Great food and drinks. Long line, but worth it. This is your standard fast casual assembly line setup: Mediterranean style. Ingredients are beautiful and tasty. The long line makes sense. SO MANY DRINK OPTIONS. I got a small drink cup and tried them all. Great outdoor seating. The price was good, no surprises. I got a hefty bowl with grains/greens with falafel/lamb. Great sauces and dips. The app is VERY good and the carryout was busy.

This place is pretty much perfect to me. I love the menu choices, the house-made beverages are really good, it's very clean and bright and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. They have unique fountain beverage choices like house-made selections like Aleppo Orange, cucumber mint lime, blueberry lavender, and lemonade. There was also freshly brewed iced tea and soda by Maine Root. The staff offered wonderful customer service and were very patient with me as it was my first time visiting. they have premade bowls and pita, or you can build your own. There is a lot of choices to make so you may want to plan ahead if it's usually hard to decide. I chose the "build your own bowl" with salmon. Everything was so fresh! I loved the option of lentils for added protein, and pickled onions really elevated my entrée. I will definitely return.

I would return and recommend. The food tastes fresh but since it's new have some patience. It was busy. Service was cool and offered suggestions when asked. Sat on the patio and the patio needs more scenery, flowers or plants maybe.

Great food and friendly service. Pros: Falafel Crunch bowl was a great vegan option (minus the feta). Good flavors. The very busy staff were very friendly. My husband reported that the bathrooms were clean. Cons: expected more than two falafel in my bowl, but I didn't leave hungry. UPDATE: I received two falafels because my other "main" was mixed roasted vegetables. The veg was good but I will probably add them to 4 falafels next time. It's hard to order because the music is so loud that the employees can't hear your requests. Kinda slow Too COLD Weird: retro 80s decor? Conclusion: Ill be back

I know, it's crazy to go on opening day. Here's the timeline: 11:39 line 11:52 inside 12:10 order 12:18 eat I have to say they handled it well considering how many people were here. I'm sure the crowd will die down after a couple of weeks. I did build your own bowl with power greens, tzatziki, red pepper hummus, spicy lamb meatballs, 1/2 portion black lentils, pickled onion, pickles, feta, fiery broccoli, sumac slaw, & lemon herb tahini. It was delicious. Cava is better than any other fast casual restaurant around. The only thing I really didn't like was the blueberry drink I tasted. If you haven't been you should go.

We finally got a Cava! I was excited to try it because I know so many people that live in other cities always rave about it. To me this feels like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle, but with more fresh ingredients and different mixes of flavors. I got a chicken rice bowl with power greens. The topping options are plentiful with lots of good veggie choices. I also appreciate the sauce options, as I always need my bowls drenching in sauce to feel flavorful. The Sumac Sour Cream & Onion Pita Chips were so good and great for dipping. Would recommend coming here during non-peak hours, as I've seen the line way out the door multiple times. I'm sure the crowds will also die down as time goes on / other locations open. Can't wait to try more bowl combinations here!

Let me start off by saying we waited in line a little over 45 minutes for our meal. I was very excited to try this place out because we didn't have one here in St. Louis and I've heard great things about it. I will say it was a great bowl and there are many options to choose from. The chicken I got had some great flavor and I really enjoyed the sauces on top. I just didn't enjoy waiting in line for this meal. Hopefully it will calm down soon.

Busy busy busy the line will definitely be the start for this wonderful establishment. Let me tell you about Cava, despite the wait it was amazing! The people were friendly, the inside was clean. When I say no one was eating inside it was literally one couple! I waited for an hour but it was enjoyable. I think on Monday I have enough time to wait again. Please build this Cava in Des Peres! If you love Mediterranean food or even like to eat healthy or sometimes want it a bit spicy this is your place! I'm sold! Well done indeed! Oh I got traditional Hummus/ blueberry lavender drink I will be back TOMORROW!!!!

First time to Cava! I got there about 10 minutes before opening on a Saturday. There were about 15 people in line by the time the door is opened. I definitely wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes for a bowl, but I would make a stop if the line is short. Unfortunately, the entire meal was fairly pricey. $20 for a grains bowl, side of pita chips and drink (near $4!!). I would absolutely skip the drink next time. The pita chips were a must. The protein was a few scoops too, which was nice. There was a cava employee for each section of the line, and everyone was in good spirits with answering the repeated questions with the first time guest. The inside is clean, spacious, and retro. There are even some seating options outside. Plenty of parking in a spacious lot. I will definitely be back when I want another rice bowl and have $15 to burn.

