We decided on the lunch special since it's such a great deal! It's 14.99 for choice of two rolls and a miso soup. Some specialty rolls are a $4 add-on. I ordered a house salad and the lunch special with a lemon roll and spicy tuna roll. Everything tasted great! The house salad was a great portion and the sushi was fresh. I didn't care for the salmon maki roll, and one of the nigiri's I nearly spat out. It wasn't chewable. I asked which one it was and our server didn't know. However, the other nigiri were good. Service was good too. I'd definitely come back here and stick to the one nigiri I really liked and try a ramen. Also be careful - the floors are extremely slippery. My brother and I both shared a number of plates off their Lunch Special menu: honey walnut shrimp $14.49 and Chicken Katsu $12.99, both included a bowl of miso soup and rice. We also shared the "Pick any two rolls" among their list of rolls for $14.99, although we both picked rolls that were $4 extra each. Everything tasted great and was executed nicely. The size of the shrimp was big and hearty and the coating held up well. Sushi, gyoza, and edamame were all good too. Washed it all down with the tasty warm miso soup. Only complaint was the katsu pieces were so thin, almost like French fries! Made it a little dry. I prefer thicker pieces and maybe pork would've had more flavor. No complaints about service! Came here for my boyfriend's birthday and we were super disappointed . The sushi rolls were completely drenched in sauce to the point you could barely taste the actual sushi. We had to take some sauce off but still couldn't enjoy it. On top of that, I found a hair on my roll which completely ruined the experience for us. Our order was ready and packaged up nicely when we arrived about 10-15 minutes later. When I try new sushi places I get a Rainbow Roll (8 pieces) to check the quality of their fish. I was very impressed with the freshness. There was no fishy smell and the fish was light. The Shrimp Tempura Roll (6 pieces) was tasty. The shrimp tempura was crispy and cooked well. Their lunch special of 2 rolls plus for $14.99 is a really good deal! If you order special rolls it's about $2-$4 extra. My order came out to $18.99 plus tax because I chose the Rainbow Roll (+$4 extra). I would definitely come back for sushi. I look forward to trying more of their items. Remember, you're in Temecula and not Convoy or Kearny, so keep an open-mind when you're going to local Asian eateries here. That being said, this is our favorite local sushi spot in the area and its close to our house, so its become a quick favorite. We've been coming here since their pre-opening and ever since, I think it's just gotten better and better. We only ever order nigiri and rolls, sometimes the occasional hot app and they've all been great. Of course some days are going to be better than others but for us, they've all been great. The service is awesome and someone is always coming around to take your order, refill, check in on you etc. It's very homey but definitely got the fun vibe with the art and floral wall. Everyone always seems to be in a good mood and they're overly helpful so you're never really left waiting. This was my first time at Osaka House in Temecula. The restaurant was clean and had nice decor. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box, miso soup was good with small pieces of tofu. The presentation of the bento box was nice. It came with plenty of dark meat chicken, tempura, Asian salad, and one scoop of rice. It was almost 20 dollars. The tempura was light and crunchy but a little greasy like they reused the oil several times. This place is pretty good, I've had better but still looking for a Japanese owned restaurant place in Temecula the owners here were Chinese.Havent tried the sushi maybe I'll try it next time.The California rolls fell apart when grabbing them with chopsticks. read more

Dined at Osaka House tonight after my husband found them on yelp. The restaurant was fairly busy, with most tables occupied, but we were seated quickly. We decided not to order sushi because every single roll was either a California roll or a shrimp tempura roll. We ordered the gyoza appetizer and I ordered a miso ramen. Both arrived very quickly. Almost too quickly. The appetizer arrived without a dipping sauce or plates, so we had to ask for both. The gyoza was nothing special. The ramen was a total disappointment. It could've been a bamboo shoot ramen because that is mostly what was in the bowl. The soup just had an off taste, the noodles tasted like Top Ramen, the pork was rubbery, and the broth was very salty. There are a couple of ramen places in town that are definitely worth checking out. In my opinion, Osaka House is not one of them. read more

If I could give her 5 stars just for the service I would but my star review is based on the food only. We always come for the sushi, appetizers, and cold beers but we wanted to try something else on the menu after camping in the cold San Bernardino mountains over the weekend. We returned to try their ramen this past Sunday (September 7, 2025) and man..we were so disappointed. How does a restaurant have ramen in the title, yet, have the worst ramen ever? I would rather make instant ramen at home. The broth was so boring and overly salted with a water like consistency. It just didn't have the umami we were craving...I grew up not wasting food so we ate it anyways and took the leftovers home. The food: I have not tried the Ramen yet. I always get sashimi salmon every place I go. They cut thick pieces of Salmon sashimi, not long but very good portions for $10. Cold and fresh!! Delicious Then I tried the lemon roll, but I don't do crab ever I had it substituted with spicy tuna inside. I got extra Japanese sauce on the side and it was absolutely. Delicious!! The Japanese sauce is a soy sauce with a tank and it's very good. I already want to go back for more. Photos are uploaded. I don't have a photo of my other role because I was so hungry. I started eating and didn't take the photo. But that was my own creation, no crab, spicy tuna, and salmon inside with avocado and green onion topped with salmon and ponzu sauce, very very good! This place has a big menu & lots of seating available. The hostess was having difficulty understanding me when I asked about which of the ramens did not have pork base broth. There was a bit of a language barrier, so another person got called over to help but his English wasn't very good either. After a few minutes we were able to determine that only 3 of the listed ramens do not have pork broth. So if you're not a pork eater, their ramen selection is very limited. The portions were huge! On a whim, my boyfriend and I decided to take a trip outside of San Diego County. We had no plans for the day and spontaneously picked a random restaurant to try out. We ended up at Osaka House Ramen & Sushi. This is only the second week of their grand opening. The menu offered a large variety of sushi, rolls, hot and cold cooked food, as well as ramen and udon. My boyfriend ordered the Osaka House Ramen and I ordered from the lunch menu. For the lunch menu, I selected the salmon cucumber roll and a lemon roll. The lemon roll was a $3 upgrade. For $14.95 (+ $3), my selection came with a bowl of miso soup, side salad, an egg roll, and 2 fried gyozas. The salad was fresh and came with a refreshing dressing. The gyozas and egg rolls were good, piping hot with a sweet and sour dip. The miso soup was overly salty and lukewarm. I did not enjoy it at all. There were 2 small pieces of cold tofu and no seaweed to be found. As for the rolls, the salmon was fresh, but the rice was undercooked (some pieces were borderline raw), which gave a rolls a weird texture. The ramen was a bowl of disappointment. The noodles were over cooked and a bit mushy in texture. The meats were heavily seasoned and very salty. The broth was just ok. The restaurant was new, so it was very clean and nicely decorated.
