I am responding to Tracy P.'s review because I was dining at FIRED Pizza that same evening and was seated near this family. My experience was very different from what was described. The children were repeatedly running through the restaurant. One boy was also jumping on the leather couch. At one point, one of the boys came extremely close to my table and into my personal space while I was eating. The mother did eventually call him away, but this was after the behavior had continued for a while. The staff remained calm, professional, and respectful. They did not yell or immediately ask the family to leave. They simply asked the father to take the children outside after the disruptive behavior continued. This wasn't about children being children. In fact, it was about safety, courtesy, and respecting other diners. Servers were carrying hot food, and guests like me were trying to enjoy a meal after a long workday, not navigate an unexpected obstacle course. On a positive note, FIRED Pizza's food is excellent. Their monthly rotating menus are creative and worth trying because there is always something new and interesting to look forward to. The staff, food, and service have made my dining experiences there enjoyable. This place is its own vibe and the food is always amazing. The monthly specials are always killer and we'll thought out. The beer selection is always very eclectic tall cans from all over the state, and even Portland on this last visit. The owner is always there and recognizes the frequent flyers that come in and says hi. You can tell the staff are like a big family and are treated well and in turn treat the customers well. Follow their Instagram for updates on their monthly specials and you'll be hooked going every month. This review is a little late, but I had to share what a great experience we had! My kids took me to Fired Pizza for Mother's Day, and it was absolutely worth it. We got there before they opened and waited in line, and I'm so glad we did. The food was incredible! Everything on the menu sounded so delicious that we ended up ordering several different pizzas to share, and every single one was amazing. We couldn't leave without trying dessert, and it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Our server was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I enjoyed my experience at the FIRED pizza when I came on a Saturday! If you come and are hoping to be seating right away, come early because they get pretty packed quick. We came right when it opened and it quickly got busy. It has a cute ambiance and due to being pretty hot that day we decided to sit inside. It is a cute restaurant and they give plenty of water, but it was a little stuffy inside- maybe because of the ovens? The salad was nice and fresh as pictured. I enjoyed the unique flavor of the three wise which I had with vegan pepperoni to substitute and my uncle enjoyed his pizza as well. My uncle's stomach usually hurts after pizza but he said this one was good (maybe due to more quality ingredients?) . The only thing was the crust was pretty thin and all the toppings made the bottom of the pizza have a bit of a soggy texture. It is a bit more expensive for the size but for the quality of the pizza it's a fair price. The hot honey was not for me and I prefer my pizza with ranch (which they have as well) - but it's worth a try if you like to add sweet to your savory. About once a month, I come down to go wine tasting with my best friend in Lodi. He recommended this place for their pizza, particularly because they do woodfired pizza and he was explaining that their woodfired pizza oven came all the way from Italy. He was saying initially the owner was running it out of a truck and then finally bought this fish market and converted it into the restaurant you see today. I typically stay with the standard pepperoni pizza whereas my friend will occasionally try their new specials. But no matter what pizza you get the pizzas are phenomenal. I usually can only eat half while I'm there, I take the other half to go home and I kid you not by the next afternoon that pizza is already gone, sometimes it doesn't even make it through the night. I guess that's why my friend tells me that sometimes he'll buy two pizzas for himself. They have plenty of seating inside as well as outside, the staff is always super friendly and helpful. They offer beer, wine, and soft drinks if you're not looking for alcohol. There is not enough positive things I can say though about this pizza and you have to try it for yourself. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, they have really great specials that are frequently changed to highlight seasonal gems. Their fennel sausage is really good and makes a good addition to any pizza. The veggie forward options are always unique and delicious. This is my favorite pizza joint to hit in Stockton. I like that it's owned by locals & not a chain. The staff is down to earth here & the food is really good! My favorite is the Three Wise & the White Light (add Pepperoni). Don't forget to add Hot Honey! Highly recommend dropping before the dinner crowd (before 5:30 or 6:30). They open @ 4pm Weds - Sunday. It can pickup here during the dinner hours and they don't take reservations to my knowledge. There's seating outside with heat lamps available, or you can sit inside. Menu changes every month to keep things dynamic. They're also really active on IG and partner with a local shelter group - where they'll post pics of pets looking to get adopted. Been wanting to try this place since it's down the street. Opened at 4, we came at 6:30 and parking was easy. We had a reservation for 9 so we're seated promptly. We ordered 2 flat breads, 4 pizzas, drinks, 5 cannolis and 1special Napoleon. Total was $218, with gratuity (20%) $281.22. The seating inside was spacious enough to be comfortable. Our server, Jennifer, was really nice and checked in us often. Unfortunately no one really cared for the pizza or cannolis (most definitely not worth $8). The garlic flatbread and hummus were