I'm easily going to burn myself out on Cava but it sure is delicious every time! Even with the line out the door, they seem to have quick and efficient service! I love the featured salmon bowl- just wish sometimes they would keep extra salmon stocked so they don't run out so often!

Cava just opened on Friday, and the line was out the door. I recommended ordering from their app or online and then picking up the food. We ordered a bowl with beef and another bowl with chicken. Both were delicious! They offer a variety of drinks; Mexican Cola was my favorite. The inside is spacious, the staff is friendly, and parking is convenient.

Walking in the building is nice and bright. It's clean with plenty of seating. Now it's my fault that I don't wait for the hype to die down because even at 9pm I waited in line for 15-20 min. But the workers were very pleasant and the line moved at a steady pace. With constant refills even at that hour. I do annuls your one bowl with chicken and it was pretty good. They give a nice portion size and plenty of options to choose from. And for the price it's moderate and fits what you're getting.

Soooo excited that a CAVA is finally (somewhat) closer to me now! It's a bit away from St. Louis city, but it was worth the trip, especially because of how much I missed CAVA! I've never seen a CAVA with a line going out the door though. I think I waited close to 30-45 minutes to order and get my food, which is not really the typical model of CAVA because it's like the Mediterranean version of "Chipotle" but I'm sure when the hype dies down a little bit, the wait won't be too long. The inside is bright and modern, and they have tables and chairs for plenty of people. Food was just as I expected! Tables were incredibly dirty though... probably because they may have been a little understaffed.

Once we arrived though, people starting coming in. There were probably 4-5 families for pick up and then 3-4 groups came to dine in during the span of time we were there and more just kept coming. I was craving falafel so I ordered the vegetarian plate so I could try a bit of everything. I read a review that said they had the best yalanji here and I COMPLETELY AGREE! My husband ordered the chicken schwarma sandwich in the pita and he INHALED IT. We also loved the fries too. It reminded me of halal guys. So addictive. I think it came with white sauce which was just as delicious. Wish I knew what was in it lol we were STUFFED, but we dined in so we could try the baklava ice cream sandwich and that did not disappoint. I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it but it was so good. My stomach shifted to make space! Falafel was perfect but again, the yalanji was probably my favorite part. I was so sad when I only had 2 left. We'll be back. :)

The food was very flavorful, but appetizer was served after the main meal meals were served. I appreciated the diced tomatoes dipping sauce vs ketchup... it upscaled the dish nicely. The fries were golden brown and tasty. The gyro was good. The black coffee was strong and hot. The place needs another server to increase the business during the lunch rush. The one waitress did a great job, but the place is large... for a couple of hours they could use another staff member. The kitchen staff needs more people. The falafel. And coffee should have been made first-then the sandwiches. I believe this was the because of skeleton crew idea of management. Even the entrance was not located under their sign, but located under a Hertz sign. Overall- the name sounds like a "fast-service casual" place, but owners never worked out the kinks yet. I am a fan otherwise. I can see what the place could become.

It was covered in white sauce, the meat slices were generous, and the rice was so nicely cooked and fluffy. My husband loved the gyro and was REALLY into the tzatziki. The hummus was so good, but it was much more than chickpeas. It was topped with an herb that I couldn't place, and I swear it had orange blossom in it. I absolutely look forward to their roasted chicken on our next visit!

Later that morning, I decided we should go there for lunch since Ms T was out to lunch (literally, this time) with a friend. As a result, KT and I ended up at Dinar, a first time for me. I have driven by many, many times and have not taken the time to investigate. I kind of assumed it was Indian cuisine or maybe pan-Mediterranean. I had no idea. She told me that they provide a complimentary small serving of the lentil soup with meals, but we asked for a large serving each and shared an Iraqi Chicken Tikka sandwich. The soup was delivered first, and I must say that it is very good. It has delicious chicken flavor and is not really spiced in any other way, although there is plenty of salt. We loved it. I shook on a little black pepper and really enjoyed it. It is simple, yet so good. The Chicken Tikka sandwich was ordered with their Iraqi bread, which I highly recommend. This sandwich is something I would also go back for. The chicken is well seasoned and grilled so that it has a good char-flavor. It is dressed, with pickle, onion, tomatoes and herbs. It is flavorful and the chicken is not dried out. There are a lot of things to try on their menu. If I can't get Ms T to go, I'm sure KT will meet me there occasionally.
