My order was finished within five minutes of my app order while standing outside of the restaurant. The staff was fast and friendly, and I can see them working hard on possibly phone orders are pick up orders that were made ahead of time. I stopped by Capriottis to order a Philly cheese steak sandwich for my husband's dinner. This location is on Rainbow. I live in Silverado Ranch area but discovered this is one of their best locations thus far. The counter service was excellent. Upon checking in on Yelp, a coupon appeared for a free fountain drink. I redeemed it while there to accompany the Philly cheese steak sandwich. I didn't have to wait long for the sandwich. It was prepared and then wrapped up for me to take. The restaurant is clean and neat. It's brightly lit with a tv. There is plenty of seating. I know we will return to this location in the future. My husband said his Philly cheese steak was warm, cheesy, steak was tender, onions and mushrooms were good. Everything was really good. He said it was filling, a generous amount of filling. But when I ordered it from the location on rainbow through Uber eats it arrived with real chicken in it which is now going to go to waste because I don't eat meat... I like ordering Capriottis whenever I crave sandwiches. I enjoy the tuna sandwich, it is very fresh and filling. The Bobbi is also one of my favorites but order it more during the winter time. It has turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. The cranberry sauce can get a little too sweet if it's not spread out evenly throughout the sandwich. On our last day of our visit to LV, I usually stop by the sandwich shop to grab a sandwich or two for the plane ride home. Who likes paying for airport food if you don't have to?? I know I don't. This location was convenient bc its near by Sam's Club station where we stopped by to fill the rental up before dropping it off at the car rental. Capriotti's opens at 10am every day since we left the Air BnB early we stopped to fill gas first. This location is located in a little shop area on South Rainbow right after the entrance to Best Buy, Sam's Club, Walmart, and Seafood City. As far as the sandwiches, I usually grab a small Capastrami and a small Bobby for the plane ride. Ask for them to be saran wrapped because it usually goes into the backpack and it might get smashed a little along the way. Other than that, the sandwiches are good. So this is disappointing! After traveling all day, was looking forward to a Capistromi and Bobbi sandwich. Only to find out when calling in our order, that they were out of bread! This is the fifth or sixth disappointment from this location in the past month or so. Going to assume it's under new management because we have faithfully been coming to this location for the past 6 years without any issues. But in the past year, there has always been an issue when ordering at this particular location. It's sad to write as it's within walking distance and our go to location. TL;DR- Convenient sandwich shop located all throughout Vegas, with plenty of options to appease anyone in your party. Bonus points for the vegetarian options, as they are particularly wonderful. As per the entire menu, there's a lot you can do in terms of customization. Ultimately, it's a bit too pricey and food items that weren't sandwichess left much to be desired. Still- I'd rank it just above average. The first time Capriotti's appeared on my radar was about two years ago when I was delivering for Postmates in Salt Lake City. They had just opened a shop here, and for whatever reason, I initially thought they were a local venture. While waiting inside to get my customer's order, I remember thinking the place looked bright and clean, but that was the sum total of my understanding. Imagine my surprise to find out not only are they in Salt Lake but they originated in Delaware and have shops ALL across the country. Having thoroughly traveled our beloved nation, I was pretty shocked I'd yet to encounter them previously. Fast forward to April 2022. While on vacation in Vegas, we were looking for something quick and easy to eat before a night out. Capriotti's fit the bill, and having remembered my experience delivering from there, I thought why not give it a try? My review is really more of a solid 3.5. In these cases, I like to break it down into the good and the not-so-good, because nothing here was blatantly BAD). The Good: You can't swing a cat and not hit a Capriotti's in Vegas. They are EVERYWHERE. This makes sense because although the chain originated in Delaware, they are now Nevada-based. I think of Vegas as the land of strips. You have THE strip and then you have the never-ending line of strip malls. And you can find a Capriotti's on BOTH. So a major +1 for convenience, although your mileage may vary aesthetically. This Rainbow location is easy to find as, you guessed it, it's in a strip mall right off of a major road. But compared to the newer