Interesting concept. There's a salad bar and a Mongolian bbq bar. The salad bar has all your typical items including lettuce and a variety of cold veggies. The Mongolian bbq bar starts with an assortment of noodles and rice, then has veggies and add ons, followed by meats and proteins. You fill up a separate container with the sauces you want mixed in. Once you've got everything, you drop your bowl off in the center to be cooked on the grill. Overall, fun and pretty well priced at $25 for dinner. Drinks were also affordable with a glass of wine for $7. It did freak me out a little to just see a bar of raw meats that get added on to your bowl of noodles and vegetables. The cross contamination threat felt possible but everything does get cooked so I guess it's fine. Came to celebrate a birthday at this location . We had a disappointing experience at Fire & Ice restaurant. We were told by the host that we had to wait for 90 % of our party to be there to be seated. Mind you they were not busy at all & there was plenty of seating. When all of our party arrived , the host counted all of us . Told us to wait to see that the restaurant had to put back out menus on the table as if we weren't going to come . Before we were even seated, the host made a point to talk about splitting checks in a very abrupt and unwelcoming manner. It felt rude and set a negative tone for the entire visit. We expected a more professional and courteous approach, especially from a hospitality venue. We visited 12/8 around 2ish. We were unsure of what to expect but our server gave us a run down and explained everything to us which made everything super easy. I myself have been to a Mongolian style restaurant before therefore knew a bit about the concept but this was all new to my partner. He thought it was amazing and was really fascinated with it. We started off with some appetizers- the mozzarella sticks and fried calamari. Mozzarella sticks were pretty basic but still yummy, 8/10, the sauce was a little too runny for my liking. The calamari was interesting, I've never seen it served with jalapeños and peppers. For me it was a miss simply because it was a little too hard for me and I was not used to calamari with jalapeño and other peppers 3/10. We also got virgin pina colada and a virgin lava colada I believe it is called, both drinks were pretty tasty, the lava colada was a little tart but still good. We then approached the buffet and made our plates. Unfortunately the black cod my partner put in his plate was a bit undercooked so he had to stop eating. If you are hungry, this is a place to be. There is a lot of choices for Asian, Hispanic, an American flavors. Cook fresh in front of you. You get to choose any fundament you like and you have two hours to get your best picks. Only one bowl for table, but it really isn't difficult to finish everything since the bowl can't really fill up with too much noodles and pasta. I love that the sanitizer works , and they have disposable gloves for you when you're touching the tongs. Hostess was really nice and welcoming. Seated right away once our entire party arrived. Unfortunately they were short handed so the bar was closed for walk ups. Food selection: Questionable? The bowl sizes looked small but held a decent amount of items. Noodle section was fine. Vegetables choices were amazing. Proteins didn't look quite appetizing. Steak was old and cut in tiny pieces. Shrimp wasn't fresh, but came frozen. Sauces: you don't mix your sauces with your bowl but rather a separate plastic cup (apparently to keep from burning). But so much wasted plastic. Second, sauces were thick. So felt like you had to know what each sauces tasted like if you were planning on mixing flavors. Lemon garlic was heavy lemon juice and lacked umami flavor. Teriyaki was excessively sweet. They had a garlic butter, but it was so much butter. When it comes to the food once cooked. Our group had mixed reviews. Some said their food was cooked perfectly, and some others were still undercooked or overcooked. Def think my coworker and I got sick after this. Appetizers: ordered mozzarella, quesadilla and calamari. They were not amazing but just decent. Your typical grocery store box products. We had a party of 7. We ended up having a separate bill: 1 for alcoholic drinks and 1 for just food. Both bills they charged a $22 service charge. So basically it was the same 7 people, but they were trying to charge us $44 in service fees.. even though we get our own food. So read your receipts carefully before you pay. Overall, food was decent. It isn't horrible, but not amazing either. Price point- you're better off somewhere else for the quality. Garden walk has 1 hour free with 1-2 hours extra with validation per website. Unfortunately, we only got 1 hour extra for free, so our group had to pay $4 for that 