Receipt being put in and rang up at time of arrival, not time of the phone call

Be so for real!! Called to place a pickup order at 8:25pm on thursday june 4, came around 8:50pm assuming it was ready, it wasnt even put in the system, now im late for work because of a restaurant keeps employees who can't do their job. I can't even make ts up cause look at the time on the receipt they just rang me up for and the time stamp i called from my phone. Wasting extra 30min to have my order that I CALLED for BEFORE I ARRIVE 30minutes. For 10 wings, js do better or dont do it‍

It's been awhile since I've had Fire Wings and decided to finally order some today. Talk about disappointed. 20 wings and they were so small, super dry, and lacked flavor. The only thing that helped was the ranch and honey mustard. Quality seems to have gone down based on what I remember from my last visit. Might be awhile before I decide to come back again.

garlic parmesan, bbq, korean kick, thai chili, garlic noodles and cheesy fries

We ordered takeout on a Friday night and it was pretty empty. For wings, we tried the bbq, garlic parmesan, korean kick and thai chili flavors. Korean kick was my favorite. All the other flavors were good but nothing out of this world. The garlic noodles were delicious! Unfortunately, my veggie sticks forgotten, but I did get a refund for them!

This is strictly a review for a to-go order. I usually love getting the salt and pepper wings but this time they were extra salty. I had to eat it with something to make it edible. However, whenever I've had it in the past it was good so I think this might have been one off. The garlic noodles are super tasty. I also ordered all carrots but they still ended up giving be celery. Given this is a to-go order it wasn't as good in person since lost some of the crunch.

VERY Dry VERY chewy, like chewing on rubber bands. The taste was ok but couldn't eat it.

Had a deal for 40 boneless wings for $30, and ordered a side of garlic noodles. Ordered Dragon, Korean, Saigon, and jerk flavors...all of them were good, but don't really care for the Korean one. Went down a star for their garlic noodles. The flavor is ok, but the texture of the noodles were like eating rubber bands. I do like Al dente, but it was very chewy and so dry. It was like chewing on rubber bands!

20 PACK LRG - TATER TOTS HONEY MUSTARD RANCH Cali Rub, Mango Habanero, Dragon Rub VEGGIE STICKS
    Stephanie L.

I was craving for some chicken wings, so I got the 20 pack combo with cali rub, mango habanero, and dragon rub. The order came with seasoned fries, but I sub that out with tater tots with a side of ranch & honey mustard. I ordered for to-go and the waiting period took awhile. There was a few people waiting ahead of me, so it took around 30 min give or take. Food came out piping hot and it smells delicious. It definitely satisfy my chicken cravings :) I will say that the mango habanero was my favorite followed by cali rub and then dragon. It had a lil kick to it, and wasn't overly sweet. It could use a bit more mango flavor, but it's good for what it is.

Buffalo wing compared to my pinky...

My first visit here was great, but the second? Not so much... We ordered two combo meals--one with 8 wings and one with 10. Both came with the tiniest wings I've ever seen. My hands are already small, but these wings were barely bigger than my pinky (see pics). Not sure why they were serving such tiny ones this time. The garlic parmesan wings also lacked flavor, though the buffalo wings and garlic parmesan fries were delicious. It seems like consistency is an issue. I might give Fire Wings another shot on a different day. Hoping for a better experience next time!

Love the Tuesday 85c boneless special! It is delicious and the meat is cooked perfectly. My favorite is the lemon pepper. The fries and sides aren't amazing but the carrots and celery sticks were nice. Service was also fast.

Big portion. Big enough for two. I would go here for that reason alone compared to other places. The sauce was decent and they let me substitute Korean sauce even though it wasn't on the menu. Tenders were nothing special but good.

Updating for future reference that garlic parmesan and lemon pepper are my go to dry rubs! And ofc the honey mustard is a must :)

Large LRG - BUFFALO TENDER FRIES

Fire wings is known for their quality chicken and diverse asian fusion flavors but the garlic noodles are hands down the best sides you can get here other than the fries. The earthy taste from the notes of garlic and cheese will leave you wanting for more! It's a must have on your next trip to Fire Wings. Additionally, the service is quick and staffs are friendly as well. The restaurant is clean and there's a few TVs to keep you entertained. Fire Wings is such a great spot for chicken next to Vietnam Town and I'd definitely recommend this place to enjoy with friends and family.

