They used grated and shredded parmesan with a good mix of garlic, oil, and butter. Insanely good. I could not stop talking about how good these were while eating them. Better than Wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings. Wings with an Asian twist. The original flavors taste pretty similar wo what you're used to, but the reason you're here is probably for the Asian flavors. The wings have a way crispier batter than other wings places and the sauces are smothered on top. My favorite is Saigon Street which has fish sauce in a sticky sweet sauce and the garlic fries which is loaded with a salty garlic and parmesan mixture. So one of my friends was craving wings and she wouldn't stop mentioning it to me every few days. Over past couple of months we had a couple of bad experiences so I wanted to make sure I found a good wing spot. A quick search on Yelp recommended Fire Wings. I placed an online order for pick up. I was surprised with the large selection of flavors they offered. I bought the 20 piece family meal. The place was fairly busy when I went to pick up. The ambiance was bright and clean. Behind the counter, the friendly staff had my order ready on time. When I got home the wings were still nice and hot. I was super surprised with how tasty the wings were for each of the flavors I got. I got the lemon pepper, mango habanero and Korean. All of which were equally good! Only proper that i update my review after several more visits. Definitely worth a pass going forward. Do you enjoy over fried wings? How about dry ass wings? How about miniscule sized wings and paying a premium? If you say YES to any of these then Fire Wings is the place to go to. My last 2 orders here have been pedestrian. Both times my wings were over cooked and dry. And both times the flats were the size of a finger. I really enjoyed the peanut wings. They definitely satisfied my craving, which I thought it might be similar to the flavor of kare kare a Filipino dish, it was most definitely different but oh so good! My kids try the teriyaki wings and they were both a fan. We also ordered the french fries with nacho cheese on top, and those were a crowd pleaser. We went in on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't too busy and we got our food fairly quick. The only downside was that many tables needed to be wiped off. They were probably understaffed but that doesn't affect our delicious food. My son is already asking to go back to have the teriyaki wings. Wanted to try out this Fire Wings location in East SJ after trying the Hayward location. Parking lot is small, but it wasn't too bad finding parking. Online ordering and pick up is super simple! We got there a little early, so they told us that they'll text us when our order was finished. We ordered while we were hungry af, so we ended up with a 20 wing pack + large garlic noodles for the two of us LOL. The wing pack comes with 20 wings and the choice between 3 different flavors; you can opt for bone-in or boneless - but trust me, ALWAYS go bone-in! It also comes with veggie sticks and fries. We ended up getting these flavors: Saigon Street, Dragon, and Louisiana Rub. I was pretty impressed with the Saigon Street flavor the first time at the Hayward location - it tastes like delicious, crunchy Nuoc Mam wings that you can get at Viet restaurants! Dragon also tastes pretty similar to Saigon Street, but with less fish sauce and a hint of spiciness! Even though those two flavors are covered in sauce, the wings still remain very crunchy. My least favorite flavor was Louisiana Rub - I think I was expecting something similar to Wingstop's version, but found it was a little too heavy-handed on the seasoning. Way too salty for my taste. +1 for the seasoned fries though! I love how crispy the fries were and wow, their ranch was DELICIOUS. To be honest, I think I ate more of the fries than wings haha! Lastly, garlic noodles were decent - very garlicky and flavorful; a little on the dry side though! However, was a good side dish to balance all the chicken. So hard to hear with masks on lol). 5 wings salt n pepper and 5 wings Thai chili. These are the go-to flavors for us! Salt n pepper comes with diced onions, jalapeños, and garlic. Their wings are perfectly fried! Thai chili is saucy, tangy, and just a tad bit of heat. So good! Also tried their dragon flavor , which i found was similar to Thai chili. And their Saigon wings (fish sauce wings) which are definitely just like grandma's but taken up a notch lol. Garlic fries are our favorite. We ate the fire fries this time and it's drizzled with a buffalo / chalupa style Hot sauce. Got the fries kinda soggy so prob won't get it again. I would get this again for my side. *Fries - this came with this seasoning which was pretty yummy, they were thick fries but I loved it because they were crispy on the outside, and potatoey on the inside. Now for the wing flavors I got to try the following: *garlic parmesan - these were the standard flavor that I personally love and had to get. They were crispy and the right amount of flavor! *Peanut butter - These were saucy wings with some crushed peanuts on them. They reminded me of that sauce you get with chicken satays but lighter.