location I saw in Salt Lake City- the interior left a bit to be desired. Now, as far as sandwiches are concerned, there's something for everyone. Steak, beef, turkey, chicken, meatballs, you name it. And SIZING for everyone. You can go anywhere from a 5-inch to an 18-inch, although those big boys do get a bit pricey. But the sandwiches are the highlight of the establishment. As a vegetarian, I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to not only have options but options that actually look (and taste) appetizing. We've come a long way with vegetarian options. Back when I first went veg in 2008, you were lucky if a fast food joint would serve you vegetables on a hamburger bun. Now we have stuff like the impossible cheesesteak, which was so good I honestly thought for a minute it was actually meat. Super memorable, and definitely makes me want to try their other veg options. Now for the Not-So-Good: There's very little consistency amongst hours of operation. Some of the shops close down as early as 8 p.m. and others are still kicking at 1 a.m. This isn't inherently bad in itself, BUT considering how many Capriotti's are in the Vegas metro alone, it's easy to get confused. So just make sure you're looking at the right location. As far as price is concerned, I concur it is a bit overpriced. And while I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich, at the end of the day- Capriotti's is much akin to a glorified Subway, there's nothing truly revolutionary about what they've done. Another big letdown? The salads! This is too bad because they all sound really good. We tried the Chopped and the Balsamic Chicken (sans meat) and they were both super bland. And look, I get it- we did take out the protein. But, if the only redeeming part of your salad is meat...it's not a very good salad. This was a huge bummer too, because, for all intents and purposes, the ingredient list made them sound really yummy. But it was just so utterly forgettable. So there you have it. A solid, just above average, sandwich shop that's worth trying at least once. read more

This Capriotti's spot can be found on the west side of Rainbow Blvd. and just north of Badura. It's actually tucked in a little mini mall there with Panda Express, Popeye's Chicken, and Jamba Juice in the immediate vicinity. I've only been here twice now, but so far I am pretty impressed with this location. The workers always seem to be cheery and pleasant. Not to mention they always seem to be speedy about getting my order together! I really dig how they have decorated this particular location. They have lined the walls with all kinds of pics of classic Las Vegas! I love it! While waiting for your order you can see shots of the famed Stardust, how the strip looked in 1958, and Fremont in the 60's among many other vintage shots! The place looks very clean and orderly also. Obviously, someone is staying on top of things to make sure it stays looking so good! Whenever I hit any Capriotti's, it has always been either.. - the Bobbie - Slaw Be Jo - Capastrami Maybe one of these days I'll actually try one of the other menu items....but I wouldn't hold my breath, either. Capriotti's definitely has to be one of the best sub places in town. The Capistrami, Bobbie, cheesesteak, and Cole Turkey are all excellent. The cole slaw and Russian dressing they put on sandwiches are so delicious. They even have a veggie cole Turkey with vegan turkey. You must add their sweet peppers to every sandwich (which I believe are imported from New Jersey). Hot peppers are good too, but I prefer the sweet. The reason for docking a star is because they don't have more options for sub rolls such as whole wheat. While they have wheat sandwich bread slices, they don't have whole wheat sub rolls. They also don't have a gluten free option. Your only choice is a white sub roll. I've been to several locations all over town and the food/service has been pretty consistent. This was the worst sandwich place I have ever visited. We ordered a chicken cheese steak sandwich and a Iced Tea. The best part was the Bottled Ice tea. My husband said the best part was tossing it. The meat was really tough, unable to chew. We took the meat out of the sandwich and gave it to our dog. I called to complain and the employee told me, well that's what your husband ordered, so there's nothing we can do about it. Ok! Customer Service at it's best!!! This location delivers lunch to our office from time to time. The sandwiches are always decent and plenty of condiments. The salads are also well prepared and fresh. Judging by the wild swings from 1 star claiming horrible service and skimpy sandwiches to 5 star claiming amazing service and the sensational Bobbie, I think it just depends on who is working that day as to your experience. I don't care for Russian roulette dining experiences so I doubt I will go there on my own. There are some fantastic and consistent sandwich shops here in the valley to spend money at.