When I came in to place my order, the female employee who took my order seemed very unfriendly and had a noticeably unpleasant attitude. I understand that everyone can have a bad day or may be dealing with something in their personal life, so I tried not to take it personally. However, I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for just one small bánh mì. After waiting that long, I finally went up to ask about my order. Only then did the employee hand it to me. Apparently, my order had already been ready for quite some time, but no one bothered to call my number or let me know. Waiting is understandable when a restaurant is busy, but having a completed order sitting there while the customer continues waiting is very frustrating. Combined with the unfriendly attitude and poor customer service, this was a very disappointing experience. Good customer service is not just about making the food--it is also about communicating with customers and treating them with basic courtesy. I really hope the management provides better customer service training moving forward.

Now with that said, I only come here strictly for Thien Huongs thit nuong [vietnamese grilled pork]. The flavors are deliciously untouchable and cannot be replicated. It is smoky, savory, with a hint of sweetness, and 100% tender through and through. Thien Huong is the home of BUY 3 GET 1 FREE, which totally trumps Duc Huong's deal of buying 4 large sandwiches and getting 1 FREE. Service is quick but parking kind of sucks and the custom service is still consistently unfriendly. Personally, I can deal with the grumpy female staff when something so delicious is awaiting. 5/5 stars. Bonus points because the staff isn't stingy with the pickled carrots and daikon. RANG Final…read moreThoughts: 4.50/5 Review for Rang. They have weekly matcha pop ups at Rose Tea Lounge. Original location is in Elk Grove, but they are here in San Jose area. Kind of hard to see and find them? given that there aren't really any signs posted outside. I perhaps wouldn't have known about it if my friend didn't tell me about it. Drink: Guava Matcha Einspanner: 4.5/5 This is their matcha with house-made guava puree at the bottom and topped with silky guava foam. Their foam is so nice and creamy. Felt very light and just thick enough. Silky consistency that mixed well with the drink. My friend noted that they make it fairly sweet, so I opted for the 25%. This was still quite sweet for me. Each component is sweet itself, so when you combine it, its mostly just sweet. No tartness to cut any of it. Perhaps the guava has something to do with that. Guava is a sweet fruit in general, so I seemed to expect as much. The matcha itself had a nice color to it. Very vibrant. Light bitterness. Lovely consistency overall. I like each component separately and I like them together when it's fully combined. Strawberry Matcha Einspanner: 4.5/5 This was my friends drink and I also really liked it. Had to try it for my review purposes. Per their Door Dash description, this is their matcha latte with their home-made strawberry puree and topped with velvety strawberry foam. There really wasn't much of a difference with this one and mine besides the fruit. His was slightly more tart than mine, which is something I like. Again, the drink itself leans more on the sweet side, so any sort of tartness would be nice to cut some of that. Matcha color is amazing. Nice and vibrant. Lovely silky consistency. I like the ratio of fruit flavor and matcha. Some places will make it just taste like milk, others have an imbalance of flavors. This one was just right for me. --------- Quality: Ceremonial Matcha and whisked to order We saw them whisk the matcha to order. Not really a display cooking kind of counter, but they do do all of that in the front where the cashiers are. You are able to watch if you so choose. I do like the matcha that they use, so it seems like a high quality one. That or it's because they aren't batching their matcha like other places. I understand that batching doesn't make it lower quality, but something about whisking it fresh is always better. Price: Average Will depend on the drink, but the prices are around $7 to $9. For our drinks, average around $8.25 per drink. Quite a common price range for a cup of matcha. This one was made well, so no complaints here. There was no upcharge for the oatmilk, which is always a plus for us. Service: Whisked matcha fresh No interactions today. We ordered directly on the kiosk and then just waited for our drinks to come out. Something that I like is that they whisk and make the matcha in front of us. Kind of hard to see, given my height and spot that we were standing, but they do whisk it in the front for us. Of note, they use this hand towel or cloth to wipe the bowls. Not sure how sanitation does with that, but I digress. Just an observation for today. Ambiance: Quaint Flower Café Vibes This place is giving very quaint flower café vibes. I would totally work here if I could work from home or if I needed to study. Space is incredibly spacious on the inside contrary to how the outside and plaza area is looking. Little dim lit inside, but that might be from the little lighting that's hitting through the windows given the angle and evening sun. Location/Parking: Small Plaza This place is like a pop-up/collaboration with Rose Tea Lounge. There's really no label for it outside of the storefront, but when you go into the café and on the kiosk, you can directly order from them. Kind of interesting how it works and I probably would have never seen it if my friend didn't bring me here. Location is not the best as it is right in a smaller plaza on the side of Story Road near the 101 freeway. At least they chose an area that is slightly less saturated. Vietnam Town is really close by and they really do have too much going on over there sometimes. Parking lot is also small, but it seems to work well with the smaller plaza size.
