From the moment we were seated the JP was very attentive and provided us incredible service. The appetizers we had were the filet bruschetta and the lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was by far the best I've ever had , large clumps of claw meat, perfectly balanced with butter and cream. The steaks we cooked to perfection. The only disappointment was they ran out of bananas foster. We will definitely be returning. The ambiance and menus are perfect for any date night or celebration. Went here for my wife's birthday. This is supposed to be a high-end restaurant... they charge high-end prices but then fail to deliver the high-end dining experience... when you are paying $47 for a pork chop, $55 for a lobster tail, and $63 for a steak you deserve to be treated like it. Food was okay but at the end of dinner the staff handed us plastic containers to pack our own leftovers. We are certainly not above packing our own food but when you are paying those prices you expect to get a certain level of service. This totally killed the "high-end vibe!" Made the place feel like an Applebee's of similar chain restaurant, rather than fine dining. I asked the waitress about this and she said it's "been that way since COVID." Seriously, COVID was six years ago! Plus, they deliver your food without gloves, handle your water glass, etc... why stop short and hand someone that just paid over $200 for dinner plastic containers and have them pack their own to-go? Destroyed the illusion of a nice, and special occasion! When there are other restaurants, and Casinos for that matter, a relatively short distance away, we will NEVER spend another dime at FIRE, and will most likely not spend any more real time at Windcreek Casino because of this. We work too hard for our money to spend it on a dinner that does not make you feel like they appreciate you and want to deliver a special experience for the money you are paying. Visited for the first time today, mainly because of its 5 Diamond rating and recommendations from friends & family. We went into this expecting to be wowed and having the chance to enjoy a new upscale restaurant experience. The bread service, which was served with 3 different kinds of butter was great. When the entrees came out, I was excited about the loaded baked potato I saw on the serving cart. The waitress put both dishes down in front of us and revealed my 14 oz New York Strip and my wife's Delmonico Ribeye. To start with, I didnt see any steam or smoke rise from underneath the lids when they were lifted. The butter on top of the steaks wouldn't even melt because the steaks were cold. To sum it up, the steaks were very bland and overcooked and seemed to have been sitting out for a while before they were served. Very disappointing meal and very overpriced for what you get. The Wedge Salad was delicious with the mild Blue Chesse, Grape Tomatoes and Buttermilk Dressing. We ordered the Onion Soup and Lobster Bisque, both were tasty but the Onion Soup was not to my taste. First of all we decided to eat there last minute and the manager made room for us. Definitely make a reservation. The server Ladana, was beyond attentive. These servers have an assistant and they refill, pre bus, open wine, run food and whatever the server needs and they were very accommodating. Absolutely the best!!! The cheesecake was phenomenal but the crème brûlée was very strong with the grand mariner so I really didn't taste anything else. The food, service and ambiance was excellent. In my 59 years I have never received the attention from my servers and chef like I did at Fire Steakhouse. From the complimentary bruschetta from the chef and bon bon when we told our server we were too full to order dessert to the long stem rose given to my date at the end of our meal. First time here and it was great. The service was top notch not just from our waitress but from everyone that checked in with us as well. Started with the fire stack and each part was done well. I had the dry aged cowboy steak and it was just amazing - from the seasoning and the sear to the tenderness - it cut like butter and i am not a sauce on my steak type of guy but the sauce along with the roasted garlic just took the steak up another level. Oh my from start to finish this place was excellent! I ordered the lamb chops and my husband had the filet mignon and it came out perfectly cooked. The meal started with a meat and onion tart, followed by warm sourdough bread and 3 different butters, a small amount of sorbet to clean the pallet and then the meal! Yum! My "Go-To" for fine dining in the Atmore area! The service is UNREAL. Professional, friendly, fast - a true dining experience. Located within Wind Creek Casino right off of the casino floor, FIRE steakhouse is a comfortable, quiet and delicious mix! Even though you are right next to the casino, the glass doors and dark tint keep the restaurant calm and comfortable. Try not to fill up on their bread. Bread is served hot with three different spreads/butters. YUM. Get the FIRE oysters if you are a seafood fan. They come lightly fried with cheese. The fried green tomatoes are also a treat. I always get the filet salad here when I am in town. It's the perfect mix of tender meat, tomatoes and fresh greens. They have a large selection of wines and cocktails. The bar is small but super Comfortable to eat at. However, if you are with guests get a table for the full dining experience :-) Check the hours on their website before making plans. They pride themselves on letting you know there are the top steakhouse in Alabama. We ordered. 9 ounce fillets, and we noticed that we get our food about the same time as another table that sat down 15 minutes after us. So we get our steaks and they are tough, dry and tasteless. Good thing they gave me a sharp knife because I wouldn't have been able to cut into it. That $50 steak was dry, tasteless and terrible. It was so bad that I actually said something to the waiter who said she talked to the chef. No one ever came to our table or tried to make it right. The server offered a free dessert. I booked this reservation a month out for our anniversary and they made sure that it was miserable. I wouldn't drive five minutes to go to this restaurant . I didn't review Fire the first nor second time I came here because one time there was a concert going on and I like to give a place two fair tries before reviewing. Love the spinach underneath. Really full of flavor. Mains we got the bourbon glazed salmon which was a big piece of fish, but lacked a little in flavor. I do NOT suggest the asparagus that comes with it. It is totally flavorless. We subbed mashed potatoes for grits (just preference) and we're please with the portion of the sides & the flavor. We also ordered the twin medallion filet. The steak was cooked perfect and had good flavor but the bacon wrapped around it paired with the crab topping made the dish a little too salty. I liked the creamed spinach we ordered on the side but it's heavy on the cheese and not on the spinach, reminds me of a spinach dip rather than creamed spinach. The waitress seemed to be less than knowledgeable about the menu, that's always a let down for me as I often like to order what they suggest. Steaks, 2 had the ribeye and 2 had the filet. They were all cooked perfectly. The ribeye was well marbled, juicy and tender while the filet cut like butter. All were served with either loaded mashed potatoes or baked potato along with roasted asparagus. Mashed were topped with cheese and bacon and might I add there was no shortage on the bacon. The potatoes were smooth and creamy with loads of melty cheese. We ended the meal with grand manieur creme Brule. Crunchy sugar topping with creamy orange flavored custard. This was our 4th visit to Fire and each time has been a wonderful experience. The service is second to none and the food is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend the Pan Seared Diver Scallops. It is by far one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. The Bourbon Brined Chicken and Waffles is amazing as well! My only complaint was an apparent miscommunication on the dress code. We were in town for a race and called to inquire if there was a strict dress code. We were told absolutely no jeans, no t-shirts, no shorts, and no flip flops. We scrambled to go shopping for dressier clothes in Atmore (which is a challenge!) only to arrive and see that everyone else in the restaurant was wearing jeans! read more

I am so sad to give Fire a 3 star! We love this restaurant and look forward to every visit. I do not know that we will make another trip simply because it turned into a 3 hour affair. The food was good. Not 5 star good, but good. No complaints there really. The major complaint was with the service. Our waitress was very personable, but just had too many tables to man. It turned the experience into a common, 3 star experience at a 5 star price. My husband and I took our mothers and aunt for what we anticipated to be an incredible dining experience. Our bill was $260 + and $40 tip. This was not a $300 food experience. We didn't even get the rose at the end of the meal. Even the girl cleaning the table commented on our slowwwwww service. Also, I suggest a dress code for dinner. It has just totally slipped. It seemed to be filled with gambling comps, with a more casual feel.
