It smelled like a delicious sandwich the moment I walked in. The employees were friendly, helpful, and made my order quickly. I got a small build-your-own cold sandwich on toasted white bread with roast beef to go. They have a variety of sauces at the sauce bar. I tried the Level 9 Sizzlin' Scorpion sauce, which was definitely spicy and also super flavorful. The sandwich tasted fresh and delicious. I enjoyed it with a bag of my favorite sea salt and vinegar chips, Miss Vickie's

I have to give this restaurant some props for being really nice to me when I showed up 20 mins before closing. The servers looked like they were putting everything away right as we showed up. So I'm really thankful they were nice to us! The sandwiches are good! I still think other sandwiches restaurants are better but Firehouse is not bad at all! It was a bum they ran out of tuna, so I just went for a classic sandwich. It was good and I like they give you a pickle on the side. In my opinion, they don't have a lot of options but it's fine.

Great tasting sandwich, the hook and ladder is my favorite. No problems here. Walked in a few minutes after 12 noon and only one person sitting down eating. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Low music playing in the background. Unfortunately, this location is hidden. You can't see it from its cross streets, but if you know you know. Definitely coming back here soon.

Okay... 10 mins waiting on a meatball sub is ridiculous, is this the norm?

Not normal, but it does take twice as long as subway. Worth the wait. Pretend you are in a restaurant.

I heard about the Dutch Sandwich Shop on a social media post and decided to try it myself. I grew…read moreup in Santa Monica and was used to Bay Cities Deli and the Broadway Deli sandwich shops with their Boars Head deli meats. I hadn't been able to find another sandwich shop like those since I moved to Riverside County 5 years ago. Well, I think I've found their replacement! The Dutch Sandwich Shop was amazing! I ordered the Capital! with London Broil Roast Beef and First Cut Pastrami Brisket on Dutch Crunch and all the fixings including Tomato, Lettuce, Cucumber, Pickles, Black Olives, Bell Pepper, Red Onions, Mustard & mayo, Banana peppers and Jalapeno and I also got it "Hella Saucy!" That is their freshly made, homemade, mouthwatering, full of taste & flavor Garlic/Basil based sauce. This sandwich was delicious! I shared it with a friend and she loved it as well! Good job Dutch Sandwich Shop! I'll be stopping by again soon to try all the other sandwiches on the menu! By the way, I also picked up a Pastrami sandwich but haven't tried it yet because I'm still full the from the other sandwich I had for lunch! Great deal too! Only $16.99 and its humongous! Don't spend the same amount of money at Subway and get that cheap, rubber mat additive bread and fake processed meats. Invest in the real deal and get yourself a Dutch Sandwich! You won't regret it!

First off, I don't often write Yelp reviews. Not for every good experience, and not even for bad…read moreones because I figure everyone can have an off day. But this place? Spectacular! This place got me to write a review. [Quick and dirty review: These are the best sandwiches I've ever had. Period.] Benny's was closed midday, so I found myself at Dutch Sandwich Shop near the Temecula mall. I was greeted by Abdul, the owner, who immediately made me feel welcome in his small and cozy shop. I could tell he was genuinely excited to tell me about his sandwiches, walk me through his top recommendations, and share the story behind the business. Being from the Bay Area, he missed Dutch Crunch sandwiches and couldn't find them anywhere in Southern California, so he brought them here himself along with the Bay Area vibe to his shop. What really stood out was the quality. They use Boar's Head meats and quality ingredients from the cheeses to the oil. You can taste the difference. I ordered the Hollywood, and honestly, it was so good that I didn't even want to finish it. Not because I was full, but because I wanted to bring the other half home for my wife to try, which took some serious self-control. The sandwich was incredible, the bread was perfect, and the passion Abdul has for what he's building comes through in every bite. Abdul has created something special here. If you're anywhere near Temecula and love sandwiches, do yourself a favor and stop by.

Tucked away in a small strip mall in Old Town Temecula, this deli was such a great find! I ordered…read morethe kids pepperoni pizza for my daughter, which tasted homemade and was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The Italian sub on a baguette was outstanding -- the bread was perfectly soft and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. I also tried the homemade potato salad, which was light, airy, and had the perfect dill flavor. The service was wonderful, and although the restaurant is small, there was plenty of seating and it felt very welcoming. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area!

Absolutely ridiculous!…read more Ridiculously GOOD! I almost don't want to tell any of you about this spot. I want to keep it a secret so I don't have to battle a crowd. The bread for my sandwich...ugh...you don't even know and can't imagine the perfection it was. I tasted my husband's sandwich and I'm still not sure if his was better or not, they were both SOOOO good. Don't get me started on the chocolate chip cookie. The plan was to break off a bite and give the remaining cookie to my kid after school. That was my wholesome, calorie-conscious thought before that 1st bite. I broke off a piece and you know what...Screw 'dem kids! That cookie was all mine! I can't wait to go back! GiGi, the owner, was awesome, fun, and personable. I love the mom-and-pop shop vibe with an artisan flare. Ohhh...speaking of "artisan", they have more than just sandwiches. I didn't try the pizza, but just looking at the unique topping options, I know it won't be long before I do!

Just as good as I remember!…read more We used to go to the Temecula location until they closed up the shop. Today I went to Murrieta to look in the meat a frozen cases and order two sandwiches. Before I get to reviewing the sandwiches I want to mention the great stuff I saw at the meat counter that I will definitely come back for! They had chorizo, pork breakfast sausage, Hungarian pork sausage, two kinds of brats and more. Nice organic chickens, bone in skin on chicken thighs, and herb marinated half chickens. Their chickens are smaller than what they sell at supermarkets which tell me they are younger and more tender. The steaks....ohhhh the steaks! Wagu, Prime grade, rib-eyes, New York Strips, big shrimps, fish, etc. In the other cold case there was Duck, and other Duck related products, plus so much more I can't remember them all! They are a busy place at lunchtime and I didn't mind waiting. We had a turkey and bacon hot sandwich and a BLT. Outstanding on both! My wife's only suggestion that the turkey needed more chipotle aioli, it was a bit dry.

I was the top guy and worked at the outhouse and the penthouse, meaning I worked in financially stable and unstable departments. With all that said, I saw plenty of problems at this location. Starting off, they are way overpriced. Unless the owners gross profit percentage is 50% or more, should definitely be embarrassed pushing low marbled over priced products. Also, questioning the rotation and shelf life on the product. Quality; putting a first cut, wedge cut that was barely scraped in your counter is embarrassing. Anyone that knows anything about cutting or displaying would walk out, which I did. Displays are amateur at best, no quality or finesse. I would recommend avoiding this place until they learn the business.
