We had the pleasure of stopping by Fired Pie for the first time, and it won't be our last! The staff was super friendly and helpful--one of the pizza employees walked us through the menu and helped us decide what to order. We went with the Steak and Blue Pizza, topped with shredded mozzarella, thin-sliced steak, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and Gorgonzola cheese. The thin, crispy crust was excellent, and all the toppings blended perfectly together for a flavorful bite every time. The restaurant has plenty of seating and was very clean, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy our meal. Looking forward to coming back soon! read more

I have nothing against the staff here. Always polite and friendly, but their poor location is the worst. Tucked away behind Tilly's in the mall, across from the food court, you have to look for this nugget of a place. I didn't realize this when I decided to try a new place on Uber Take Out. We ordered the Meat Pizza (sausage and pepperoni) and were a little disappointed with the value. For $15 we received a small sized pizza that my husband finished by himself. The sausage count was two---I'm not exaggerating, we counted. While the crust was epic and the sauce portions decent, I won't be back. read more

Hey there, I love giving good reviews, but I am sorry to say that I had a very terrible experience with a manager over at this place as I was the first customer I thought it would be a good idea to let him know about all of the tables being dirty still I guess from the previous night . You could tell that nobody had cleaned them. Short story is the manager got very upset at me and said that it was just a little bit of dust, but I had gone to three different tables so I could put my water down before ordering my pizza. He brought it to my attention at the last time I was in there after buying pizzas for the fire fighters that were in line. The hundred dollars that I spent did not show up on my app and I was asking if there was anything that he knew about how to fix it. When I took a picture of the receipt, it didn't give me any of the rewards. Well, he obviously remembered that, and now that I had pointed out the dirty tables it escalated that he said that I'm always complaining and told me to get out of the store. He dumped my pizza in to the garbage can and then told me to get out or else he was going to have the police come and get me for trespassing. It was the absolute weirdest experience with a manager at a restaurant that I've had in my life. The manager's name is Rudy and sits in the corner with his laptop and always wears black beanie. I don't typically write reviews but I'm very disappointed in this particular location. We like the food and this is the closest location to us unfortunately horrible customer service almost everytime we come in. No acknowledgement to the customers waiting in line while 2 staff members watch 1 other staff cut pieces of dough. Meanwhile 2 other staff are working on the same online order without any acknowledgement to the customers waiting in line. We've been to bunch of Fired Pies, all over the Valley and each one has a slightly different personality. This one is more Mom and Me does Tuesday night Happy Hour. LOL. Kids running around, while a dozens or so moms sit back and chill out. The kids seem to be having fun and are not rambunctious at all. But it's fun to watch them as you wait. The last time we were here we ordered, three pies, a salad and some garlic knots. It ran us forty five dollars, which seemed fair. Everything was tasty and all the employees went out of their way to be helpful. One of our pizzas didn't come out right, so they offered to remake it or give us a credit for our next visit. Who doesn't love this place? It's the Subway a Pizza but so much more elevated. I love being able to add fresh mozzarella and meatballs to any pizza. The service has always been top notch and the portion is on point. With fast food restaurants being as expensive as they have become these days this place is still overly affordable and will definitely keep you wanting more. read more

Service, AGAIN, is the problem at this location. Ordered online, pick-up time 5:50 pm, arrive and asked about my order at 5:40 pm, I was early. The young cashier walked over to the board and checked the tickets, said there being made, it'll be 10 mins. Which I was fine with, I was early and wanted it as soon as it was done. 20 minutes later, watching the staff work, chat and check phones, I saw 2 of 3 pizzas and a dumbfounded look on the cashier's face. She didn't know where the 3rd pizza was, she was walking around, checking other pizza boxes for it and I had enough. I approached the register and asked, "where is my order?" She checked again and I told her what she was missing, they had to remake it. She just stood there until I asked about the other two getting cold, then she said she'll add place them in the warmer, which she did. No once was an apologize mentioned, no offer for a drink, desert, or refund just "we need to make another one". That was it. So 6:15 pm and the casher asked the oven guy to bring it out to me. This location is near the school for two of our grandkids. Taking the older boy here is his favorite lunch location. He orders a cheese pizza, a soft drink, and a chocolate chip cookie every time. I especially enjoy the custom salads. I've tried the steak & blue, and one other with buffalo chicken. The lady behind the counter who mixes up the salad ingredients always offers some extras, and I appreciate that; then she tosses the entire salad and pours it into a serving bowl. I especially appreciate the cleanliness of this specific location. As open-aired as it is with the high ceilings and canned music, it is still quiet enough to carry on a conversation. I'm pretty disappointed with my experience from this location. My husband and I came here for dinner one night, granted it was a Friday, and waited 45 minutes in line. When we got to the beginning of the line we ended up having to wait even longer because an online order came in for 8 pizzas, which we understood, but realistically Fired Pie should have designed the locations to have a to go prep line and an in person prep line, in my opinion. When we got to order, the proportions for the items I selected (chicken, bacon, and black olives) looked relatively small, I thought maybe it was because I was far away and so I decided not to say anything. Once we got ready to pay, the cashier was talking about how busy it was and would be a nice night for tips, which I understand but don't think it's appropriate. After waiting for our pizza came the most disappointing portion, the cheese was soooo overwhelming on my pizza and the portions for the items I selected were just as small as I thought and not spread out at all. I want to give credit, where credit is due! So I have to tell you about my extraordinary experience today at Fired Pie Pizzeria, on 75th Avenue and the 101. The owner, Rudy, along with two of his employees, Maycie & Jake, prides themselves on total customer experience, and total customer satisfaction. Rudy is a professor at setting the cadence of hospitality, love, and friendship in his pizzeria. Rudy's incredible people skills have trickled down to the two employees that definitely deserve to be mentioned again. Maycie & Jake, who truly both of them went above and beyond today to really satisfy the customer. They don't hold back anything in their product. Their product is truly USDA top choice, meats and vegetables. So do yourself a favor. If you're really craving a pizza, it doesn't matter where you live in Arizona. Meh. Not impressed at all with Fired Pie. It's not organized at all and the lack of communication between the staff was mind blowing. The girl was in LA-LA land and forgot to make one of my pizzas. The guy seemed to be helping her a lot. I'm assuming that this girl was new because she would just dump the cheese on the pizza not spread it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the kind and efficient service here. They took their time with each customer and didn't make me feel rushed when I couldn't decide. They also asked if I wanted them to change their gloves after handling gluten when asking for a gluten-free option, and were very conscientious of any allergies I may have without making me feel like I was an inconvenience. This is HUGE for someone like me that struggles with food allergies and I really appreciate it!!! Food is up to par but the staff is the real reason they deserve five stars!! read more

