I really like Firehouse Subs. I have been to a few all over the country because I know I will always like what I get there. This one was very clean, it had plenty of seating. When we arrived there was a long line, almost to the door. We got our food within minutes of ordering. Everything was good, I love their pickles. I will come back here anytime I'd like a sub. I do like Firehouse better than Subway. Also, it is within minutes of my house. So that is a plus. They do have a few tables outside to sit in, and they will bring your food out to you. However, most of their seating is indoors. They have a few tvs, usually playing sports. You order at the counter, pay, and they bring your food to you. Over all a good experience. read more

I ordered online. They processed the order. Then they called to tell us they didn't have the food to sell. BUT, they refused to give us our money back. They wanted us to come back tomorrow morning and get the money back. We'll. No, that's not going to work. We trusted them with our dinner funds, and in return they told us to go without dinner AND to come back the next day. We tried to ask for a manager. They said they didn't have one. They sent my phone straight to voice-mail which was full. They answered with my husband's number until they found out that he expected sandwiches in return for the money he gave to them. They then hung up his number. Soooo. I used my husband's phone, & hit record. Then called them back using my daughter's phone. On the call you could hear them laughing in the background. They told me they were closed (at 8:30pm). They were not closed it was a lie. Then they laughed again and hung up on me. So, I took those recordings and played them for Corporate Headquarters in Florida. I was given a gift card and was not impressed. Got the chicken salad sub and the firehouse. Meat and bread was ok. Came with a total of 2 slices of tomatoes. Lacked good flavor. Have had similar subs at Jersey Mikes and Norms in downtown Charlestob, both were much better!! I'll take a Norms sub any day over this overpriced mess, plus the manager callede name and kind of flung the sandwiches on the counter! Service was poor!! Won't go back!! read more

Eh you get what you pay for in Firehouse. The meat and bread is of an okay quality and the sandwiches are alright. I was happy to see different choices in terms of chips from chains such as different flavors of Ms. Vickie's like BBQ and sea salt and pepper. Had a turkey sandwich hot and it was the grossest sandwich ever!!!! Bread was soggy, lettuce and tomatoes were soggy, pretty much everything was soggy. On top of the sandwich, the drink machine was a MESS! I used the ice machine and got an ENTIRE large cup full when I only needed a small amount and none of the sodas we working properly. You really can't go wrong here in my opinion. I eat here often, and can honestly say that I've never been let down. I had the Pastrami Reuben two days ago, and it was awesome. Typically, I'm skeptical of people switching out sauerkraut for coleslaw on a reuben, but they made it work. I did however, leave off the mayonnaise. I like mayonnaise, but mayonnaise AND 1000 island seemed a little over kill. This location, in particular, is a safe bet for consistent and delicious food. My hubby and I ate here on a Sunday after drinking waaay too much and being troublemakers the night before. :) The sandwich I ordered I think it was the club (again too much drink the night before) it was so delicious! It was hot toasted I think but man did it hit the spot! Hubby had the BBQ special with the slaw he really liked it too. My one complaint is the manager that was there had zero personality and was on the cusp of being rude. Will definitely return but I hope the manager is either in a better mood or just not there. read more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! 10/10 and the subs are better than any firehouse I've ever been to!!! Checked on me and knew my name because I'm a rewards member!! The manager walked around and asked everyone how their sub was and asked if they needed anything. Ensuring every guest was greeted at the door and was given a goodbye on the way out! Outstanding. Too many times we all jump to write a negative review against an establishment/business, but never big on providing POSITIVE REVIEWS. This is a positive review for the Firehouse Subs location in West Ashley (WA) in the plaza (Crossroads Centre) where Total Wine is close by...near Rittenberg at Ashley River Road. I realized that I drive an extra 3+ miles to go to this location vice the one that is only about a mile away from me because of the past negative experiences from the one near Tanger Outlet, but the one in West Ashley has always provided me with a much better, friendlier and accurate service than the other. The management at the WA store and the employees have always been very friendly, and the food has always been fresh and accurate as ordered. From the "Welcome to Firehouse" greeting, to the "Thank You and Have Nice Day" as you leave is always nice...as well as everything in between. I am always an in-store diner and not a to go person, or take-out, so I do eat there. This location is always busy at the times I am there, but they seem to keep up pretty well. Kudos to the Manager that runs this location, Brett(?), and the entire assistant team and employees. The sandwiches are always so good and tasty, and I love the Firehouse Cherry-Limeade drink in the drink dispenser. Keep up the great work Team! Thanks! Went to Firehouse subs the first time today. Ordered a regular Italian sub, a bowl of soup, and Mac n Cheese. Salesperson recommended the combo so I thought it would save me money. This was a carry out order. When I got home I only had a cup of soup but was charged for the bowl. My combo was charged separately and the Mac n Cheese and drink was almost twice as much as just the Mac n Cheese I originally ordered. Sub was missing cheese, had mustard on it and had way too much Italian dressing. Sub bread was stale and hard making it difficult to chew. I'm still trying to figure out the mustard. The Mac n Cheese cup was only filled half way. I was given separate small bags for the items and asked for a larger bag. She said they only had small bags. So I guess if you ordered several subs you would have to tuck them under your arms balance your drink on your head and kick their door open. I tried calling their phone printed on their receipt but I was routed to their mailbox and it was full. I filled out a survey on the receipt and when I tried to submit it said I had to download their app. I eat a lot of deli subs and this was truly the worst I have ever had. read more

Great food even though you usually have a little wait. Staff is great and was understanding when an order I placed via the Firehouse app did not go through. They gladly took the order over the phone, and it was prepared quicker than any online order I've ever placed at that location. read more