absolutely delicious and the Napoleon was amazing! I love the atmosphere here! We came early on a Friday evening for dinner service. I was supposed to see almost every table full. The service was fast and we were seated and ordered our food. We had gotten a mushroom and cream pizza, then we got the balsamic cheese bread, and a sausage pizza. My husband ordered a beer and I had a sangria. I really liked that they had outdoor dining with heat lamps and a nice little fireplace. Our server was attentive, funny, and friendly. I come here three or four times a year when I'm in the area with my friends, usually after wine tasting. This time, I got the Lusty Lady, but with white sauce, and it was great. I'm not a huge tomato fan so I'm glad I was able to substitute the sauce. They're always busy, we were able to get a table outside for a group of 10 right away on a Sunday evening. They had heat lamps so it was nice and toasty if you sat near one. Their cocktails are great as well, we always like trying stuff from the monthly specials menu. Fired has become a go to spot for me and my friends. Whether it's birthdays, date nights, or just a casual night out, this place never misses. The pizza is always on point, the beer and drinks are solid, and the vibe here is perfect for any occasion. Customer service is always top tier. It was a Saturday and pretty warm out so the dining room was packed. They have a good sized patio area but it was way too hot. I never made it back once the weather cooled down so now I guess I'll have to wait until it warms up! For our first visit we ordered the blistered shisito peppers, YUM. I could dip everything in that aioli sauce they serve with the peppers. For pizza, we tried the pepperoni and the Three Wise. The Three Wise drizzled with some hot honey is TO DIE FOR. One of the best pizza experiences I've had. I think the only thing I would ask for differently is a well done crust so I could have a bit of a crisper bottom crust. I think the only downside to that may be that the top of your crust might burn but I won't know until I ask. For you boozehounds they have beer and some interesting cocktails, LOL. I also love that in addition to the regular menu items they have a seasonal one as well. If you like wood fired pizza this is a MUST try. read more

Fired is a hidden gem in Stockton! I feel like most customers head about Fired through word of mouth since it's so hidden, but it's a great place to eat pizza! They have a massive pizza oven, a decent indoor sitting area, and a sizable outdoor patio. My friends and I got there around 4:30, and it was starting to get busy already! We got four pizzas total, with my favorite being the lusty lady. I love arugula on my pizza, and it being topped with prosciutto and burrata made it even better! The sausage and serranos was spicier than I thought, so I topped it with some ranch to balance it out. Blanco is nice staple, and my friends and I enjoyed it with some hot honey. Despite it being busy, the servers were quick and they brought the pizza out early. There were smiles all around and everyone seemed happy to be there. Went here for my birthday dinner last night. This was my third time here and I think it somehow gets better every time. I was able to call ahead a few days before and book a reservation for a party of 10. They were able to accommodate with no issues. Our server was great, especially since it seemed to be during their busiest time. Great craft beer selections, both of our appetizers were delicious. We ordered the grilled veggies with some type of aioli and it was spot on, as well as the meatballs, super delicious. Ok so here's what up. I'm not sure how this place slipped through the cracks. Maybe I just assumed I reviewed them when back in their food truck days? I was actually just coming here to update photos, but realized there was no review. So here goes. Fired has definitely grown to become one of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite pizza in the area. Gotta try their main competitors to remind refresh but that's for another time. Anyways, if you know me, then you know, I am a huge fan of Neapolitan style pizza in general. These guys definitely do a really good job at that. This is gonna be one of those few times where I just flat out. Can't tell you what pizzas I have tried. I think the majority of the pizzas I've tried from them over the years, not necessarily, including what's in the pics, have been there weekly/monthly specials. Back in their truck days, I wanna say that the specials were weekly, but when they went, the brick and mortar route, the specials became monthly. This definitely gives me more chances to try their specials before they are gone so I can appreciate it from that standpoint. Great place to come with a small group, order a ton of apps and share a bunch of different pizzas with each other. My friend and I pretty much always get a bottle of Belle Blanc by the Aquiesce Winery. It's so smooth and crisp; perfectly refreshing while eating those savory pizzas. Just off Lower Sac on Grider you'll find @fired_pizza . Checked it out Friday night and wasn't disappointed at all. Got seated immediately in the cool dining room in full view of the blazing pizza oven and bar, full of beer taps and wine bottle display. Tried the Terrifico Mexican lager, made with limes and sea salt by the Central Coast Beer Company in San Luis Obisbo! It easily met my cold beer meter. I slammed one and ordered another to go with the Three Wise pie made with red sauce, mozzarella, basil, pepperoni, with a tasty pesto drizz, and ricotta florets. Jammin! My family and I were so excited to finally get to try this place. Eating out can be hard for us because we have two small boys 2 and 6 years old. We came here for our adult daughter's birthday. Her choice. Ours boys were a little antsy during our wait. We recognized they couldn't wait inside and took them outside for a few minutes before our table was ready. We sat and we ate. They are loud they throw things or drop things. After dinner they