I noticed Dave's only had about three cars in line, so I figured I'd give it a try. Best decision! You can choose your level of heat, and we went with Medium for the chicken. I got the chicken strip meal, and WOW--it was amazing! The chicken was moist, tender, flavorful, and spicy without being overwhelming. They recommended trying honey on the chicken, and that was amazing! The sweet honey with the spicy chicken was the perfect combination. My husband tried the Dave's Sauce, which is similar to a honey mustard, and he thought it was the perfect pairing with the chicken. And don't overlook the fries--they're seasoned and really yummy! Definitely glad Cane's had a long line that day because I may have found a new favorite!

The parking lot is a bit chaotic, so it dampers the atmosphere of relaxing in your car while you wait. Though, this seems to be a theme at every location I've been to as they are very popular. Even with the mix-up, the food was still fresh and tasted great. The burgers were made well, and you can't really beat how consistent their quality usually is. The employees stayed friendly the whole time, which made a big difference. Mistakes happen, but it's how they're handled that matters--and they made it right. I'd still come back again.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this Firehouse Subs location (1616 S Stapley Dr, Mesa, AZ). While getting a drink, the machine spilled orange syrup on my brand new white shoes, leaving a noticeable stain. These shoes cost over $100. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they offered me a medium sub combo as compensation--which honestly felt insulting given the damage. I politely asked for just two subs instead, thinking that was a reasonable request. They told me no, then still charged me $6.50 for the subs I was buying for my girlfriend. I've spent upwards of $60 a week at Firehouse before, often going 2-3 times in a week because I genuinely loved the food and service. But this experience felt like a slap in the face.
