I had the medium New York Steamer on a gluten free roll which was $2.60 extra on Uber Eats. My husband had a medium Italian. He said his sub was great. Mine was a little more complicated. I enjoyed my sandwich and I finished it in one sitting. That's something I have never done. I don't mind paying extra for the gluten free roll if I get a comparable sandwich. My roll was much smaller than my husbands and had at least 25% less filling as well. That explains why I was able to finish for the first time. I used to be a big firehouse subs fan until (this was a few years ago) they started reducing the amount of meat on their sandwiches. I'm proud to say they changed their ways. I usually get the hook and ladder. This is ham, turkey, and cheese. One of best parts of their subs is they come in between hot and cold melting the cheese and warming up the entire sandwich. Delicious! The ingredients for the sub are always fresh. Their bread always seems like its freshed backed. Out of all the sandwich shops I think they have the best meats.