30 minutes we went over. We had a coupon on the Anaheim app so we were sold immediately. I've been to a restaurant in Savannah, GA that resembled this but definitely not as good looking. Our waiter was very helpful explaining how dinner worked, even using the menu pictures to clarify. We ordered drinks and went up to pick our food. Tons of choices ranging from rice and pasta to seafood and cheeseburgers. Anything you want in one bowl that goes on a huge grill then topped with a choice of sauce and seasoning. Basically, if it sucks it's your own fault. I made some good and bad choices, but everything was fresh and the bar was clean. There were many employees keeping items available and the cooks put on a good show with amazing skill. We ate a ton of food but unfortunately waited forever to get our bill. His name is Obed and my husband and I both believe our food tasted amazing because of the care and attention Obed put into cooking it! He even asked me how I wanted my burger cooked. I totally caught me off guard. He toasted my buns until they were warm and even melted the cheese and crisp up the bacon. It was so good to me that I got it again. My husband and I watched me tend to my husband's potatoes and ribs and my husband was so happy with it. He was definitely a gem in his place and knows what he's doing. Came here to redeem my free birthday dinner (you get a 1 month period to redeem it). We came around 6:30pm on a Thursday, and there was no wait. This restaurant is located in the Gardenwalk. First hour of parking in the structure is free. The restaurant validated parking (I don't know the actual rules for validation, but we stayed a total of 2 hours and didn't have to pay for parking). This place is so fun! It's an all you can eat buffet where you load up bowls of veggies, pasta, and meat, and you choose a sauce, and they grill the food fresh for you! It's super fun to try different foods with different sauces, and the food is always hot. The meat choices included steak, cilantro chicken, sausages, meatballs, pork, shrimp, tilapia, cod, mussels, hamburgers, and a few other items. My favorite meats were the cod, cilantro chicken, and the steak. Some of the steak pieces were tender, but others were drier. I tried the teriyaki, pesto, and Asian sesame sauces and added basil and cilantro to the sauces. The sauces were quite tasty. There's also a salad bar. I enjoyed the Parmesan cheese! Service was extremely quick in the beginning, but was slow later in the evening. Overall enjoyed the meal! Mongolian grill with nice mix of ingredients in a lively atmosphere, for a very reasonable price. It is located in Anaheim Garden Walk, so should park in their multi-story parking garage (there are signs to take up to the 4th floor so you can park very close to the restaurant). The first hour is free, and the restaurant will validate to cut the price down (we paid $6 after validation for 4 hours of parking). We were a group of six that met for an early dinner (5:15) on a Saturday evening, using OpenTable to reserve. The restaurant called earlier to confirm which I thought was nice. Once all of our party arrived, we were seated promptly outside (per our preference) and in a round table easily big enough to comfortably seat us. 80's music was playing throughout (along with a flat screen showing the accompanying music videos). It's about $25 per person for AYCE, and the list of ingredents is pretty varied. I focus on seafood, so the mussels, large shrimps, and marinated cod were my favorites. But they also have all of the meats (pork, chicken, steak) and they are NOT the frozen, thinly sliced prevalent at other mongolian grills. These seemed fresh, but still cut into smaller chunks to cook well. These grill ingredients are at the right of the buffet, with the sauces in the middle, and the salad bar to the right. One cool thing is that they have fresh 1/3 lb burgers ready to be cooked (you grab the burger and the cooks will add cheese, bun, and bacon and cook it for you)....my wife got one and I took a bite...it was really good. Another interesting thing is they have different types of noodles...lo mein, udon, but also Italian fettucine...since they have mussels and marinara sauce available, you can make a mean seafood pasta. Also they have prepared but chilled fried rice...it's an ingenious ingredient for a grill and good way to add rice to your dish. The grill itself is very large, enough for 3 hardworking cooks to constantly turn out your dishes as you wait (about 5 - 10 minutes...gives time to talk while waiting). We also got a pitcher of draft beer (enough for 3-5 pints) for $24. They do have a mandatory gratuity of 18% for parties of 6 or more, which the staff well deserves. A lot of mongolian grills have very watered down sauces, so I've had to use multiple ladles to get the amount of flavor you want at other places. Don't do that here....one of the provided disposable ramekins are enough to get plenty of flavor onto your dish, so you can mix your sauces in that before you give to your attendant. I used two ramekins and the dish turned out way too saltly...completely my fault and something to consider next time. The sesame sauce was really good, and went well with both seafood and the steak. read more

