Plentiful Never Ending Soup, Salad & Breadsticks
    Edward B.

FOOD:( 3) Was mostly bland, the salad was pretty good and portion sizes were huge. Inflation hit this place along with many others, 32 $ for a basic meal and a drink. Had the Strawberry Mango Margarita it was very sweet. Bread sticks were good and fresh. Ambience: (4) place was bustling for a Monday (Memorial Day) table was a little dirty but overall warm environment. Service: (4 1/2) my waitress was busy, but had everything i needed in a timely fashion very attentive. reading the reviews wasn't sure what i was going to get.

Warm donuts w/chocolate & grape sauce.

The food was awesome, and a lot of it. Service was really good, we had waitress switched to waiter halfway through as she was leaving. Both of them have been very friendly and helpful. They paid attention to us. Ambience is great place is clean pictures on the wall. No complaints. Dessert was good especially the strawberry cream cake and warm donuts with either chocolate sauce or grape jelly to put on them.

Every olive garden is approved by Barry Halls. especially because of the chiken Alfredo.

We were in Phoenix to attend our graduation ceremony. On that night of our graduation, my friend wanted to eat at Olive Garden. I am not a big fan of Olive Garden. But my friend has two kids with her, and this is the place they can find something they like to eat. We ordered different things. While we waited, we were enjoying a salad, breadsticks, and soup. I chose chicken and gnocchi cream soup, and it was so good. I even asked for a second. My friend and her kids had "Tour of Italy" which came with lasagna and spaghetti. It was a huge plate. I had a lemony chicken dish which was a bit salty. My husband had classic lasagna, and he enjoyed it. I took a bite from his plate, and I liked it too. To my surprise, the food was not bad here. Maybe I should try one near my house again to see if they improved their food quality. Oh, the reason for 4 stars is that their drinks are not so good. It seems they don't put enough alcohol in them.

I have not eaten at Olive Garden in years. Today we had lunch and it was absolutely absolutely DELICIOUS. Makame was our server and he was ON TOP OF IT. Ambiance was great! The food was SO GOOD & the service was even better. I would definitely recommend this place. We WILL BE COMING BACK FOR SURE. Makame was excellent in every way!! Thank you

Ok yes I know it's a chain. I haven't been to Olive Garden in years for a sit down meal. I have a major exam Monday and I needed index cards to study. So I drive to Target and needed to grab lunch. What's close and interesting. I pull up Olive Garden and what to my wondering eyes appears endless salad and soup for $11.99 stop it. I call my home skillet Linda girl I'm going to Olive Garden for soup and salad $12 bucks. Linda is noodles anything. She's like I'm in. I get there first she's got to get gas. Ok so I'm starving since no breakfast oh yeah I didn't wait bring my soup and salad. You can try every flipping soup. Olive Garden stop it fluffy grandma is smiling. Soups that are the stars that Zuppa and the gnocchi. Olive Garden salad is always bomb. Linda decided ok I'm going to try this endless soup and salad. Ok why was she humming as she is eating the gnocchi soup (lol). She's like girl I can't go with you out my comfort zone you gonna have me come here for soup and salad instead of pasta lol. But the service Colin our waiter was just bomb hot soups refills in minutes. Linda's like girl they are fast and the soup piping hot. Then the hostess manager came to check on us got us Togo drinks and packed our food Lupe & Colin excellent job. Fluffy grandma recommends.

sitting at the bar waiting for take out. the take out girl was AWFUL. RUDE and very snobby

The menu features enough sausage options to think there was a factory out back. There were over 10 varieties to choose from, and after a brief existential crisis, I settled on the two sausages with sauerkraut. They were so good I immediately regretted not ordering a few more links. That's the missing link in my decision-making process. Then came the potato and cheddar pierogies. Naturally, I smothered them in bacon, sautéed onions, and sour cream because moderation is for people eating salads. Each bite tasted like a warm hug from someone's Ukrainian (grandma) who also wanted to make sure you never skipped a meal again. Just when I thought my arteries had filed for divorce, dessert arrived: a cottage cheese crepe with berry sauce that was somehow light, rich, sweet, and ridiculously good all at once. This isn't a place that wastes time trying to impress you with Edison bulbs, reclaimed wood, or a menu that describes water as "locally sourced." They let the food do the talking, and the food basically says, "Sit down, you're too skinny."

