Worked here for 6 months, from the day we (they) opened. Helped open, trained with everyone. It was such an amazing place to work and I ate a sandwhich every shift I worked and never once got tired of the food there. I have dreams about those sandwhiches. 2nd visit now. Cool that they added "small" to the sizes... I just get stuffed eating any more. I really like it when a place adds a less-expensive option, rather than what Fresh Grill recently did by adding "free fries" to every burger and then jacking the price up by 60%. Not going back there, sadly. Here, perfect service, smiling faces, very polite, picked up the trays immediately after we were done. Only very slight complaint was that it seemed to take longer than we thought, as it seemed to be only medium-busy when we were there but it could have been a few minutes quicker we thought. Went in today and had a hot pastrami and corned beef, I thought it was excellent, The only other good hot pastrami around is Togos. It was a big sandwich and the service was very friendly and helpful, The pickle that comes with it was also very good and crunchy. Try there hot sauce while you are there, I enjoyed enough to buy a bottle to take home. I will certainly return. read more

Bad customer service. They have about 12 high school kids working yet it still takes 15ish minutes to make a sandwich. Huh? Ontop of that the order was wrong - I ordered a steak and cheese got home and it was just a dry steak sandwich with no cheese, dressing, or lettuce-nothing. Didn't get a receipt either when I paid. Went here with my spouse and our subs did not get to us - after 20 minutes I asked what was up and they searched for the order slip and it was not found - after a 27 minute wait, we had our subs. The manager gave us two free sub coupons, but when we went to redeem them we were told we could not use both of them on the same visit. What a crappy way to treat customers. I decided not to use the coupons and walked out - I'll give the free sub coupons to a homeless person. read more

A definite worthwhile sub sammich! My go to has always been the Smokehouse beef & cheddar. I had the New York Steamer sub today, and it was delicious. About $7 for the medium. A little more spendy than some other chains, but it's worth it. The meat was tender, the sauce was perfect and the bread was wonderfully fresh. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. First time in today and it was amazing. I had the Italian combo with a drink and chips. What I liked about it is that everything tasted even. It wasn't over powering with meat or sauce like you'll get at some other places. They give you a sliced pickle that was crunchy and tasty. You basically walk in and order/pay your food. If you eat in, you just go to your seats and they bring the food to your table or just wait by the counter if you order to go. They have the coke freestyle machine with all the options. Including a cherry limeade juice that looked to be an exclusive to this chain. I recommend it. It's good to see more sandwich based chains that offer better quality food then subway. read more

Sure it's better than Subway, but is that really saying much? My sandwich tasted alright but didn't blow me out of the water. Nothing on their menu stood out as being high quality meat or cheeses. I think they're selling more on the firemen decor inside than the actual sandwiches you order. Personally I would rather drive to New Seasons Market down the street and get one of their sandwiches to order for the same price. read more

So we are trying this new sub shop in town and honestly not impressed at all. The sub itself was tiny and lacked quality meats. Entire portion seemed the bare minimum, which a 12" sub should be filling yet I felt 75% filled after leaving. When I can usually barely finish a Jimmy Johns sub or even a Subway sandwich. Jersey Mikes along with a local few shops are twice as good. I won't be coming back but wish the business the best in luck. read more

Super yummy! I don't think I've had a better sandwich in a real long time. Service was quick and friendly and they have one of those soda machines that have everything. I know, lots of places have em now but it was my first time:) Anyway the New Yorker was excellent...don't let it sit too long or your bread will get soggyish. Still yummy tho:D read more

I agree with the other reviews - food is good but not a good price. Two combo meals cost us a little over $18 and afterwards we went to Five Guys for some fries. The pictures of the sandwiches are deceiving. Cute theme, YAY firemen, I could see little kids liking the décor, but they are definitely adult prices. Two out of three times were good; Unfortunately Monday afternoon was terrible. I had picked up 2 large pastrami subs, because of my good experiences on the weekend for my co-workers. The service was great, however I noticed that my order seemed light for $24.98. When I brought it back to work, they were very disappointed and told me they would never get food from Firehouse subs because it wasn't worth $25. Word of advice; get mediums because larges are light on meat for the larges, definitely not worth $12.49 each. read more

My husband and I stopped in recently and tried their Chef's choice Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious. We were very happy with our service and food. The beverage area was a bit confusing, but we figured it out enough to get our drinks though not necessarily the drinks we wanted. The Coke machine takes some getting use to. All in all it was a good place for a hot sub. We loved the menu. We will be back . read more

My first Firehouse experience was in Georgia a few years ago and, because of that, I am so happy they've come this way! Unique subs, fresh ingredients, an array of hot sauces to suit just about anyone, quick service that's always been correct, and a clean establishment is what they have to offer. I love Firehouse. Hot or cold subs, they're the Best! My first time in I was immediately greeted "Welcome to Firehouse!" and pleased to see how clean everything was considering they just had a huge lunch rush storm the place. An employee helped me through the menu and I decided on the famous Hook and Ladder. Wow, they actually pile the meat on at this place! I was very happy with my sub and cold take all day explaining this amazing drink dispenser they have. They have every flavor of everything. I cant wait to bring my nephews just to get cherry root beer or grape sprite ha ha. They also support our local firemen and I am all about supporting local. Especially the men and women putting their lives on the line. We have to take care of our own. Good work Firehouse! The staff was nice the food was great, I'll be back. read more

I was just in this location for the first time today. I ordered the medium hook and ladder sub with a cup of soup and the person I was with ordered a medium Italian sub. I did have some modifications to my sandwich but I literally just added pickles, olives, and pepperoncini. There was one other person waiting in the sub shop for their food when we arrived. It took around 15 mins to receive our sandwiches. I don't find that ridiculous necessarily maybe a little longer than I'd expect with 2 people making sandwiches and the other person, not with me, was getting their order bagged up. Still not a big deal at all and not the reason I'm giving this review 2 stars. When the younger kid brought over our sandwiches he forgot my soup, also not a big deal at all. After receiving my soup I started to dig into my sandwich. Realizing there wasn't any of the xtra toppings I had ordered I asked the person if I was with if maybe we just had switched subs. He had the right sub, the Italian, but with all of my xtra toppings on it. Luckily he was okay with it. When I went up to ask for my xtra toppings they politely fixed it. When I started to eat said new and improved sandwich I then realized it didn't have the basic toppings of mayo and deli mustard but had the Italian dressing on it, which is not labeled on the menu that it comes with that. I then went up to the counter for the third time to explain what was wrong with my sandwich. They took the mistake sandwich back and apologized. The real kicker and the reason I'm even leaving a review is that while fixing my sandwich the two people making subs were discussing what was wrong now with my sandwich and the one guy who originally delivered my sandwich said that I must have been eating my partners sandwich and didn't even realize.. I understand why someone might make fun of a customer but maybe you should do it where they can't hear you? I'd give this place another try even after it took 3 times to get the sandwich I originally ordered if they hadn't had talked poorly about me in front of me. read more

Horrible service. My order was taking so long. Finally a woman told me they wanted to get me"fresh bread" So they had to remake it, which took even longer. Finally opened up my sandwich (I did "to go") and it was wrong! I ordered no mustard, no onions. I got onions and I got no tomatoes. Omg! When the guy called out my order he said "No mustard no tomotoes". I asked him excuse me? And he repeated my order on the ticket, which I did not get. Horrible service.
