Jollibee is like the always consistent place (unlike their nearby competitors whom have failed me more than once) to get a lot of fried chicken for a decent price. I like being able to order online while leaving work and go to pick up. Quick and easy. Always nice to deal with. Once in a while, when i feel like more of a piggy, i like getting ADOBO FRIED RICE instead of WHITE RICE, wrap it in the crispy (spicy) chicken skin, and dip it in the GRAVY (thanks IG). I think after this I have completely forgotten that famous fried chicken chains exist. The mango peach pie is like how fast-food apple pies used to be fried and flakey and still very hot. As always Jollibee to the rescue for late night dining. We took a nap this afternoon and ended waking up late and hungry. We ordered spaghetti and palabok and two piece fried chicken and peach mango pie. It was a delicious meal and ended up taking left over Palabok home. The cashier did not take our orders anymore, but encouraged us to use the digital ordering through their TV screen next to the door. I use some of my rewards for the peach mango pie. It's probably took less than 15 minutes for our order to be picked up. The restaurant was half full when we left, but I noticed there were more people coming in. Upon entering we were greeted right away and the girl stood in front of the register ready to take our orders but being it's my first time I was indecisive. We eventually told the girl we're going to use the kiosk instead and she nodded. The entry way was spacious and clean. There were several staffs bustling about working and taking orders, packing orders etc... I wanted a 3 piece chicken with mash potato for under $10 but there weren't any options like that. They did have 2 pieces chicken with a side of Filipino spaghetti or rice and gravy for $12.99 but that's not what I wanted. It would have to be multiplied by 2 since there's 2 of us which would come out to $26+. Eventually we decided on a 6 piece chicken bucket with 2 sides which was $23. I chose mash potato w gravies and adobo fried rice. I wanted to try something unique and different than other fried chicken places and that was it. I also ordered a side of Ube pie and a lychee tea drink. The lychee tea were on point. It tasted just right. Not too tart and plenty of lychee flavor. Ube pie were delicious but the Ube filling was kinda runny. Probably cuz it was hot. I recommend they don't heat this up so the Ube remain a paste. My only disappointment was that they did not have adequate hot sauce for the chicken. I asked for hot sauce and was given Tabasco sauce. Like who eats fried chicken with Tabasco sauce?! Not to compare but KFC, Popeyes, Church's chicken have their own Louisiana chicken hot sauces. Raising Canes have their own sauces but Jollibee only have Tabasco?!! An Asian fried chicken joint could do better!! Also we told them it was a dine in orders, but the staff did not give us any plates. I had to go up to the counter the 4th time and ask for 2 plates. The first few times were for extra napkins, hot sauces and something else. They do have a self serve soda machines which is a plus. I asked my husband to go up and get a Dr Pepper refill but there was none and nothing similar so he got me root beer. Meh This venue is in a big shopping center so there were plenty of free parking. About 15 mins after we ordered more customers arrived and the counter got busy. We were excited to see this Jollibee even more so because there was no drive thru line like there is at our local one. When we ordered we were asked to pull up in front of the store to wait for our order since we got their new mango frozen drinks they had ti make them. Initially we didn't mind as it took less than 5 minutes. After we got on the road and got to our food we were disappointed. And surprisingly, their gravy tastes rich, thick, not water down like certain places and has goooooood flavor. I'm not a fan of their fries. They are always a bit soggy and lack flavor. When you get that chicken, dip it into the piping hot gravy. The combo is delightful. Also love their dessert pies. They are fried, just like the McDonald's in Japan, not baked. I didn't take pictures, but I got the two piece combo with one original and one spicy piece. I got mashed potatoes and gravy the mango pie and the pineapple quencher. I didn't get this delivered to my hotel via Uber Eats and even with that person having a stop before mine, my food was still pretty hot and fresh when I got it. The chicken was crunchy, the spicy ones my favorite of the two. My only issue is I wish they didn't white meat pieces but that's just because that's my preference. Jolliest Experience Thus Far! We went strictly drive-thru this time since we were running late and trying to stay on schedule for our road trip back to California. Let me tell you, I always get stuck when it comes to ordering, but I was really happy that the girl taking our order gave helpful recommendations. We went with the 12-piece chicken and 5 sides for $52.00. Sure, it made me cringe a bit knowing it'd cost less on the mother island but honestly, it was worth it. Say what you want about Jollibee but my toddler and I had a good experience getting chicken tenders here. Normally I'd be getting the fried chicken but with a toddler, fried chicken tenders (ie no bones) was a better choice. Service was slow and the cashiers were young kids who didn't know much but I didn't come here for the service. The tenders were fried fresh and tasted really good! The sauce gives Canes a run for their money. Also got the taro and peach mango pies. I like the sweet tangy peach mango more than taro but family likes both.
