I'm updating my 5-star review to 1 star. After going to Mandy Rager the owner of this salon, exclusively for 8 years and long, short, blonde, root-coverage, and even pink hair I am no longer a client of hers. After almost every appointment I raved on my social media accounts for years and referred, my mom, her best friend and many of my friends to her. Unfortunately, the last two out of three cuts I've received we're problematic. A few months ago, she added layers around my face that I didn't request. I requested she fix it and the cut after was awesome. Loved it. The last cut and her handling of the situation, however, was the tipping point. I have a 2 inch wide piece that's 2 inches shorter than anything around it. It's not a layer, it's an actual chunk that is missing. (Refer to pics) When I text Mandy to ask, her response (screen shot included) was that she didn't know what happened and maybe that piece was tucked behind my ear. Wouldn't that result in it being longer? Isn't it your job to know where the hair you're cutting is? Her solution was to refund my money and leave this mess for someone else to clean up. (Also in pics) Her customer service and communication has always been lacking but I overlooked it. But it's helpful for you to know before booking. She'll cancel appointments you've had scheduled months in advance and not have an appointment available for weeks. If you ask to reschedule or try being proactive in anticipation of inclement weather she doesn't offer times, just says "I'm booked next week". If she responds to this it will likely be a generic "sometimes a change of salon is a good thing." Well obviously it's a good thing in this case. read more

The entire salon has the best vibe. Nicole did my hair and as a blonde, finding the right shade is so important. She did awesome. Nicole is the best and will keep going back. Seriously! Would like to preface this by saying that I didn't actually get a haircut here, this review is based on customer service and my fruitless attempt to schedule an appointment. I first put in an online request last week, asked for a specific stylist who is mentioned here for her pixie cuts, Cristina, but also said anyone who is comfortable with pixie cuts would work. Also said that I need a morning appointment as I work evening shifts. I got a voicemail a few hours later from a different stylist, Debra, who listed off a few afternoon times. When I called back, I told her voicemail again I need a morning appointment and suggested if she doesn't have availability then, maybe she could connect me with another stylist at the salon. She texted me that no one had morning availability all that week, and gave me another single afternoon slot that she had open the following week (this week). I called the salon directly this morning to try again. The receptionist was very friendly but told me that Cristina isn't available in the mornings, and that they don't really have anyone else who's comfortable with pixies. She said, "Maybe Debra or Niki?" in a tone that wasn't exactly full of confidence. She told me Debra is mostly available in the mornings and wasn't sure why I'd only been offered afternoon slots. Tried to blame me for trying to book an appointment within the week, even though I'd been open to waiting longer for the right stylist. Then said she'd talk to Niki and call me back in a few minutes. By the time she called me back a half hour later, I'd booked an appointment somewhere else. tl;dr maybe if you're not looking for a particular style or if you have a wide open schedule, this place is better, but for a pixie cut or specific look, they don't offer it and their lack of communication will just jerk you around. Customer service was so bad that I had zero confidence in their ability to cut my hair, so it's a no from me. read more

Stylist was an hour late for my scheduled appointment (she was with another client) when I finally sit down and explain what I'm looking for she says she doesn't feel comfortable performing the cut and asks me to schedule with another stylist. No appointment available until a week later. I don't like to be rude at appointments so I didn't make a fuss but I was very upset buy the whole situation. I have 4 kids and only 1 day I can make appointments and planned this 2 weeks out this was a big waste of my day. read more

Cecilia IS MY GIRL. She's the smallest cutest little thing. She's so friendly and is a perfectionist. Been doing hair I think 15 years. And she knows my hair. It's texture, the best products to use and how to style it. I always leave her chair feeling so silky smooth and her products smell really good. A tad pricey, but the quality and results are so worth it. The coloring products she uses stay in my hair atleast 4 months before I have to go back and do a touch up and about 6ish months if our schedules don't align and she has to do an all over color on me. And we are talking ultra violet red. That is a very hard color to master and she's got it down pat. I'm so loyal to her. I'd even go to Kalama for her I needed to! read more

I found my salon!! Went in today to get a new cut and style and walked out loving my hair!! Lori was amazing, she went over with me what I wanted and wjat my hair could do. She explained as she went the cut, the products and how to style my hair after I leave. The salon was clean and the stylists were all very friendly and welcoming!!
