I have them to smog my vehicles but no more. Looks like newer owners as I have not had a smog in several years. Previously I would go in without the coupon but they would give me the coupon price but yesterday he says no coupon then full price. I say what ever just do it. So for an extra $30 they do registration I say let's do it. The last straw was after everything is done he says since it's over $400 I have to charge your credit card an extra 3%. Now I've been charged extra for not spending enough but over $400 is ridiculous. So I got screwed by California and Firehouse Smog. $900 by California and $133 by Firehouse Smog. Won't be back or recommend as I always did!! read more

Went to get my Camry smogged last Saturday since the registration was due soon for my car. The man doing the smog was extremely friendly and even though there was a bit of a wait I was able to park my car in the parking lot and the man came back to let me know that I can bring my car forward to get the smog completed. I was also able to use a groupon that I found online to assist with the cost of the smog. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely come back again for my other cars. read more

The smog didn't take long but service member behind the checkout desk was extremely rude. I gave a 2 star because though they won't charge if you fail your smog they charge $85 for the smog which is very high compared to competitors who charge $50 to $60. Thanks for the smog. read more

Went in as a walk-in. The technician immediately took my car in and the man in the office helped out with my paperwork. I came in around 2pm with no wait, but it immediately lined up with 2-3 more folks needing assistance. I like that they have options for both walk in and appointments. They also took care of my registration tags for $25, in addition to my registration costs and smog test. Overall was there for about ~30 minutes. Will be back for the next smog! read more

Was recommended by a co worker to go here, I went in with my Infiniti G37s (02/08/23) I had aftermarket intakes and the worker instantly asked me for the number, I found it and he then told me "your cats are wrapped, no shop will pass you, I'm just warning you" I told him they are stock from a Nismo, he then claims "Nissan Nismos don't make a smog legal cats.." he told me he was just warning me and to go to a somewhere else because it won't pass. LITERALLY brought it to the next shop, ZERO questions asked, passed with flying colors! Lazy workers OR they just don't know what they are talking about. Don't go here UNLESS you have a Honda or something easy lol. read more

Dominick took care of us at Fire House Smog. We needed a place to smog our vehicle and found them on yelp. We were in and out within 20 minutes. Dominick was efficient and very curteous even at 8 am! They have free coffee and drinks in the waiting area as well as a tv, tons of magazines and kids books. Toy fire trucks too! He gave us the discount for checking in on yelp! Came here for a smog check - fast service, friendly staff. I was in and out right away. They usually have deals on some services available on Groupon/yelp. My only complaint is that the waiting area needs a serious makeover.... old chairs, old toys, old magazines and a lingering smell of cigarettes that made it difficult to wait for my service to be done. read more

This is my new favorite place to get a smog test!!! The service technician was very experienced because he was able to complete the entire test within 20 minutes! Customer service was beyond excellent! I completed a quick service order with my info and the service desk was quick to process my transactions. When it was time to pay, the transaction was completed in less than a minute! Not all quick services are pleasant but the service at Fire House Smog was the best I've had! After reading many stellar reviews on Yelp about Firehouse Smog, I decided to take my car there today for a smog check. I was immediately greeted as I walked in the door. As I gave the person in the office the information they needed, the technician began the smog check. I was also offered coffee, water or a soda while I waited. I think I waited about 10 minutes and my car was finished. I decided to pay my DMV registration fee here so I could leave there with my new registration and the sticker for my license plate. Overall, the people here are friendly, easy to deal with and very efficient. I also appreciate the convenience of bring able to take care of my DMV paper work here. I will, without a doubt, come here next time I need a smog check as well as tell all of my family and friends to take their cars to Firehouse Smog. read more

Nothing bad to say about this place. Honestly the best smog station I have ever dealt with. I took my car here after being failed a while back. They were knowledgeable and actually told what I needed to do before they even tested it so that I would have a failure. I returned after getting a new catalytic converter installed. Unfortunately because it was brand new an didn't have any miles on it, they informed me that it again, wouldn't pass. I ran the car for a few days, returned, and it passed no problem. Everyone I had contact with was nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. I wish I could give more than just 5 stars. The cherry on top at Fire House smog, is that they offer DMV services. I paid my registration with them for a small fee and received my tags on the spot. They saved me a trip to the DMV. Anyone who needs a smog, I highly recommend these guys! read more

2011 mercedes gl550. Before i got the test i explained i just reset the odb with a meter. They recommended driving for at least 100-200 miles then come back, otherwise ot woukd fail the computer memory test. I did just that and cam back a week later. They were quick. In and out in 15 min.