They get your drink orders and they also clean your table once you finish. They have a variety of noodles, vegetables, proteins, sauces. So you can make many different combinations. They have udon, spaghetti, Lo mein noodles. You can also make burgers. You start with a bowl and add your ingredients and then for your sauce you put it in separate container. JePlus I luv the name of this place, sounds like a title of a figure skating extravaganza. After many meals at Disney, which adds up in dollars and calories. Our party of 10 (big eaters) wanted something else that was tasty and had a variety of healthy options at affordable prices that was nearby within walking distance to Disneyland. This restaurant hit the marks. We called ahead to make reservations. Reservations in hand, off we go. The walk was safe. Pedestrian friendly crosswalks. When we dined here a couple of weeks ago, all staff wore masks. Customers were not required to do so, the majority did not. The food setup was raw items for the grill on the left side. The right side had salads and fruits. There were plastic gloves at each of the food stations. It was optional for the customers to use. I used them. The raw grill items had small stainless steel bowls to use. It is one bowl at a time. So load it up your boe For the grill items, the variety of noodles were first, then vegetables ( including tofu), proteins, and lastly the sauces. The proteins were: calamari, salmon filets, catfish. shrimp, mussels in the shell, hot dog, andouille sausage, raw hamburger patty, raw bacon, raw marinated and unmarinated steak slices, shaved freeze dried beef, raw chicken, and raw pork. Do not forget your sauce. They are right after the proteins. Pour the sauces into the provided containers and not directly onto your food. Butter is also a choice. Yes... cook your food in but-ter! Plus they request you do not ladle the sauces or scoop the butter directly onto your bowl of raw food. Also do not ladle sauces onto your cooked food. The grill counter is laid out in a circle with taped divided wedges. Place your bowl and sauce containers in the wedge on the counter that has the flashing buzzer. The grill chef cleans each wedge of the circular grill after each order. They have the hot dog buns, hamburger buns, sliced American cheese, and Parmesan cheese behind the counter. Fire + Ice is an AYCE restaurant with food options ranging from Asian to Western styles of meats/carbs/veggies/sauces. You pile on your goodies into one bowl and leave it with the cooks to bring your concoctions to life. With Covid-19 protocols, they ask that you leave your bowl + card (they give this to you once you're seated. It has your name and table number so they know where to bring your food) and they are very fast with their speed of service. We had so much yummy food and not a single creation of ours disappointed. I'm not sure why I haven't noticed this place sooner, but we will definitely be coming back for sure! Bonus: Their prices are extremely reasonable too. Got to love BYO! Building your own foodie creations is so much fun. At F+I you can do anything from lunch style in Italian, Mexican, or Asian flavors. You are also able to Asian fusion it! Beside the carb (noodles/pasta) options, they are considered keto friendly because you can just do meats and vegetables. For brunch, they have omelet and pancake options. My two favorite styles of lunch to do are a classic Italian with bow tie pasta, chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, and with cream sauce and garlic herb butter. The second is a straight up Asian style with ramen noodles, beef, onion, green onions, bean sprouts, mushrooms, green beans, bamboo shoots, fresh garlic, and their teriyaki/sesame sauce mixed with some spicy Szechuan sauce. Now that I think about it, I really should create an Asian fusion one next time. Perhaps an Asian cream sauce...? They are located in the Anaheim Garden Walk. Parking is best on the 4th level and with a validation you can get 2-hours comped. During this COVID pandemic time, they require masks and they have gloves available when you go through their buffet style setup. Unfortunately not everyone is adhering to the 6' apart social distance even when there are floor markers. So just try your best to stay safe! Anyway, after you get all your ingredients you just drop it off with at the Mongolian grill with the barbecuers.
