I ordered a small cheese pizza from Pizza Heaven. I was in the area and heard from a neighbor they have good pizza. My pizza was ready on time, as promised. Staff is friendly. This place is spotless. I brought home my pizza and dug in. The cheese is really good. It could have used more sauce. The pizza was really good overall but the end crust just didn't have any flavor to it. I normally enjoy eating crust but left it all over. It just didn't taste like anything to me. I might stop by again if I am in tbe area. read more

I've been coming here for many years. While they are much pricier now than they used to be and more than the average pizzeria in the area, Pizza Heaven makes the best New York-style pizza in Weston and IMHO South Florida. We usually get pizza to-go but ONLY if we can take advantage of their weekly coupons. We prefer the large cheese pizza, it is the closest thing to going to NYC for a slice! read more

Hadn't been here in years. I was surprised how empty it was but they do a lot of take out orders. The garlic rolls were yummy. The pasta fagioli was ok - I would have preferred a creamier and thicker broth. The pizza was ok as well. The crust was perfect but the pie itself was quite greasy. The chicken francese was pretty good but would have preferred more of the sauce on my pasta . Oh the meatballs I really enjoyed. A good not great experience overall. First time back here in ten years. The specialty pizzas are good buck at a whopping thirty dollars they have to be. That's at the extreme higher end of a 16" loaded pizza spectrum, so we took a long break from Pizza Heaven. Back today from a long fiesta, we ordered two cheese slices of pizza and a soft drink from the All Day Special for $11.99. The server was personable and very chatty. The thin NY style pizza slices were large with a nice char with an even layer of cheese but needed an extra zing with some added pepper flakes. The black and white tables and booths with the traditional Italian red brick backdrop presented a modern ambiance with a glimpse of Italy. The wine bottles floating against the wall with portraits hanging of old Italy were a nice touch. The open view of the kitchen with the stacks of metal dough canisters did not go unnoticed and screamed FRESH DOUGH MADE HERE. The gender assigned bathroom was clean and ultra modern, but was not consistent with the Italian decor from the dining room. read more

Was craving a pizza slice and decided to stop at Pizza Heaven based on some good reviews. I was in a hurry though so I grabbed a quick size to go. Staff were friendly and inside seemed pretty clean. They quickly got me in and out so that was good. The slice unfortunately wasn't great. Was super greasy, to the point that it was dripping off the slice. Seemed a bit pricey for the size and lack of quality. Maybe I just came on a bad day or got a bad slice but that was my experience. I'll give them another try but it wasn't a good first try. read more

We used to go to Pizza Heaven for 22 years when it was under the former owner. It was sold to this guy, Mathew, who has new staff, new cooks and no manners. In retrospect I am so sorry that we ordered four (4) different dishes from their catering menu and paid over $330. We I served it to our guests, everyone complained that the food was tasteless, with no salt and no garlic, or other spices in the food. I tried it and was the worst nightmare. I ordered food from another restaurant to be delivered ASAP. The next day, I returned to Pizza Heaven with all four (4) trays and dinner rolls untouched. A rude kid who was working there said the owners is off for the week, and made a curt and rude comment about my guests dissatisfaction for their terrible food. Pasta sauce was tasteless, AlaVodka was the same tasteless sauce on Penne, stuffed shells were covered with cheap cheese and Alfredo was too heavy but half decent. This will be the last time I will go there and DO NOT recommend it to anyone, unless you want to waste your money and go there based on nostalgia of the past owner. In retrospect, I am sorry I RETURNED THE ENTIRE FOOD TO THEM. I hope they will not turn around and serve it to other customers. Based on what this little kid said, I cannot be sure. read more

My son and I stopped by Pizza Heaven for lunch after his soccer game, and it was the perfect spot to refuel! I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious -- perfectly breaded chicken, great sauce, and fresh bread. My son had the large cheese pizza, and he loved every slice. The place filled up pretty quickly while we were there, which says a lot -- but despite how busy it got, the service was amazing and attentive the entire time. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us without missing a beat. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! read more

Worst experience I've ever experienced at any restaurant in my entire life! Chicken was undercooked and I brought it to the attention of my waitress. In response, the manager came to my table and was immediately confrontational. Opened up his interaction with me the customer by defending the preparation of the food and disrespectfully stated he would not be removing it from the check, which I did not request to have it removed. This is an overpriced pizza "restaurant". Customer service is a joke. Pasta is bland and lacking any quality. A can of spaghetti is better than this place. We just moved to the Davie area and being a pizza lover, I immediately looked for a pizza spot. The pizza and the food is good, absolutely no complaints there!! Having eaten here a few times now, I decided to leave this review. We usually get the traditional cheese or pepperoni large pizza and a kids spaghetti and meatballs. My biggest complaint is the price of it all. $27 for a large 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni pizza is a bit steep and then you add the $20 for a kids spaghetti and meatball. I have had better mom and pop pizza places in the area that are more affordable. The convenience of having this close by helps but just wish the price was more competitive! read more

1 Star I am…read moreextremely disappointed with how we were treated at One Italian Grill, 1342 SW 160th Ave. We made a reservation, arrived expecting to be seated properly, and were taken to a booth where there was barely enough room for us to even fit. The person seated in the booth on the other side had pushed their seat farther back toward our side, leaving us with an absurdly small amount of space. It honestly felt like we were being asked to squeeze into seating meant for children. What made the experience unacceptable was the response from the staff. We explained the problem to the hostess and then to the manager, expecting someone to at least TRY to find a reasonable solution. Instead, the manager basically gave us a flat "No, we don't have anything else." No attempt to move us. No offer to wait a few minutes for another table. No attempt to adjust the seating, check another section, or come up with any alternative whatsoever. That was especially frustrating because, from what we could see, there appeared to be multiple possible options in the restaurant. Even if those tables were unavailable for some reason, a manager should be able to explain that and make some effort to accommodate guests -- especially guests who made a reservation. The lack of concern was worse than the seating problem itself. Things happen in restaurants. Tables get moved, seating gets tight, and reservations don't always go perfectly. What separates good customer service from bad customer service is how management responds when there is a problem. Here, the response was essentially: No. Nothing we can do. Deal with it. We came there intending to have a nice dinner and spend money at this restaurant. Instead, we were made to feel like our reservation and our comfort meant absolutely nothing. A reservation should mean more than simply having your name on a list. If you cannot provide reasonable seating for a reserved guest, the very least you can provide is basic courtesy, communication, and an attempt to find a solution. Unfortunately, we received none of that. Extremely poor customer service and an incredibly disappointing first impression.

Others ordered the salmon salad, which looked incredible, and several kinds of different pizzas that all looked equally delicious. Our server brought us individual checks without our even asking, which I was impressed by considering there were eight of us. The ambiance of this spot is charming as well. The restaurant space has been extended since I've been here. Back in the day it was one large table and small tables close together. Now, the space has been doubled and it's comfortable.
