If nothing better than 2 days of back-to-back fired lunch
    Mario M.

So I have been coming to fired pie since they came to Arizona and they never miss. I really enjoy the pizza EVERY TIME because I am a crust guy and I narrow it down to how dough is made Not only that but they have the option that I like Kalamata olives, black olives pesto, feta salami pepperoni and bacon bits spicy sausage barbecue topping ranch topping garlic oil etc When I go looking for pizza I look for specific things and usually fired pie hits on all cylinders every time so that's why I'm going to continue coming When you get your pizza to your table and the pizza comes on a paper like presentation and it shows you that they are paying attention to your order because each of your ingredients on your pizza is marked with a black pen in the name of your items is what's circled. Not only that but they have a window where you could see your ingredients being put on the pizza and they're not "iffy" and tight about how much of whatever ingredient you're asked for They have a reward program through the toast local app and you can show your QR code as you pay for each Pizza and it all adds up The only drawback is I wish the lemonade were a lot sweeter cuz it's cold and refreshing wherever I Go whether it be Pizza,Boba or whatever..ambience usually is not a factor.. that being said fired doesn't have any issue in any of these areas to get people in the door it is what it is but since it's in Park Central it's trendy music and an inviting environment they want you to come eat pizza and talk about your work schedules your break hang out with a friend or whatever. The Park Central location has a"appreciation board or you can give praises say great things network with people I guess... I posted

I'm pretty sure this location is under new management and he's wayyyy better than the last one! He's super cool and the rest of the current staff is too!! They always make my pizza w love and I make sure to tip every time shout out yall fr

    Lil salad ------ super sad

Since when did croutons count as a topping on a salad. Ridiculous!!! The guy who made my lil salad gave me the wrong lettuce, then add tiny portions of the 3 veggies I asked for, so the salad was mostly ice burg even tho I asked for mixed greens and Romaine mixed. Then tried to charge me .75 cents for croutons! What a crock of crap. Won't be going back

Oh my word!!! Loved the pizza we ordered! Called order in, then picked it up to take back to air B and B to eat! The mushrooms were the best I've ever had! Just great pizza all the way around! Great prices too for what you get! Friendly staff! And a plus being able to park at no charge to eat inside, or pick up to go!

This was my first experience at a Fired Pie. The location is in a unique area with a beautiful courtyard (if you walk around the area, you'll see some awesome cacti) and plenty of parking (at least that was the case on a Saturday). I had the spring mix salad with roasted veggies. The roasted veggies had no crispness to them. If you like your veggies soggy, you'll like these. For me, leaving the soggy veggies off would have made it a better salad. The salad was huge, though, and it ended up being passed around our table but evidently was thrown away. I did have a slice of the Hawaiian pizza from another member of my party and that was ok, but not anything special, more like a frozen pizza from a grocery store.

    Cheers!
    John B.

This Fired Pie is hidden away on Central but it does have a huge parking lot. This is not where you go for a romantic dinner for two. Fast food pizza and salad for a reasonable price. My pizza, a Hawaiian barbecue, had great flavor, especially because I added jalapeños. Sweet and spicy with a delicious barbecue sauce. The rest of the group was not especially pleased with their pizza or salads. The decor is fast food. When we were there, there was an equal number of take-out orders as eat-in orders.

We ordered a couple of sodas and the same slices we ordered last time, pepperoni and vodka slices. The slices were delivered in no time! They were hot and crispy! I don't know what happened, but the quality just wasn't there. I could not taste the sauce on my pizza. It was non existent. It was like eating pizza bread with cheese and pepperoni. The Vodka pizza had no detectable sauce on it either. It also tasted just like cheese bread. I don't know if its because of different pizza makers or the new standard, but I was disappointed. I was very impressed last visit and even made a statement that the Vodka slice may be my new favorite. I was a little let down this time around!

You can also get a whole pie of your choice. They grate fresh parm on all the slices which I thought was a nice touch. The girl at the register seemed very knowledgeable about all the pizzas and gave us lots of details and recommendations which we appreciated. First we got the green, di Parma, and the Phoenix. The green has pistachios and fresh arugula on it, I thought the overall flavor was too sweet and the pistachios weren't crush enough. The Phoenix was good, very honey forward and overall the flavor didn't stick out to me. The di Parma was a cheese pizza with procuttio and ricotta, overall a little plain to me. I think they all would've tasted better hot, but I understand that's not super realistic for a slice shop. For our second order we got the vodka sauce slice, which was for sure my favorite. First of all it was piping hot, and that elevated the whole experience. I thought the sauce was so flavorful and savory, and the basil made a perfect bite. I would go back for a whole pie of this! I really liked the prices here, we got dinner for less than $25 for 2. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some other slices and get a pie of the vodka!

I won't add to my previous review regarding the food, as it is still just as fantastic. And while the old location had its charm (mainly that it was more intimate and a bit quieter), the new location is overall an immense improvement. First of all, it is much larger, modern, and very tastefully decorated without losing as much of the intimacy as they could keep. For instance, the decor on the walls makes you feel like you are somewhat at home, with photos of the Spinato family and other tasteful finishes. Everything is comfortable without being too casual or formal. It's definitely more open concept now, and bar-lovers will appreciate the full bar, as the old location only had a tiny one. The covered patio area is much nicer, and with an eastern exposure, it should bake in the sun less than the old place's western exposure for most of their operating hours. We were seated at a half-booth, and the restaurant was very crowded because it was their first Friday night at this location. Nonetheless, we arrived early enough to be seated without a wait. I will say that the food took a very long time to arrive--40 minutes or more--but I'm chalking that up to the crowd and growing pains at the new location. Our server recognized us, welcomed us to the new place, and was as friendly as usual, though he didn't have much time for chat-chat with how busy they were. Very much looking forward to more visits to Spinato's at this fabulous new location!

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.
