I do uber on the side, I came into this location to pick up an order for a customer. I have been at it for a couple hours and needed to use the restroom... I went to the restroom and as soon as I came out, there was an older lady who was very rude. I told her I was picking up an order, she threw the bag at me, told me I had to ask to use the restroom, then told me to never come back. I've never been anywhere my entire life that was making it that big of a deal to use a public restroom and was rude to their customers about it. I then called to speak to a manager and I'm pretty sure it was the same lady, she said her name was Deb, and then I was hung up on. Please keep in mind this is at 10am.. I didn't personally get food for myself, but I have never experienced that kind of behavior from a worker.. an older lady at that. I was greeted as I entered and the two clerks were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. I chose the Engineer. It was a very good sandwich but had a title more dressing on it than I usually have. The wheat bread was fresh and didn't get soggy before I ate it maybe 30min after ordering. The sandwich had a nice amount of meat on it so will order it again. The friendliness of the staff is worth the stop. read more

It might also be a good idea of the guy that was sitting on the stool taking orders would familiarize himself with your menu instead of asking the lady next to him if they serve Tuna....and even she had to think about it. I tried out the Denton location a couple of weeks earlier and really liked what I had. In fact, I was actually craving the same sandwich and that doesn't happen very often. Since I was stuck at work, I ordered in through UberEats and tried out the Lewisville location. There were some problems, but I actually recall seeing similar problems in three other reviews of three other locations in the area and what they all had in common was they were delivery orders. I am not sure why you would get a different product from delivery exactly, but that's what these reviews are for, people! Though this company isn't set up like Subway where you add the toppings as you go and watch the process, there seems to be a different result when you dine in at any of these locations. Therefore, I would recommend you skip delivery and go in to a location. This time around I got the regular size roast beef on white, no onions. This is a six inch sub that comes fully involved (mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle spear on the side) for $6.29. I also ordered Baked Lays for $1.29 and a Chocolate Chip Cookie for $0.75. Let's start with the good- the quality seems to be similar across locations on the product. The bread was fresh, the lettuce was fresh and the roast beef was very good. Individually these are the makings of a great sandwich. It was toasted and cut in half and looked pretty good. The bad, and I don't know why this happened, was the sauce. There was entirely too much mayo and I like my mayo just fine. The last time I had this sandwich (in person, at the Denton location) there was a medium amount of mayo and deli mustard evenly spread on the top layer of the sandwich. This time it was a medium amount of mustard with a large amount of mayo on the top and a large amount of mayo (no mustard) on the bottom. The sandwich immediately fell apart and as I picked through it to salvage it, the mayo was congealing towards the end of the second half- super appetizing, right? What I could salvage actually tasted pretty good, so I am glad to know the same good ingredients can be found across the chain. However, drowning a sandwich in mayo is a real bummer. Also, they sent me an oatmeal raisin cookie instead of a chocolate chip cookie. No clue on if they ran out of chocolate chip or if they weren't paying attention. This actually didn't bother me too much and the cookie was decent enough. However, that's a consistency issue that seems important to mention. What if they send the wrong order or use an ingredient they were supposed to leave off and then the order is inedible due to an allergy or diet restriction? This came really close to being 2 stars, but the quality of the ingredients at all locations compared to places like Subway, and the fact that what I did eat tasted good, gives them a pass this time. It's the only pass they get though, I do not like to work hard for my food. read more

Me and my husband have been here a couple times, food is really good! Staff is always friendly and inviting. At one time me and my husband walked in when firehouse just opened so they didn't have much prepared. Our server knew we waited a little bit (tho we didn't care much since we were picking out the dozens of hot sauces they have haha) our server gave us a couple coupons for waiting a little bit to get our sandwich. Weve always had great prompt service but since moving to Lewisville, its been quite the opposite!! Several times we would go in to order and wait about 5-10 minutes for someone to ring our order. This last time 5 people walked out including our family. After not even being acknowledged after 5 minutes then a cashier walks to the register To ring an online order no eye contact or verbal excuse for delay, then walks away. Very bad service!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, there was poor service and abysmal food. We walked in to an empty restaurant and 4 staff members who were loud and rowdy. Completely unprofessional and ignored us due the the football game on the TV. They were discussing draft picks for next season and completely missed my order. Terrible customer service-especially for 3 pm on a Saturday. While we were eating they behaved like 10 year old children-quite literally yelling and roughhousing. Next, the food was gross. Soggy sandwiches overloaded with Dijon and mayonnaise. I couldn't taste anything but Dijon mustard. The pickles were limp and old as well. The restaurant was clean-but the women's bathroom rivaled for last place with a gas station bathroom, complete with a door that doesn't lock. Worst customer service from the DM of this location EVER -Iris is rude. I tried to remedy an issue I had with an online order that went to their store by accident (I called to tell them to tell them the order was sent to their store by mistake as soon as I realized what had happened). We had placed 4 total orders and one of the three went to the wrong location. I am assuming it was due to connectivity issues on our end but I called the store as soon as I realized what happened. When I arrived at the location that I was picking up numerous other orders from they told me that they shouldn't tender out the order since it wasn't picked up. I bought a new sandwich to replace the one that was sent to this location and didn't think anything of it. The charge still posted. When I called to speak with Iris I was met with an attitude as if I were trying to scam her out of a million dollars. Her condescending tone and rude demeanor ensured that I will never eat at the Lewisville location Firehouse subs. Since Texas Firehouse Subs locations are independently owned i only need to avoid this location as I order from this franchise a ton and easily place 20+ orders a month since I pick up for my coworkers too. I'm not sure what the owner's policy is on terrible customer service but she didn't seem to care about manners one bit. I bet she would never use the tone she had with me on her boss as she rudely says 'I'm not being rude I'm telling you' not changing her tone one bit. The conversation with her was overly aggressive. She didn't even start the conversation with a hello, all she said was 'what can I help you with' starafter a rude 'who is this' when she picked up the phone. I do need to mention that I called her earlier in the day with this issue and left a message so she was very aware that I was expecting to speak with her; she was supposed to call me back and never did then proceeded to be annoyed that I called her again. I have worked in customer service industry for a long time and I can say that a little kindness goes a long way Iris. All I was looking for was a remedy to a mistake that was made in the online portal and you made me feel terrible from the get-go for even asking for your assistance. I hope your boss takes this review in to consideration when your performance review comes up because you are absolutely terrible at your job! EVERY TIME we come here (this is the 3rd visit) something is wrong with the soda machine!!!!!!! Every time we've been there the cleanliness of the lobby is sub-par to "the firehouse standard". The napkin holder at the table we sat at had dried spaghetti sauce on it. Every time the food takes longer to be prepared than it should. The sauces dont seem to get restocked. Didn't get the food until around 2:15 (25 minutes after stated pickup time). I had a really great experience at this restaurant. This was actually my first time at Firehouse and I WILL go back again! I ordered the pulled pork sammy with the slaw and pepperjack cheese.
