I had an excellent experience here! I was a bit skeptical after reading some reviews, and left pleasantly surprised. We did come on a Monday night, however, so it was not very busy. First of all, I loved the location at the Anaheim GardenWalk. Parking is easy here and the restaurant even validated. Servers were all pretty friendly and attentive as well. They have a full bar and a wide variety of drinks to choose from. The layout here is similar to Mongolian bbq...but next level! They have such a wide variety of self-serve noodles, toppings, meats, and sauces. Not only can you make bowls, but they have hamburger patties and a salad bar as well. The options are really endless! One thing I really loved was chatting with the cooks. One of the guys working saw our bowls and suggested his own flavor combo...it ended up being so good! They also made the experience fun with fire and juggling (gave me teppanyaki vibes for sure). I especially loved this spot for my daughter because she is pretty picky, and she loved making her own custom noodle bowls!!! So overall, I had a 5 star experience. I will definitely be back!

Visited on a Saturday evening the center wasn't busy as I thought. Called made a reservation but wasn't necessary when arriving. Ordered all u can eat 25.99 not including drinks. Ernesto was my server very pleasant and detailed. The environment was calm and relaxing. Food and drinks were just right.

I tried out Fire + Ice at the Garden Walk in Anaheim and it was certainly an experience! It is a Mongolian style restaurant and you get to pick out the food you want cooked and the grill chef will cook it for you. There are a variety of base noodles from pasta to ramen style, as well as different veggies and proteins you can add to your custom dish. It's a great place for multiple diets as they have many options. I made a stir fry noodle with the Szechuan sauce, which was so tasty, so I recommend trying it on your food if go. I should add that there are other cooked items you can order from the menu such as steamed rice to go with your dish and other appetizers. This is a great place for a family lunch or din, especially if you're planning on eating a lot. The service is great and there's a fair amount of space on the inside. You can park in the Garden Walk structure and get your parking validated at the restaurant for a certain amount of time. Check it out if you can!

They could get so much more business if they changed their approach to seating. We were there on a Saturday night around 6pm. They don't allow reservations for parties smaller than 4 people. Up to a third of the restaurant was empty while we were there, because it was perpetually reserved. And the kitchen was not overly busy while we were there. So there was no pacing required. They should just let all of the customers in! There was a line of people waiting to be seated. Lots of potential walkby traffic was lost due to seeing that line. They should break up all the tables into more modular smaller tables that can accommodate smaller parties or be joined together for larger parties. In fact I would argue they shouldn't even take any reservations at all. The mall was busy with lots of walkby traffic. While you're waiting to be seated, you can't even get a drink at the bar. In fact the bar counter itself is reservation only. I've never seen such a thing! They could have sold an extra 3 drinks to our party of 3 while we were waiting. Revenue lost. In fact they should turn their front patio into a drinking only section and let everybody who is waiting be able to hang out there with a drink. If they don't want them approaching the kitchen while they're waiting to be seated then they can control that by having waiters distribute empty bowls to seated tables. That way unseated people will be prevented from getting food prematurely. In fact there was an enormous line nearby of people waiting to get into the House of Blues. If this restaurant's front patio would be converted into a drinking only area, standing only, and people knew they could quickly get in and out for a quick drink without any seat assignment, before the show, then lots of money could be made just on alcohol sales alone. They established a counter intuitive approach to take your loaded bowl of ingredients to the cooks in a counter clockwise fashion. Customers are loading up their bowls with ingredients in a clockwise fashion. Then 2 bottlenecks occur. 1st the customers pause to figure out where to go to get to the cooks. 2nd they realize they need to double back towards the direction they came, walking against the flow of traffic in a counter clockwise fashion to get to the correct spot for the cooks. They should have the cooks operate counter clockwise, and let the customers operate clockwise. In fact there's one more bottleneck... customers get utterly confused once they get to the sauce station. If there was anyway to establish an additional sauce station, or a double sided sauce station with traffic on both sides, or have a big chalkboard above the sauce station with recommended recipes of sauces, or provide flyers with recipes of sauces when customers are seated and then they can take some time familiarizing themselves with the sauces before they get out of their seat, or have one of the staff who are reloading ingredients to also provide recommendations to customers about how to tackle the sauces. There are many streamlined efficiencies to be had, and more money to be made. If for some reason this restaurant doesn't survive, it's their own doing. Food is generally good. Asian style seems to be the best. Italian style... the cream sauce is absolutely flavorless and you definitely have to sprinkle in their various seasonings to kick it up a notch. The cooks have a variety cheeses they can add for you, including shredded Parmesan. But they don't mix in the Parmesan while cooking. Perhaps you can ask them to do so. Otherwise they just sprinkle it on top at the end. Mexican style is also an option with tortillas available.

