sauce and albacore on the white dragon roll. First time to this restaurant last night, and it's was great! At first the decor is underwhelming, but the food and service definitely made up for it. The service was fast and friendly and we were constantly checked on, which I liked. The owner was there and was assisting with taking dishes away from the tables. The food was so good! The ceviche was delicious and flavorful but the portion was kinda small. The New York New York roll was very good, loved the seared steak on top. The baked salmon roll was very good too, very fresh. We asked for a side of the 3 millionaire sauce and that was super good too. We were given miso soup automatically without ordering it which was nice because we were going to order them anyway. I believe you can tell the difference between an average sushi spot and a great sushi spot based on their rice... (freshness of fish of coarse, but hear me out) Average sushi spots, you take a cut roll and it either falls apart as you pick it up or after/when you dip it. Great sushi spots not only does this not happen, but the rice has a certain texture and flavor that elevates each bite. Fire-Fish is that spot. Everything seen in the pics was outstanding. Service was awesome and the interior was great to get together with family or friends. Great place for date night as well. Anytime I'm in Temecula, I'll have a tough time not grabbing a meal here. And by the way, the cost for quantity and quality makes me almost call it a bargain. (PS- I rarely give 5 stars on just one visit... I look for consistency to get those 5's) read more

Fire fish is authentic in decor, menu and service. The menu is arranged nicely. For example " tempura rolls", "fried rolls", "veggie rolls". We had good service, sat outside because it was a beautiful day. They should dress up the patio with pretty plants. Just a suggestion. We had excellent spicy scallop hand rolls. Yumm!!! Clean and great location. Service is wonderful here, and food was delicious. My only gripe is I really like a lot of salmon and scallop rolls, and they have them mixed with other fish, which is ok. This place hits the spot every time. My wife and I stop in every now and then for a quick bite. I'm always sure to get the Toro which is usually chutoro. It's the freshest I've had outside of Japan. Honestly, it might be comparable to some of the best chutoro I've had in Japan and definitely beats some of them. read more

I was really looking forward to some good sushi, but unfortunately, this experience was a big letdown. The rice was packed way too loosely and the presentation was mediocre at best. There was also way too much rice compared to the amount of fish, which completely threw off the balance of flavors. The fish itself tasted mediocre as well-- not particularly fresh and lacking any real flavor. Honestly, it felt rushed and carelessly thrown together (definitely no love into it). Sushi should be an art form, but this just felt sloppy. Definitely not worth the price, and I won't be coming back. It's definitely NOT the "Best Sushi" in Temecula as some claim to be. The spicy sauce drizzled over the plate was mild but bursting with sweet and tangy flavor which added to the overly taste nicely. Topped with baby micro greens celantro. Not only is the fish extremely fresh, but the selection of rolls, sushi, and main courses is exquisite, unique, and inviting. I must recommend the Refreshing Roll and Cilantro Albacore Roll...my favorites! To top the great food off, the owner (Mr. T) and the servers are very attentive and sincere. A special shout out to Megan and Alysa who address me by my name, truly care about giving the best service, and are friendly and outgoing. We went on a Sunday and take note that they close after lunch for a little bit and they open back up at 4pm. If you have a gluten allergy like me they have lots of options! The inside is a bit small compared to the outside and they don't have any sushi bar seats which can be a highlight. They brought out drinks and some free miso soup to start, we ordered off their large menu (both sides), and got some sushi and appetizers. Everything came out quickly, and they constantly checked on us. The sushi was pretty good but the hand rolls just sort of fell apart and they did mess up a couple of the sushi items but they fixed it very quickly. One of my favorite places to go on a lunch date with my husband. First thing they do when you get sat down is give you free miso soup. I love it when a restaurant does that! Their ived green tea is top notch! Spicy garlic edamame hits too! Has such a ymmu roasted nutty flavor to it! This last time we tried the crispy rice with spicy tuna on top and I LOVED it!! Wish I would have took photos! So pretty AND yummy!! We also got the fresh roll A+ and the majestic roll i think it was called? It was a baked roll. We loved EVERYTHING and will continue to come back for lunch dates. WOW! Fire-Fish is amazing, and an absolute must go to here in the Temecula Valley if you love sushi. My wife and I have tried to come here a few times for dinner, but always ended up bailing because of how busy it was. Tonight we came a little bit early around 5:00 and we're able to sit right down with no wait (wife and I plus 1 high chair). Everything we had tonight was so incredibly good. Now... Don't get me wrong, I LOVE sushi, and most sushi is good. But EVERYTHING we had at Fire-Fish was GOOOOOOOOOD! ! ! All of the fish was super fresh, the little pieces on the side that you normally don't even pay attention to like the sauces and the garnish were all really tasty, and the presentation was absolute artistry! After having sushi here tonight, I have to admit that if I go anywhere else I will be judging it against everything we had at Fire-Fish! P.s. I really recommend ordering fresh made wasabi and plum wine to go with your meal. I've never had fresh made wasabi before tonight, and I know I will be ordering it every time going forward.
