Well, it's a real bummer to have to give this somewhat negative review but unfortunately, I have to give this visit 2 stars. We ordered via DoorDash so we still haven't been inside however, the service was great as always. There merely two things which kind of spoiled the experience. The first thing was not long after my wife ate just a few bites of her salad she fell ill and the other was when she opened her soup, there was a hair laying right across the surface of the soup. I'd heard Firehouse offered a gluten free bun and had been meaning to check that out. So few gf menu items in fast food that I'm always excited to check out new options. I ordered online, easy peasy with multiple options for customization. I selected pick up time of 11:10, at the end of a few errands. I showed up just a couple minutes early, pick up rack right by the door with my order. Guy behind the counter checked that I found my order and was good to go. I only ordered sandwiches, no sides, and online offer gave me a buy one, get one coupon! I got the steak n cheese with gf bun and a meatball for my son, the meatball sub officionado. Both were hot and looked appetizing. My steak and cheese was good with lots of onions and peppers. Bread held up without disintegrating. Son reporting I should have gotten him 2 and he'd eat there again. read more

The food was fine, but the large framed bald guy with the tattoos all over his arms had an attitude problem taking my order. When I came in, he was messing with his phone and I greeeted him before he said a word. When I ordered and took items off my sandwich , he was aggressively banging his finger on the screen because he was irritated. After he finished ringing me up, he said " screw it" and walked in the back. He then started talking about an employee to the guys making sandwiches in front of another customer. First off We bought a large & a med. Sized steak & cheese sandwich. The large and the med was not cut in half and was so sloppy with excess mayo we could hardly handle it w/o getting it to all over the place. I love the food here and they're always fast to make my order. However everytime I go here the bald guy with tattoos on his arm makes it hard for me to want to come back. I did an online order for me to pick up like I always do. one of my sandwiches was wrong. I called and explained I was bringing it back for correction. I get there and a team member name Amber stated she would lose money if she remade the sandwich because the ticket was correct. I explained it was not correct. she stated she would lose money. i paid for addit sandwich in which case I am out of money paying for two sandwiches and only gettong one. she was very rude and unprofessional. The one in Cottleville. The service has always been decent here, as has the food. Standard Firehouse. Same for the layout and decor. Same franchisee as the one on K. Really it should be four stars, but they still haven't brought back the bottled sauces they used to have pre-pandemic. The sad selection of packets they have now just doesn't do it for me. read more

Everything about this experience was poor. Placed my order over the phone. The worker taking my order had no idea what she was doing and I had to repeat my order multiple times. After I arrived, I paid for my mobile order and was asked to wait. While waiting, a customer waiting before me was told his order was ready, but the Firehouse team forgot to provide him with his soup. No biggie, over-site, it happens, but the next customer waiting in front of me was told his order was ready. As he was checking his order, he discovers his sandwich did not have any meat or cheese on it and he needed to go back to request the sandwich he actually ordered. A customer who ordered after me received her food before I did and then I was finally asked what my order was and they apparently had my order ready behind the counter and neglected to inform me. so it was slightly cold. Lastly, I arrived home for my husband and I to enjoy our dinner and my husband's sandwich had a white piece of hard plastic in it that he discovered after taking a bite out of his sandwich. We generally enjoy Firehouse, but after finding the hard plastic in our food, I'm not sure we will be visiting any time soon. read more

This isn't the usual FH we go to but it was convenient so we stopped in. My wife normally orders a hook and ladder so we are very familiar with it. Normally we would have super service. I tried to call several times to order a small tray of sandwiches. They would not answer the phone. I went in to order the tray and they were super rude. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. Can't give 24 hour notice if you won't answer the darn phone. read more

Details are everything when they GIVE you the options. This location is terrible at following direction and ignores all. Not just once either. Been giving them a chance for a few orders now. Never right. Always wrong. From ignoring extra toasted option to numbering sandwiches so ypu know whose is whose without having to dissect the dang sandwich! No more from this customer.