We have had fired pie on numerous occasions. Always has been good. This time was less than stellar. The pizza has large air pockets around the edge that are burnt. Clearly the oven was not clean as you can see from the bottom of the pizza , as it is burnt on the crust and has burnt residue from previous cooked pizzas on the bottom. Maybe I was just hungry...but I had the Cauliflower Crust Pizza and it was really good! I'd say, one of the best alternative based pizzas I've had! The pizza had regular sauce and cheese, added roasted garlic, ham, bacon, onions, peppers and basil. It had a good crisp, as well as the chewiness you'd expect from regular pizza. I miss regular pizza so much but this made me feel like I wasn't missing out. I think they have a good variety of quality toppings too which probably helps a lot! read more

My family and I really enjoy the pizza and salads at fired pie. Once of the best things about a place like this is that you can pretty much add anything to your pizza or your salad and you are not charged more for it. My kids always get a cheese and sauce pizza which is good. This trip my wife and I split the 4 meat pizza and added black olives and artichoke hearts. My mom was with us on this trip and she got a pepperoni pizza and added pineapple. All of the pizzas were really good and well worth the price. As an added bonus, if you ever buy anything off of the Amazon food truck and they are stopped parked in the parking lot next to fired pie, they usually have a BOGO coupon. read more

This is a difficult review ... food was great , customer service was great but..... the atmosphere was just bad .. the employees looked overworked , all tables dirty , all trash cans full , soda machine area was dirty ... and the employees were soooo busy that I felt bad for them. I ordered some red wine and they didn't have it available , so I took the one from counter and it was bad. I reality should be a 2 star but I believe that this place can turn it around specially for the employees. Upper management needs to provide more support to these young employees. Normally, I love fired pie. My review is not about their product but about how they handled a situation. My co workers and I ordered pizzas on a Saturday night using their online ordering system. When I arrived to pick them up, there was a sign on the door saying closed. A worker came up and told me they were closed. I said it's 845 and I just ordered pizzas online. They proceeded to tell me a bunch of employees walked out mid shift so they had to close early. I inquired about a refund and was told it's done by a third party; no one there knew how to do one. I called the third party service they told me to call but they were unable to find my order. I called back the next day and talked to a manager who told me that she would look into it,but my card was still charged. read more

Disappointed with my experience after haven't visited a Fired Pie in a while. My husband placed an order for me to pick up on my way home at around 6:20 for pickup at 6:40. I happened to get there early and asked for my order, but wasn't ready yet so I waited (no problem, I understood I was early). Fast forward about 20 min later and I realized no one has approached me about my order and that others who had walked up and ordered in the time I had been waiting were beginning to get their orders. I was troubled so I walked up and was able to catch someone walking by to ask about my order, which turns out had been done and was sitting in the warmer for an unknown amount of time. So, not only did I sit unnecessarily waiting for longer than needed, but my pizza was pretty cold by the time I got it home and then the cherry on top is that my order was missing two of the toppings I requested. read more

It appears they had a new guy working today that systematically destroyed mine and 2 other pizzas i purchased. A friend of mine and I went here last week for the first time and the entire experience was mediocre at best. The staff seemed overwhelmed. If they'd pick a spot and stick to it, things would probably move much more smoothly. The line took much longer than similar restaurants I've been to. We ordered the cauliflower crust with veggie toppings and a regular crust with pepperoni, black olives, and pineapple. When we ordered the cauliflower crust, the girl making the pizzas asked if we needed her to change out her gloves (which we didn't), but then we noticed that as the pizzas move down the line, all kinds of ingredients (meat/gluten/etc) come in contact with everyone else's gloves and then they use the same pizza cutter for all pizzas, so beware if you have any kind of food intolerance. Our pizzas didn't take very long to come out and seemed cooked thoroughly, however, they were not even warm by the time they got to our table for some reason. Each bite was good, but I found myself feeling like it would be so much better if it was even slightly warm. They would have been better had we had done takeout and reheated them at home. The pepperoni was the best tasting topping, but the cauliflower crust was decent also. Because the line was still a mess when we were done with our meal, I decided to order a small pizookie for take-out via the Yelp app. Again, when we sat down to eat it (still at the restaurant, maybe 1-2 minutes after getting it from the front counter), it was not really warm. The pan it was cooked in was bent all weird and it seems like the broiled it to toast the top of the cookie, but then underneath that the dough was basically still raw. We ended up not eating most of it because we were concerned about food poisoning (uncooked egg in the dough). With all the other quick pizza spots in the area, I doubt I'll feel a need to go back to this one. read more
