The general manager is extremely rude with terrible customer service skills. She would not remake a sandwich or get me a cookie when it wasn't delivered. It was through Uber eats, but the checked by part wasn't signed. She said she wouldn't remake it because "her sales would go down" and "she's tired." I'm a server and I know bad customer service when I see it. Makes me wish I could negative tip this place, specifically that rude GM.

LOVE THESE GUYS!! I came in 30 minutes before they closed and felt really bad about it, but they assured me it was fine and took my order like normal! They are so sweet and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Great management! Highly recommend!! Thank you guys!

Watched employees step over this spill for over 30 minutes. Really! If you will do that, what are you doing to my sandwich.

Firehouse Subs opened near me in the last few months. I've been there at least 5 times in the last three months and I've been pleased every time. I usually have gotten the "Turkey Bacon Ranch" sub (no tomatoes... eww), and my husband raves about "The Engineer". My order each time has been correct and delicious. I love pickles on my sub sandwiches, which they don't have (only pickle spears on the side... WHEN REQUESTED). The employees are super polite and prompt, even though you have to wait for your sandwich longer than most sandwich shops, and there is no clear "to go" wait area. You have to find a dine in chair to wait in, then wait for your name to be called. The store appears very clean with lots of dine-in space. They clearly wear gloves while preparing your sandwich. They have one of those self-serve specialty touch screen beverage machines which I like. Lots of different hot sauces to pour self samples which they have labeled spicy designations, 1-10. The "Firehouse" sauce is available for purchase and sampling, and is pretty damn good!

Great. Humongous portions. I'd suggest you just order one giant sandwich for every two people.

Despite the ruggedness of the shipping container exterior, the inside has a comfy vibe with indoor and outdoor seating with cartoons playing on tv downstairs and hockey upstairs. The service was fast and very friendly with very little wait time. I opted for the Light My Fire burger because I appreciate The Doors reference. Don't let the name or jalapeños fool you, it wasn't spicy but it was absolutely packed with flavor. Between the wagyu, peppers, cheese, and candied bacon this burger was spectacular! The fries are, well, fries. You have a choice of various aiolis to pick from. I chose the malt vinegar and my wife went for the garlic. In my opinion, they're better with hot spice or just ketchup but I didn't come here for the fries. We also got the Strawberry Fields and Oreo shakes. If you've ever had the cake shake from Chicago's Portillo's, you might like the Strawberry Fields shake that includes strawberry cake swimming in the strawberry shake. Definitely worth it! Overall, one of the better burgers I've had around the Springfield area, so if you're out for a quick burger that's a step up from the rest, head over to Black Sheep!

I ordered a double patty ugly burger, solid cheese burger for kids and the foodie to eat in with fries and the garlic aioli and truffle aioli dips . I also ordered the brisket burger to go for later. Let's start with Service - inside it was fast freindly, helpful and informational. Enviorment - modern no music playing or background sounds other then the cooks which was ok but a little ambiance music would help. Restrooms - Older building with modern upgrades so bathrooms were clean but hot not ac cooled like other area of the restraunt. Food - Now to the main courses. The ugly burger was great veggies were crisp burger looked like an ad and tasted amazing on all options taken each with its own twist except the kids they choose basic and those tasted good too. The fries were good crispy and hot with aioli soda products chosen were good nothing tasted over carbonated or flat. The bbq brisket sandwiche was beyond amazing and itself even re heated to eat later was a star if only I had taken one bite hot and fresh if was over the scale great 10 out of 10.

Prices with the economy are astounding at times. Four burgers, one fry and one drink was $50, I really hope prices return to a normal level at some point. Competition breeds improvements. The Cheeseburgers do look impressive upon delivery, but I think the problem with this place is that even though I've requested Mayo and Ketchup and also on occasion Mustard every time I've ordered from here, they simply don't put enough on...so the burgers end up dry ... there is simply not enough sauce to make up for the dry non juicy burger themselves. I've closely examine the burger, I just don't see any mayo or ketchup or mustard whatsoever. Perhaps part of the problem is that I'm always ordering delivery and can't request extra mayo and ketchup in person to help counteract the dryness of these Burgers. I do see the potential for them be decent someday and the strawberry and chocolate shakes are great. However for me I've ordered from here for the last time. I gave this place 3 chances over the last 6 months. I'll be ordering a Dave's Double Cheeseburger instead in the future.
