I had just called to place an order at 8:30 to the employee on the phone said they stop taking orders at 8:30 kind of ridiculous.

I went to this place for the first time over the weekend and I was throughly impressed. The three guys behind the counter greeted me upon walking in and were polite the whole time. I got the large Italian sandwich on wheat, although pretty much each sandwich looked really appetizing. The sandwich was delicious and a huge portion. They have tons of hot sauces for your sandwich and even have them labeled on a scale of how hot they are. Pretty cool considering how I've never heard of some of them but I opted for their in house sandwich sauce which wasn't really spicy but had a pleasant flavor and really added to the sandwich. Needless to say when I want a sandwich in the future I'll skip subway and Jimmy Johns and come to fire house. read more

Excellent sandwich. Had the club, the roll was soft and fresh. Plenty of meat and veggies. Hot meat cold veggies perfect. No wilted lettuce for me! Fully involved which is lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo, no mustard on this sandwich because of the peppercorn ranch already on it. Pickle spear on the side. The medium was so big I gave my hubby the other half, don't get me wrong I could have finished because it was great! Opted to not stuff myself. They have about a half a dozen different barbecue and or chile sauces line up on the half wall for you to try; but my sandwich is so perfect I don't want to ruin it. Decent sweet tea a little watered down for my tastes; because you all know how I like my tea! Soda dispenser is one of those that has a screen and you choose your soda. Overall great experience, I will say I feel bad for whomever bought this franchise the location is not great. I always forget it is there. Definitely disappointed..... I love firehouse but to have more than two screw ups on an order is pathetic . I ordered a smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket and a hook and ladder. Got to my car to make sure the receipt was right .... The girl put down a hero instead of a brisket ! So I went back inside to make sure they were making a brisket . All the other employees heard me say brisket so they were thankfully already making it . That's screw up one . Screw up two I ordered a hook and ladder with only mayo and lettuce . When it gets to the car I check to make sure everything's right since the receipt was wrong .... My hook and latter had meat and cheese that's it .... By this point I'm frustrated and send my husband in and he said they fixed it I was like thank you . When we get home .... They only put lettuce on my sandwich no mayo .. It might be my pregnancy hormones it might be I used to work there and the job is easy . BUT THREE SCREW UPS IN ONE ORDER IS PATHETIC YALL . And no apology for any of it . Their sub sandwiches are tasty! Each time I visit here, their food never disappoints! It makes lunch with my dad Awesome!!

We visited this location on a Friday night, it was very slow but cashier was taking an order over the phone so we waited patiently without her ever acknowledging us. She took our order but her customer service lacked. She became very irritated when we gave her our coupon. We had the coupon sitting on the counter the entire time had she looked up just once she would have seen this. That concerns me, our baseball players are selling these coupons and if this is the kind of customer service people are going to receive we may need to rethink this. We decided to try one more time in hopes that it was just a bad night.... unfortunately it was just as bad only this time the place was filthy. Had they been busy maybe we could understand but they weren't, they were standing around talking when we walked in. We were not greeted at all, same unhappy cashier took our order and the wait was ridiculous. It's really unfortunate, the food is great but the customer service has ruined us Well I didn't think it could get any worse but firehouse was the request tonight so I caved... we ordered online, went to pick it up, same RUDE cashier was there. Brought our order home, was not correct at all! This time I called up there and was told sorry the only thing I can say is we had a long line and I'm not going to argue with you about this over the phone! Absolutely shocked to say the least. Asked for the managers name and number was given most likely a bogus number since it goes straight to VM. Since my first and second attempt to contact a manager or owner have gone ignored I can only assume that this is ok behavior. Disgusted to say the least. read more

I really like the sandwiches here. Let me start by saying that. However, I have never gone in here to eat where there wasn't at least one issue. At least twice in the past I have had to ask them to refill the Dr Pepper cartridges in their high tech soda machine. That's the only way I even knew these dispensers took cartridges. This time I asked one of the young people on the line if he could refill it. He asked the manager who simply replied, "been out of Dr Pepper two days. Straight up out." So I replied just straight up out. He said that they were out till Monday. Now I understand running out. But hey, we are in Texas, home of the corporate office of DP. And at least say sorry man, can I refund you your drink cost? Or post a sign on the soda machine itself? Or tell the crew that "straight up" we are out of Dr Pepper. He also wanted me to add a specific sauce to my sandwich so after taking the leap of faith I was not let down again. Went for the first time after years of hearing about it because my little sister used to work at one. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised and pleased with our food. Went again for a second time after picking up papers for our new home and grabbed lunch to go for us and our girls and my parents this time. We both got something new this time and we loved it, again! Love the way the sandwiches I think more than Subway and about as much Schlotzsky's! We ordered on the app on Friday 04-02-21. Me and my wife ordered the cheddar smokehouse brisket and I added vegetables to mine. My daughter ordered the engineer sub with vegetables. We picked the order up and ate at home. I started feeling sick at my stomach not long after I ate and then early Saturday morning around 1 am I was really sick. My daughter came to me and said that she was sick also. We were sick all day Saturday. I called the manager mid-day Saturday and he gave the phone to his manager. I told the manager what we had and that me and my daughter was sick all day. I told him me and my wife ordered the same sandwich but I put vegetables on mine and my daughter's sandwich had vegetables on it also. He said they check the dates and that on the vegetables they had to get them from a local store but they seemed fresh. I told him that the vegetables were bad since that was the common factor on mine and my daughter's sandwich and we both got sick but my wife didn't have vegetables and she didn't get sick. All he said was what do you want me to do. That didn't go well with me. He didn't even offer to refund our money and we ordered the large sandwiches and had to throw half of them away. We had food poisoning from firehouse subs. I love firehouse subs but I won't be back for awhile. read more

After 20 mins I asked about it and they completely forgot to make it. Mind you I was the only one in the building!!!! Absolutely terrible I will not be coming back ever again. Never go on Sunday they don't prep for a church rush at all and then let the place go to pot .no wheat bread sweet and low for tea ice for the ice machine out only a few napkin dispensers had napkins they only had provolone cheese out of every other kind and they must have been low and turkey because my wife sandwich has four slices on it and that is not standard they use to load on the meat and there was no soap in the restroom and the floor all over was a mess , so I ask to speak to the manager and I could have guessed it was a 20 year old and he said he was sorry about all this and I explained you can't manage a restaurant during rush from the cubicle office in the back you have to come out and inspect and lead and if the staff falls short it's your job to fill in the spaces they miss and he did nothing 10 minutes later only the ice machine was filled half way . Restaurant never place a boy in charge when always pay for a grown Woman or Man to run the place Kids can't encourage other kids to do real work and most don't even update they still have kids mismanaging this store read more