Came here on a Saturday night with three of my dear friends - had to wait around 15 min, but we were walk in on a busy night so that was expected. This is a buffet style restaurant, which is great for people who can eat a lot (not me lol). Despite my limited tummy space, I was still able to snag a couple of nice dishes - one Alfredo pasta dish in which I put steak and onions (there are toppings at the buffet bar you can put on after) and a burger (you can grab a hamburger patty at the bar and then when you come to the cook station they will have buns and veggies available). Only bummer is that you have to pay for fries separately, so I just got some potato salad instead. Overall a very pleasant and fun experience! Really appreciated how hard working the cooks were, it can't be easy juggling all of the different orders and making sure of minimal cross contamination. They were very nice as well :)

Wish I had a good experience, but I received an unwelcome vibe. I made a quick stop here hoping to grab some beers while waiting for a friend to go to a show next door at the House of Blues. Thought it would be real cool to just check this place out and grab a cold one, maybe an appetizer. My first impression was of a waitress at the front working the day of the Exodus show who was right away rude when I asked if they had a bar. She responded by telling me they do, but she can't help me, and if I want to go to the bar, I have to go sit myself, and the bartender will help me. Okay, at least be nice about it. I ended up just skimping on the appetizers. I was no longer really in the mood to eat; if anything, I was afraid to ask more questions because she would just respond unkindly. As I was sitting, I noticed she gave attitude to a lot of showgoers who wanted the same thing, and many of them left when she spoke to them, almost like she did not want to deal with them. Rude! Anyways, I got my beer, and the bartender himself was actually cool. He was kind, not the lady up front. I wish I got her name, but oh well. I got myself a bit buzzed before the show for a good price. Those venue drinks are not it!

Honestly not a bad place to eat. They have good hours they are open, their servers are all kind, and their selection for food is vast while also not breaking the bank. I think the food quality suffers sometimes when it's a little more busy. My first trip was great, my second the food felt a bit over done in some parts and underdone in others which was unfortunate but also my only complaint and I would still come back It's a fun experience similar to Benihana where you watch your food be cooked and that's always a fun vibe in a restaurant

What a cool concept! All you can eat, Korean bbq. You have a 2 hour time limit. But you can go back as many times as you'd like within that 2 hour window. For the price, it's a steal! I am so happy that they have vegetarian options. They have tofu and beyond meat. Lots of veggies available in the bar. The salad bar looks fresh. All of the toppings are delicious. You basically pick your bowl, load it with toppings, grab a sauce, and then they cook it in the center for you. The food is bomb. It's fun to make your own creations.

If you're looking for a place to gather with a large group of friends that have wide spectrum of food choices, then this is the place! They're a semi-buffet Mongolian bbq fusion. You pick your food and bring it to a grill to be cooked. The fun part is you can get very creative with your choices. Service is good and friendly. I highly recommend to have a reservation as it does get busy. There's also drinks and appetizers that you can order. Price is very affordable and numerous food choices. If it's your birthday, they will also light up the grill area after your bday song.

Jenny is amazing so great and nice and full of energy. Ask for her when you come in!! Fernando is rad! Best on the grill amd makes custom sauce if you ask for help. Plus his Philly cheese steak is to die for(see image)

The Mongolian-style grill setup lets you build your own bowl with a wide variety of proteins, veggies, noodles, and sauces, and then watch it all get cooked up fresh on a massive open grill right in front of you. Whether you go light and healthy or full-on comfort food mode, they've got you covered. The vibe is energetic and casual, great for groups and families. Definitely a cool spot if you want a meal that's both interactive and tasty. People are kind and will also happily celebrate birthdays.

Champagne brunch is one of our favorites. Even though it's not unlimited, for the price of $20.99, which includes unlimited trips to the grill and three glasses of mimosa, it always leaves us happy!

This place popped up in a "places to watch game of thrones" search. Does anybody know if they really play the show here on sundays?

It doesn't seem like that kind of place. There are TVs over the bar (which were playing sports when I was there). But maybe try calling them?

From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted -- plush tufted velvet booths in dreamy blues, cascading candlestick chandeliers, walls lined with vintage books, and the most whimsical tablescapes I've ever seen. A teapot-and-teacup candelabra dripping with flowers and pocket watches greeted us like something straight off the Mad Hatter's table. Curiosity encouraged, reality optional, indeed. Half the fun was the crowd -- patrons in their finest hats and full Wonderland regalia, everyone leaning into the magic. The black-and-white spiral placemats and mismatched rose-painted china made every corner Instagram gold. We did the **Mad Hatter's Tea ($40 per guest)**, and it delivered both on theme and on flavor. The presentation arrives on a gleaming gold three-tiered stand, and there's a delightful Asian-fusion twist woven through the classic high-tea lineup: - **Goat & feta cheese pinwheels** -- pink whipped goat cheese with roasted beet purée, Genoa salami, and arugula in a spinach tortilla, finished with balsamic and honey drizzle. As pretty as they were tasty. - **Tea sandwiches** -- delicate chicken salad, egg salad, ham & dijon, and cucumber & cream cheese. - **Mozzarella, cantaloupe & prosciutto skewers** -- fresh and light. - **Freshly baked scones, danishes, and buttermilk biscuits** with whipped honey butter and strawberry jam -- warm, flaky, and exactly what high tea should be. - A sizzling **garlic shrimp skillet** with charred lemon and toasted bread that we added on -- savory and satisfying. And the theatrical touches! Each guest gets a **Tea Forté** selection (the Green Mango Peach and White Ginger Pear were lovely), a glass of sparkling wine, and a darling little **"Drink Me" potion bottle** to share -- a perfect Wonderland flourish. Our server was so good at his job that I didn't even realize he slid my drink in front of me without me noticing. He was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. In terms of the food it's pretty on par with nice steakhouses. We ordered the lobster Mac n cheese, mushrooms, BLT salad, French onion soup, and the NY prime rib steak. They also have complimentary bread with multiple different flavors - the jalapeño cheese one was the best. Everything was very tasty. The French onion soup was decent at first but became quite potent after a while and became harder to finish since it was such a strong flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly and they even confirmed the color of the inside with us! At the end they had surprised us with a sweet treat on the house to celebrate our anniversary! Such a pleasant surprise which made the experience that much better. Another random bonus of dining here - if you show your receipt at the front door, you can enter their saloon for free. It seemed to be a nice fun line dancing situation if you were up for it. Overall prices for dinner was quite high but pretty worth it if you care a lot about the experience itself.

