When the Yelp ambassador emails you for #thankfulthursday you write a review. This was the first time ordering online to pick up. And I really didn't know wha to expect. First after I ordered it said it would be ready 15 minutes after. Then after I paid it said an hour after. We only ordered a salad so wouldn't think it would too difficult to toss together. And when I arrived it was a quick in and out transaction. I felt like I needed some rabbit food tonight. The salad had a generous scoop of turkey, cucumber, green peppers with dressing on the side. They forgot that I said no tomatoes though. This was the first time using the app to order online. We frequently eat often that we got a free dessert with purchase. Although theirs competitors near by ,known for their salads, for now Firehouse subs filled my vegetable cravings

Sometimes you just want a sub. And I would say that firehouse one of there better ones out there. I like that they added pairs so I can get a smaller sandwich with a soup. Yummy

I typically love firehouse! Every sandwich I've had is delicious! Today, my sandwich was not very loaded... some bites were almost just bread and Mayo... not very appetizing.

I generally prefer Firehouse subs to any of their competitors. So why the one star rating? Here's why: 6:15pm Saturday night This is the person who prepared my sandwich. No hair net. I don't know how he can tell what goes into my sandwich. Looks like a health code violation. Not coming back. Enough said.

    Nasty

The amount of chances I've given this location to not fail really says more about me then them. Every single time I try to order my kids a grilled cheese it's scorched. And nearly every salad has a quarter of the lettuce brown and inedible. I give up. Not to mention they take forever with every order!

The sandwiches are great! The service is hit or miss. Some of the employees can be very snotty and rude. Some are wonderful!

If we had waited for a table it would clearly be one of the best Rubens I have ever had. My son got a turkey, egg and cheese bagel and said the turkey was amazing. But I'm not as much a fan. My deli "go-to" items are matzah ball soup and brisket sandwich and I feel this place falls short on both. Soup is just ok, nothing special, the broth is pretty bland, matzah ball is fine. But it's moreso the brisket that's disappointing. I keep giving it a chance but every time it's the same fatty, unappetizing meat. I much prefer how the competition a half mile down the street does those two items. I'm sure we'll be coming back here again ... I just need to remember to try something different next time. And lower my NY standards.

The bread to meat ratio was completely off, I wish I had a picture but you got almost 3x bread compared to the sandwich insides. The wedding soup was so lack luster - no flavor whatsoever. Meat was clearly pressed and frozen and the noodles overcooked to mush. If that wasnt enough to keep us from going back, the breakfast was. Pictured is the $10 breakfast burrito. Has microwaved everything in it. We watched the guy put everything in a bowl, microwave, slap it on a tortilla and microwave again. Nothing was fresh, nothing was even semi-homemade about it. This one's got a cozy, small-town vibe, tucked between other shops with plenty of seating both inside and outside. From the second I walked in, I was greeted with big smiles and a friendly "Welcome in!" The staff here are genuinely nice and make you feel at home. Of course, I had to get my go-to: The Bronx Bomber: pastrami, egg salad, spicy mustard, Cajun sauce(my add on always) on both sides, pumpernickel bread, lettuce, tomato, and thin-sliced red onion. Absolute perfection. This sandwich always slaps. My coworkers saw it and immediately asked, "Where did you get that?" Told them straight up -- Mainstreet Parker, Heidi's got another location. Every bite takes me back to the NYC delis I grew up with and miss dearly. If you're craving a legit New York-style deli sandwich with flavor that hits every time (and comes with potato salad or chips), this is the spot. A must-try; and trust me, once you do, you'll keep coming back!

There were also three construction workers finishing up their meals, which is usually a good sign. Since it was our first visit, we took a few minutes to look over the menu before ordering. I ordered a medium sandwich with double meat and double cheese, and my son ordered a large sandwich. With chips and a drink, our total came to about $49. The food was good, but I was a little disappointed with my sandwich. My son's sandwich appeared to have thicker portions of meat than mine, and despite ordering double cheese, mine only came with a single slice of cheese on top. For the price, I expected a little more consistency and a better value. Overall, the restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was fine. I would give it another try, but I'd probably pay closer attention to the order details next time.
