I'll be honest, my fiance' always wants to eat here and I've said nah for years because it just looked whatever to me from the outside and I've never been to one before. Finally I agreed last weekend and I can say I'm now a fan! They are a bit understaffed and it took a little while to place our order, but I didn't mind because it gave me time to look over their menu and figure out my order. Also looked like they had an option to order online for pick-up, saw some people doing that so that's good to know if ever I'm in a rush. The staff was very friendly and they were working hard making all the sandwiches. I ordered the Hook and Ladder and my fiancé' ordered the New York Steamer I believe. We both made it a combo which adds your choice of chips and a drink. They have a cool Coke fountain with plenty of drink options. There were a couple orders before ours but it didn't take too long to get our food. We munch on our chips until our order was ready. I loved my sandwich. Got a medium and barely finished half, so I had the rest later. Had a bite of the New York Steamer too and that was really good. This place absolutely sucks when it comes to service, they are rude, don't know hospitality and the atmosphere felt very hostile between the employees. We came at 830pm they close at 9pm and you'd think we walked in right at 8:59pm because of the way they rushed us while ordering. We've never been here so we were asking simple quick questions and looking over the menu but the women at the register kept answering for my partner everytime I asked him a question about his order. While waiting for our food, the same employee rudely told her colleague to hurry up when mopping and while she swept she kept aggressively moving rhe chairs. I couldn't even have a conversation with my partner because i couldn't here him due to her being blatantly disrespectful towards us, the guest. We won't be back, be mindful, if this is the way the manager watches her employees work, which she was watching us the whole time, then I can't imagine the service would be any better at any point. A good friend of mine that happens to be a wildland firefighter highly recommended this sandwich shop, claiming that their sandwiches were superior to those of other shops. After looking at their menu, I was immediately intrigued by the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket Sandwich. The combination of bread, meat, cheese, and sauce was perfectly balanced. To play it safe, I ordered a medium-sized sandwich, but I'm definitely planning to get a large one the next time I eat there. Because my schedule is not normal, today happened to be my day off. My wife had seen a special they were running and wanted to eat our dinner there. When we arrived, they told us the special could only be used from their app. Unfortunately, there was an internet problem and their store wasn't able to take mobile orders. Bobby, who I believed to be the owner. Came out to see if he could help get the app to work. After several attempts, I was doubtful and that we were going to miss out on the special that was ending today. The low review is only for catering, the individual sandwiches are amazing. Ordering was super easy from the app, I ordered 1 Deluxe Platter and 1 Standard Platter (both of which says serves 10), plus a big thing of salad and dessert for my 20 people. Now that I think about it, I only got 16 of the Deluxe Platter (not 20 like shown in the picture). But either way, the sandwiches are pretty small and came with like two slices of meat. It's NOTHING like the usual Firehouse Subs I enjoy as an individual. The packaging was super cute, and the salad dressing came in a little fire hydrant bottle! Just wasn't enough food to go around. I had to tell the President to hold off on getting food lol I supposed next time I'll just need to bump up the quantity, because the platter DOES NOT serve 10. Came in to order a Firehouse Hero and specifically requested no-onions on my sandwich because my son has an allergic reaction; however, once I came home, my son knew the scent of an onion and upon further review, there was onions included in the sandwich. Set with an ecology of various eateries, the location takes care to make good hot food and choices. Alas, this review is mostly based on the purchasing and takeout experience, particularly by/for someone with an autoimmune disease. Went in earlier today around noon, and besides the restaurant being packed, there was no care to make sure folks were socially distanced and practicing good safety. I found a spot where I could wait for my food, but it was clear that I was going to be waiting for a while, orders coming through as quickly as possible. My food, however, hadn't been waiting in the takeout cart--the cold sandwich was sitting atop what looked like an oven. I probably spent ten minutes in the store waiting, but with the pandemic, that's too long for me. My mom enjoyed her food, but I hope this location can do more to help keep guests safe. I came here because T-Mobile gave me a free sandwich for T-Mobile Tuesdays! Who doesn't love free food? And what a great way to get people to try their sandwiches.
