Fortunately, they're open until 10 so we snuck in around 9:15 for dinner and we're easily sat and helped We tried the edamame as a starter and ordered the hibachi chicken with rice and veggies and the yellow curry with chicken and veggies. Yes, yes, yes and yes! This little hole in the wall joint is LIFE! It's very understated from looking from the street. As soon as I walked in it was packed. Every table filled and standing room waiting for orders. I selected the chicken teriyaki and it came out in a to go Styrofoam box filled to the brim. I came here back in 2023, least to say I had the best customer service experience and enjoyed the food here so much. The restaurant ambiance was great as well. Thankyou for the great hospitality. I have never forgotten it, that day I went in we had tried to go to another restaurant close by an Italian spot and they denied us entry saying the restaurant was fully booked yet the next couple that came in had no reservations and were seated. The hostess was a young girl that looked around at the half empty restaurant, with 4 open booths and said there was no seating for one. Fresh rolls were huge and were bland. There wasn't much creativity with the sushi rolls. I went with the Forsyth roll, which was was basic. It was about what I expected it to be for an Asian fusion. I picked up Togo, staff were friendly. I will say the dumplings were good, I asked for them steamed instead of pan fried. The tuk tuk noodles wasn't anything special, it was basically lo mein with a thicker noodle. I thought with the name it was going to be different in taste. It was a big portion and I asked for it to be made spicy. It just tasted like they tossed it in a type of soy and a bunch of their "chili oil" which is not spicy at all I might add. The veggies were quite over cooked but the noodles had at least a good texture. The only thing that helped give these noodles some flavor was the yum yum sauce they give you on the side. Made a reservation weeks ago for a birthday and on the day of the reservation they called saying that it was unable to happen and they couldn't fit our party even though when we originally made the reservation they said it was possible. Fire is pretty good. Not fire, but not bad. My husband and I love Asian fusion cuisine and saw this while running errands downtown so we stopped in. Their menu is appealing due to the variety. They have pho, hibachi, sushi, miso soup, etc. We got the teriyaki chicken meal with fried rice, pan seared dumplings, and the Johnson roll. The roll was spicy tuna which was pretty good- I like grocery store sushi though and it was comparable. The dumplings were my favorite thing we got. Service was normal- nothing to complain about! Nice little asian fusion spot on king street close to the charleston place hotel and shops. Sushi came with soy sauce in a togo cup for dining in a bit odd. The pho was flavorful with a fair amount of brisket. Traditional bean sprouts, jalapeños and mint provided. Servers never checked in to see if everything was good they just drop the food and move on. We couldn't figure out where we wanted to eat late last night and didn't want to spend too much money since we'd already had an appetizer somewhere else. We walked by here and thought it would be good. The restaurant isn't exactly the cleanest and to food isn't exactly the highest quality that you may be used to in Charleston but it was pretty good, especially for the price. My husband and both ordered a drink and entree and shared a roll, all for about $50. It's almost impossible to get all that anywhere else. I even opted for the duck, which was a thigh portion but I really liked it. The curry was good and the vegetables were fresh. The roll wasn't very fancy but they had some that sounded really good to choose from. At under $10 for a roll, the price was right. Our server was nice and the food came out pretty quick. This looks like one of the hot spots for the college kids, probably because it is so affordable and it's pretty darn good. Came here to on a Sunday afternoon with a friend to wait for the Christmas parade on King Street. The prices were really good for the portion sizes and I believe the cheese wontons are the best I've had among places in Charleston. The owner was also really sweet and so was my server. I ordered the veggie spring rolls and the Hibachi Chicken entree. Everything was cooked really well and when paired with yum yum sauce, soy sauce, and teriyaki sauce for flavor it is a great meal. My veggies were cooked all the way through with a little bit of crunch for texture. Overall I think this a great place to grab a quick dinner or lunch if you work downtown. Trips to Charleston are a lot more taxing than it seems as we did so much walking and found ourselves quickly exhausted. We needed some food and after some debate we decided on trying out this restaurant. Upon entrance, I liked how the restaurant was setup with the kitchen right next to all the booths. I ended up ordering the chicken egg rolls as an appetizer but we were not much impressed by them. For the main course, I order the beef hibachi. The food came out in prompt time and I dug right in. The rice was delicious but the beef was rough and dry which threw off the whole dish. The restaurant itself was alright but not on par with other asian restaurants I have had in Charleston. Writing this review after eating a lunch delivered by Door Dash. I ordered on the app and the meal arrived in about 15 minutes. Not bad at all. I ordered the Pad Thai, and it arrived warm. Noodles, chicken, egg, sprouts, cilantro, and peanuts. All the things you'd normally expect in a Pad Thai. My only concern, is that it was super dry. With pasta, sometimes it'll dry out if left alone for a while, or if the delivery was slow. This delivery was quick, so it wasn't the drivers fault for getting lost or taking the scenic route. The chicken was dry. The noodles were dry. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever eaten. I may try again, but will get something else. read more

My curry was yummy and just what I needed after traveling and having not so good curries. Some of the zucchini pieces could've been cooked longer. I couldn't finish my meal even though it was the smallest but it definitely was filling don't let the size fool you with all the yummy veggies. My boyfriend enjoyed his teriyaki chicken for $9.25 and ate it all without any leftovers. My friend was craving pho and she happily said it hit her cravings. She ate all of her pho without a trace as well. Safe to say we truly enjoyed this place. Fast. Cheap. Great music.
