The Cajun salmon taco was new to me and it had really good flavor to it and was very fresh and juicy. The battered fish tacos are always good and my go to. They're a great deal on Tuesdays as they're a $1off each taco. The food here has always been very fresh and tasty. You can order at the kiosk and they call your name when your food is ready. This used to be our family favorite restaurant but ever since the GM has changed they fry chicken, fish & fries all in the same oil. So there's cross contamination with meat products. This is not a vegan friendly nor a vegetarian friendly restaurant. Even the pescatarians can not eat here because there's cross contamination with chicken. I will never go her again. My entire family was disappointed. Whenever I would have out of state friends n family visiting this would be our to go restaurant but NOT anymore. Last month was our last n final time going unless if they don't have any cross contamination then I'll consider going there. My entire friends circle would go to this restaurant because the other GM always made sure that there would be no cross contamination. But this new GM doesn't care. This location forces you to use their touch screen menu system to make orders. What I found initially confusing is that their physical menu doesn't even show all their options; only their website and touch screen menu actually lists everything they have. What's nice is that the customer service is stellar as they come out and help with ordering (which still proves that in-person ordering should always be an option). I tried out their breaded shrimp taco, sea salt mango juice, and grilled asparagus. The grilled asparagus cost more than the taco and it was only a few pieces of it. It was quite tough to eat and was definitely the worst grilled asparagus I've eaten at a restaurant. The shrimp taco itself was pretty small and average tasting. Sea salt does not go well with mango but they had some unique fountain drink options that you don't see anywhere else that sported a tasty root beer brand I've never had before. I was attending the Mesa No Kings rally, and a woman was in the crowd, handing out coupons for a free taco, and inviting everyone to use their restroom. I thought that was extremely generous of a local business, so I went for lunch. Yes, the food is pricey, but it's also fresh and nicely prepared. I am a big fish and chip fan so I am pretty critical about the preparation and one of the main things I look for is a crispy solid breading. No I got my swai with cauliflower rice ($2.99 upcharge) and sliced tomatoes and feta. I thought it was a joke when they handed me my $16 Atlantic salmon plate. It's literally 3 bites. It use to be twice this amount. They gave me a 1/5 of a portion a fish when I can go to Walmart and get a whole slab for the same price. And they thinly applied the sauce didn't even cover this frozen, dry fish. Second time having this chain. First time at this location. Very clean, plenty of parking too. Walk in and you order off tablets which I really liked. Plenty of options of fish, but I opted for their Fish and Chips again which is 3 Swai filets. They have Stubborn Soda which I really enjoy for a casual dining option as it's different plus they have cocktails and beer! The fish came out and man this is really nicely fried. AIRY CRISPY AND HOT. I forgot to take a picture of the plate I was so hungry but man this fish is perfectly fried golden brown and the batter is super light. They have tartar sauce that's not bad goes well with the fish and malt vinegar as well as lemon. They also let you get other sauces if you'd like. Very clean restaurant and I think very underrated.