It seems like this spot is super popular for brunch drinks. Had the birria taco and this one was probably my favorite of the dishes tha we ordered. There is a crispy shell, two different sauces, and condiments to add with it. There is a lot of different textures and the meat was juicy. The smoked salmon flatbread wasn't as good, it looks very colorful and pretty, but I didnt think the flavors went together very well. I like the smokiness but the salmon wasn't umami enough to justify mixing in caviar and avocado and arugula that would normally pair well with beef. Finally, had the chicken tinga skillet, which had flavor in the sauce, but the chicken itself was just ok.

We tried a couple of appetizers, clams and meatballs. Both were delicious! If you're a bourbon drinker, try their oxtail Old Fashioned. So many delightful flavors! In the spirit of nose-to-tail, one of our dishes was their take on oxtails. Tender and flavorful, definitely recommend trying it. Hanger steak was grilled to perfection. The skirt steak was special. The staff really took excellent care of us. Griffin's might not be the least expensive option in Brea, but it might just be the best price/value. We will be back! Cheers!

Came with a large group 9 of us in total and we made a reservation at opening just to be safe but it wasn't very packed. Our waiter was kind and patient for a large group with 2 kids as he grabbed all the drinks and then we ordered some apps. Food slowly started coming as it arrived, brussel sprouts, potatoes, which whatever the sauce on the bottom of those potatoes SHEESH FIRE! Food slowly arrived and everyone enjoyed what they ordered and shared so we could all try a little bit of everything as it arrived. It wasn't that anything was bad it was that nothing really was a home run. The food was good the service was fine but when your spending what griffins is saying their food is worth in my opinion the details matter that much more and once again it's not that anything was bad it just wasn't as elevated as the price point.

They were charging for parking so we paid $30 plus processing fee. Kevin the manager couldn't care less that we were here as customers not for the monster truck thing so they didn't give us a table and we had to sit at the bar. He initially said that there was a 30 min wait even though we could see empty tales. We had already paid so we had to stay to get the $30 discount on your bill when spending $30. He was not willing to refund since they were not technically the ones charging you. Once we sat at the bar, the bartender was nice and made us feel comfortable so we could enjoy our night. The place was crowded with families with kids, adults just overindulging and being very loud. The moment the event started time got closer, all of this crowd started leaving which allowed us to really enjoy our night. The food was great as always. The poke nachos are really tasty with a good balance of fish and nachos. The fish and chips is one of our go to dishes they are always perfectly cooked. We have noticed that shrinkflation has happened throughout the years, but after enjoying a few beers you don't notice anymore. This was the first time trying their burger and it was amazing! The patty was perfectly cooked and the flavors just worked together. We also decided to give the beeramisu a second try and we enjoyed it. It is a creative and unique twist to your traditional tiramisu. Since it had been a while, we didn't even know that they have a club now. We gladly join and got the poke nachos as a welcome gift. Overall the experience started on a bad note but we left happy after good food, service and drinks. Also, Kevin came by after the mess to check on us and apologize for the inconvenience. Make sure you check the angel stadium for event before you come, they will be busy.

But we got a super nice host who noticed our mistake and kindly sat us down right away. We appreciated the customer service. We ordered the brussel sprouts (3 out of 5) and the carne asada fries (4 out of 5). Both were large portions, enough for two people to share as an appetizer. I especially enjoyed the green cilantro sauce on the carne asada fries! I love that this location lets you do a beer flight with as few as 2 beers. Some of my favorite beers I tried in my flight were the Golden Stout, Wreck Alley (a stout), and Boat Shoes (a tropical IPA). One thing that shocked me about the restaurant setup was the lack of TVs. It has a sports vibe, especially with Angel Stadium right across the street, but the only TV I could see from where I was sitting was super far away. So come for great beer flights and fun apps, but not to hang out and watch sports.