We got these fried dumpling things that were good but desperately needed a dipping sauce. The dessert was their like specialty cake. It was frozen and the food dye icing ruined it badly. Staff seemed irritated we asked for a food to be cooked in olive oil or butter. So we just said cook it how you normally do. 2 people, soup, mains, dessert $55. Wasn't close to enough food. Unique but overall a disappointing experience

We continue to be impressed by both the quality and creativity of their food. On this visit, I ordered The Pilgrim, which is essentially Thanksgiving dinner wrapped inside a pasty. It features turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and gravy. It arrived absolutely piping hot--seriously, give it a few minutes before taking that first bite--but once it cooled down, it was phenomenal. The combination of flavors was comforting and satisfying, and a little cranberry sauce with each bite provided the perfect balance. My only minor critique would be that the ingredients could have been distributed a bit more evenly throughout the pasty. I also found the gravy slightly more peppery than expected, occasionally overshadowing the stuffing, sweet potatoes, and turkey. Even so, this has become my favorite pasty at Cornish Pasty Co. We also tried the Peppered Steak pasty, which features sirloin, portobello mushrooms, leeks, zucchini, Stilton bleu cheese, and a peppercorn brandy cream sauce. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, especially the steak and the wonderfully flaky crust. For my personal taste, the peppercorn brandy cream sauce was a little more prominent than I prefer, and I found myself wanting more of the steak, mushroom, and Stilton flavors to come through. That's simply a matter of preference, though--it was still a well-executed dish made with quality ingredients. One thing Cornish Pasty Co. consistently gets right is the crust. Every pasty we've had has been flaky, flavorful, and substantial without feeling heavy. This wasn't our first experience with their menu. Over the years we've thoroughly enjoyed the Tikka Masala, the Lamb & Mint (which was a genuine "wow" dish), and the Royale. Those are all excellent choices, but after this visit, The Pilgrim has moved to the top of my personal rankings. Our two pasties came in under $20 each, making for a filling and satisfying meal at a reasonable price. We ordered takeout, and while there was a bit of a wait after we arrived, it's worth noting that these are made-to-order pasties, not fast food. Even though we only ordered a few minutes before arriving, the quality was well worth the extra time. My biggest criticism has nothing to do with the food. While waiting, my wife and I sat inside briefly, and we found the music extremely loud. During our visit, the restaurant was playing Silth, a progressive metalcore band. Musical tastes are obviously subjective, but the combination of the style and volume made conversation difficult for us. My wife eventually decided to wait in the car because it was simply too loud. The restaurant clearly aims for a lively pub atmosphere, with games available and a diverse mix of patrons enjoying themselves, so many people may appreciate that environment. It just wasn't a great fit for us. That said, the food is outstanding, the portions are generous, and we'll absolutely be back. We'll probably continue ordering takeout, but that's a reflection of our personal preferences rather than any issue with the restaurant itself. If you're looking for creative, well-made pasties with high-quality ingredients, Cornish Pasty Co. is definitely worth a visit.

Walked in to a nearly empty restaurant -- just one other customer -- and wasn't greeted. The AC was off with only a few floor fans running, making the space feel suffocating. After waiting 30 minutes for my spring rolls (in an almost empty restaurant), they arrived with no peanut sauce and zero apology from the staff. By this point I was flushed, short of breath, and feeling faint from the heat and poor air circulation. I politely let the male server know I was overheating and felt like I might faint. His response? He told me the AC was on and to "drink more water" -- in a rude, dismissive tone -- then walked away to greet a new customer. I packed up my spring rolls to go and paid without a word. He didn't seem surprised. It felt like this was a pattern he was used to. After leaving I checked other reviews -- long wait times, poor atmosphere, and rude staff are recurring themes. I'm adding my experience to save others the trip. Don't waste your time or money here.

I've gotten their beef teriyaki bento box and it came with rice, salad, 2 piece California rolls, and 2 pc fried gyozas. Pricing is $13-20 The beef teriyaki is pretty tender, flavorful, and not too salty. The salad is underwhelming and didn't have fresh greens. The fried gyozas were decent, nothing special. The California rolls were ok, not bad. I would say it's 7/10. The bibimbap was very fresh and delicious but a little pricey ($18.95). The bulgogi was marinated very well and rice was super crispy inside the hot stone bowl. Seafood tofu soup was pretty good and not too overly salty. It was very flavorful and the tofu was very soft.