became very restless. Around 8:30 pm when the place was not packed, they began running inside. My husband tried to correct them but they were being boys. Before he could take them outside the large gentleman at the front counter making dough told their father "you need to take them outside". I get it this place provides a certain elevated ambiance however it's a pizza place none the less. My family spent $350 here to be treated like outcasts. Setting that aside, our waitress was great food came out timely and she was attentive to our needs. The food was tasty. We had pizza, hummus, flatbread and meatballs. Unfortunately my family and I will not be revisiting this establishment. This is a space for your customers to provide you with feedback regarding their experience. Yet each negative review, you use condescending language and subject your past patrons to further their bad experience and taste in their mouth. You have a tv that is on. Children are curious to see if they could change the channel if that is even the case. You pride yourself on providing great customer service yet you yourself do not show it. You should be able to receive criticism from your customers. Your responses in no way show great customer service. Great customer service would be "get those kids some crayons" or paper to make a paper hat if their presence is disturbing other guests. Terrible customer service is telling the father of children to get them out. It sounds like your rules and postings should include no children. It's hard for children to sit for 2 hours without getting bored and we tried to calm them. They didn't break anything they didn't hurt anyone they didn't make a huge mess they just existed as children in your establishment. They were loud and busy. People with children have a right to know what to expect when visiting your place of business. Period. And honestly I would expect better from you as an owner that prides himself in great customer service and loves when people support small businesses. First time coming here to FIRED was very excited to try, one of the pizzas we loved, the other two not so much. Service was okay. We noticed they make you tip 20% for a large party, which we know a lot of restaurants do. We were only considered a large party cause we were 5 adults and a baby and toddler! Our two kids did not even sit in their own chairs or even high chairs. We Complained about this expressing how there should be more clarity on this topic but the owner was rude and super defensive. Saying "any living being will be counted". Then saying our toddler was running around the patio which is a complete lie! We would have gladly tipped an appropriate amount but were automatically charged a 30 dollar tip. This policy and the manager/owner response is the reason we will not be coming back!! Response to owner: Sir, the constant lying is another reason we will not be back. Here are a few things you are getting wrong on your response: We had a tiny lollipop that broke into small pieces. Nothing was "large" You are purposely trying to make it sound as if we left a mess and we did not. Also We did not once ask for a high chair. In fact I didn't even see one at the restaurant. My baby drank water yes and my toddler had a literal bite of food. Still not a reason for them to be counted as a whole adult eating a full on meal. They were sitting on our laps! We also heard you cursing to my husband!! You said your job isn't to sit here and get bitched at. Honestly, you have terrible customer service skills. I came here for the first time with my husband, aunt and cousin. All of our first times. After a long day of working at a local convention I wanted a place I could take my family to eat at. It's very rare I can find a place everyone can agree on let alone a place where I can enjoy a nice meal with a group as I am typically the only vegan. We got there what I thought was late, about 45 mins to closing and typically that is a dining red flag for me, however we received nothing but kindness and great service and food. I really hate that I don't have the waitress name, it was Sunday the 12th between 7-8, if that jogs anything. But she was knowledgeable and friendly and fun. On the way home we were talking about the experience we had and how we found our new "spot" when we head up to Stockton to see my family. I appreciate places like this that not only have a great atmosphere but kind staff and amazing food options! Our friends invited us to dinner here and I'm so glad they did! We had no idea this pizza place existed and were pleasantly surprised when we tried it. From their appetizers to drinks to pizzas, it was all great. You can tell the owners take pride in the food they serve and the service they provide. We were welcomed by the employees and our server was so nice & attentive. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. I especially like that they have two menus, their regular menu and a specials menu that changes monthly. It's a chill family-friendly ambiance perfect for Friday night whine-down. Food & drinks: We tried 4 different pizzas. My favorite was the Infamous Hot Boi but all were good. The crust is delicious and I like that it's not too thick. My husband's favorite was the O'Gnarly One so he has to make sure he gets it once more before the month ends (it's on the monthly specials menu). The baby chokes are a wonderful appetizer and I will order those again. I tried their sangria that did not disappoint. Found it by noticing they always had cute outdoor patio lights Ambiance: Indoor as well as outdoor seating for when it gets nicer in Spring/Summer with lights outside Other yelpers lmk there was usually a wait, so I opted for takeout, which was ready in 45min! PIZZA: Infamous Hot Boi ($21): My partner loved this because it was saucy, had the pepperoni and jalapenos for the kick, as well as the ranch drizzle Lusty Lady ($22): I liked this one -- nice and savory due to prosciutto but fresher tasting due to arugula and lemon olive oil they use Looking forward to trying more!
