This was a little place in a shopping center that we decided to stop at when craving sushi. I can see why they call it Fire Fish because the spicy tuna was super spicy! Haha. Good, but a touch too hot for my personal preferences. Sometimes I really like trying spicy tuna just because everyone's take on it is so different. This one was whew spicy spicy I did really like the salmon and thought it tasted delicious though. I would have liked a touch more avocado on my roll though - I actually forgot it was on it until I tasted a little. Got the lunch special and it came with miso soup and salad. It was a perfect amount for one person wanting to grab a bite. This restaurant has got an artsy vibe inside and I enjoyed sitting inside with the cool air when it was so hot out. The music was chill and kind of gave me cool coffee shop vibes and I enjoyed that! Nice vibe and lots of parking outside. Glad I tried.

Sushi was very tasty but it did seem to be more pricey than other places The edamame was slightly over done. The miso was very tasty. And overall it was delivered well packaged and sealed. I'm not sure if I would order again. The mussels were not my favorite, the sauce used was too thick that it over powered them. They had some good items but 3 out of the 4 items were lacking something.

I stumbled across Fire Fish Sushi just searching up food places while my clothes were washing and drying at the laundromat. I noticed that the Yelp reviews were all pretty much 4 stars and above and the sushi pics looked solid! So, I ended up driving about 5 mins from the laundromat to the spot. Even though it's located in another shopping center, the parking was a little tough. As I walked in, I was quickly seated at the bar but the place was pretty packed. It's a small sushi restaurant with a bar area and waitresses are running around trying to take care of the customers. It seems like it's a famous local sushi restaurant because I noticed on my way out, people were pretty packed waiting by the door in the inside and a few families were sitting outside waiting to be seated. I ordered a salmon, yellowtail and scallop hand roll and pork gyoza. The sushi was so fresh and good and the gyoza was crispy and juicy every time I bit into them. I usually don't drink my miso soup but for some reason, I tore that miso up. The place was clean, they had a tv in the corner playing a game and there was music in the background. It's a cool little spot and the sushi is legit! I highly recommend checking this place out but I can see it getting packed very quickly due to the size of the restaurant. They do have a patio for outdoor seating but it wasn't being utilized that night. I'll be back for sure! OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

Ate here for a quick lunch and came an hour before closing. I wasn't going to order anything else besides a roll anyway, but the waitress probably took 20 minutes to jot my order down, then mentioned that it was already the last call for anything. I ordered the Refreshing Roll, which includes tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado with thin sliced jalapeno, lemon and refreshing sauce on top. A miso soup was given which I always appreciate! The quality of the fish was there, as well as presentation. It was soy paper wrapped, then wrapped with rice to hold the fish together. I loved the roll and thought it was a good ratio of rice to fish. I would take note of Fire Fish Sushi if I was in the Temecula area again and come back to try more fish!

This place is absolutely phenomenal! I came here with my family while they weren't in town for the first time and their fish was so fresh. We were all super surprised. We got the combination sashimi special anyways to die for. I can't wait to come back.

OK, back at it with another review of this place. We absolutely love it.! This is our go to spot for date night or a quick lunch you can eat inside or you can eat outside as well. Ambience is a 10 service is a 10 and the food is well over at 10 lol definitely recommend this place a 100xs over!

I can't say that I'm a sushi expert by any means, but this spot has some great sushi! I first tried Fire Fish probably close to 10 years ago when my co-worker shared some of her lunch with me, and I remember it being delicious! Fast forward to now, I stopped by for the first time and had yet again, another great experience. The inside is a little small and cozy, but the service is great, and quick! I ordered a refreshing roll and it was fantastic... definitely want to make it back more often

Great price and quality for sushi in Temecula! Service is pretty standard and the vibe is pretty chill. They have a good assortment of rolls and are all made pretty well. The ratio between the rice is good and not excessive too so well made. This is located in a plaza so a good amount of parking and there's also 87 Deg Bakery that is worth checking out to grab some stuff afterwards.

Great sushi! We had the 3 millionaire and loved the saucy sauce. And the Philadelphia roll which had hearty amounts of cream cheese. And the magic mountain! Very fun and delicious. Great service. Good atmosphere. Definitely recommend for a nice date spot or just a quick roll on a lunch break. Mmmmmm!

We went to Fire Fish last time we were in Temecula and really enjoyed it. We decided to come back for our most recent trip and were disappointed. The sushi itself tasted fresh but the service was really what made me not want to come back again. We ordered an appetizer and two sushi rolls (New York New York and Sushi Lover). Our sushi was pretty good and we had finished and were empty on waters and awaiting our bill when our appetizer came out well after we had finished our food. Our server did not apologize for the wait or make any remarks, we also noticed we were not the only ones having poor service. I noticed others were flagging down their server or even getting up to grab napkins and chopsticks. I could see this being a better option for takeout but would not recommend dining in due to the poor service.

We love Fire Fish. The staff is always wonderful and the food is always great. We came in to celebrate a big victory and ordered salmon sashimi, miso and the all in one no rice roll. I think that might be my new favorite no rice roll! It was so good. They were out of Ramune and ice tea but that's OK we came in an hour before closing so it wasn't a huge deal. The food was amazing and we love the new menus. We will definitely be back again, as this is one of our favorite spots. Inside was clean and we were seated right away, they were pretty busy busy still had room for smaller parties.

We ordered a few hand rolls, Salmon Sashimi, and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice. Everything was pretty good, and the fish tasted clean and fresh without anything coming across as overly fishy. For Temecula, I do think Onori has some of the better fish quality in the area. That said, compared with sushi and hand roll spots I've tried outside of Temecula, I didn't find the quality especially memorable for the price point. At this price, I was hoping the freshness and overall experience would stand out a little more. I think Onori is a solid option if you're craving raw fish and want to stay in the area. Personally, it's not something I crave often enough that I'd go out of my way to return, but I can see myself coming back when I specifically want sushi or hand rolls nearby.

Everything came out quickly, was fresh, and tasted great. The ramen and rolls were especially enjoyable, and there wasn't much left behind except for the broth. The only item that missed the mark for me was the Garlic Edamame. It was coated in quite a bit of sauce, which ended up overpowering the flavor of the edamame itself. I'd recommend ordering it with less sauce or asking for it on the lighter side if possible. Overall, the prices were reasonable, the food was good, and the service was attentive. There's something honest about a new sushi spot finding its footing, and Toro Sushi leans into that simplicity in the best way. No gimmicks, no overreaching, just clean cuts of fish, thoughtfully plated, and priced like they actually want you to come back. The sashimi (even the "small") punches above its weight, fresh, clean, no nonsense. You taste the ocean, not the freezer. That's already half the battle won. The sleeper hit here is the bento box. It's the kind of meal that reminds you value still exists, generous without being sloppy, filling without feeling like a compromise. The kind of plate that earns repeat business. Come in around 5:30 and it's still catching its breath. By 6, though, the place finds its pulse, busy, lively, the kind of energy you want in a neighborhood spot that's clearly starting to click. Service was kind, and quick, food came out decent too. The tempura shrimp and veggies was crisp and not too oily. The room itself? Polished. Modern. Spotless. Someone cares, and it shows. But like any place finding its stride, there are gaps. The men's restroom is a one-person situation, and if you've got a kid, you're out of luck, no changing table in the men's room, us millennial dads are not afraid of a poppie diaper. Not a dealbreaker, but a miss in a family-heavy area. Still, Toro Sushi doesn't try to be the loudest spot in the room, it just quietly does enough things right to make you want to return.
