Food is great we have been coming to Rosa's for years and I do love the food. The 1 star is for Michelle who was working the drive thru this morning at 10:35 am. Michelle was the rudest person I have ever encountered here. I asked for a fajita chicken burrito and she rudely spouted out three numbers and I said "Im sorry just a fajita chicken burrito" she was so rude that I wouldn't be surprised if they lose business over this employee. I asked for a second order and she said they only do one order per car, I have never heard of this policy but ok we put it all on one order. I am a nice person I am happy when I order Rosa's because I love the food so much and the tea. Only complaint about the food portion was the tea was super watered down. My new favorite spot! Friendly and fast service! And love that it's family friendly. It's very spacious with seating inside and outside. A salsa bar and a serve your self soda machine. Stopped in for their taco Tuesday deal but they upped the prices. The platter used to be $7 and now it's $10 and kids meals are $5 plus tax. We also ordered fresh corn and flour tortillas and they were $5 for a dozen. Prices have gone up but the food is just as yummy as when I remember going as a kid with my family. It definitely isn't authentic Mexican food and more so Tex Mex but still good. It is always so fun watching them make the tortillas right in front of you. This place was literally right out the door from our hotel, so that was super convenient. They also have a drive thru, which is also nice. I don't think the food was expecially great, but they do give you a lot of food for the price. We had tacos and a burritto, and it tasted not too much better than what you might get a Taco Bell, but they give you a ton of food. This place is like a Taco Bell style Mexican food. When you walk in they have photos of these tostadas which I ordered they look nothing like the pictures. The flavor was decent but I'd honestly choose taco bell over this place. The tamales are almost 4 dollars and they are so skinny like 1/4 of a size of a regular tamale flavor was decent. Very affordable Mexican food and a lively atmosphere! We had a large group and were able to order and get our food quickly. It's a causal order at the counter place with a very large menu, including tons of vegetarian options. They have slushie margaritas on tap and the portions are quite large for low prices. read more

This was a pleasant surprise for us. We have driven by this restaurant many times but never stopped by. We decided to try this restaurant because we were staying close by. We both had the taco plate because it was taco Tuesday. It was delicious! The ambience in the restaurant is very nice, it reminded us of our visits to Mexico. Very colorful and clean. Very rude employees and chicken tasted like glorified cat food. Employee had attitude and very rude tone of voice. Just wanted what we ordered and then accused me of not paying for something. Also touched food against health code or took things off. I felt like I had to show her the receipt but then she checked and fixed the error. Not sure where I should start since it was ultimately a bad experience. First our number was never called despite the rude lady saying it was. My moms food was COLD and when we asked if it could be reheated the lady was so rude about it saying "so what do does she want us to do about it" Um how about offer to reheat it with less attitude maam. I understand if you're having a bad day, but don't take it out on customers. And it wasn't so busy for it to have been such an inconvenience to reheat our food. I've been coming here periodically since I was young and it's still the same great quality, one of my favs. Fantastic place for the family or a quick bite, perfect to see the tortillas being made, the kids love it too. The craft and character has not changed since I was young. They are persistent and serve with a smile. All their employees are great, quick and happy to help. The ambiance is colorful, lively and will transport you straight to Mexico. Don't come here expecting giant tacos and burritos, come here for fresh quality, and you will understand. I've been coming here for years. It's been a family favorite. It's more expensive and the quality and quantity has gone down. We ordered the fajitas, a safe bet, when we got home they barely put any beans and rice. The amount was laughable. And the carne asada was burnt. It really makes you feel like you've been ripped off. I was going to go get my money back and the lady came and gave me new containers full of salsa. Food is so good! Service is unfortunate.... I ordered takeout through the drive-thru window and didn't realize until I got home that one of the items from my order wasn't in the bag. After getting all the way home, I drove back to the restaurant with my receipt to let them know the item wasn't included in the bag. When I arrived, I expected they would simply remake the missing item once they saw the receipt. Instead, I was told that I should have called the restaurant before coming back. The manager was called up to the front and explained that in the future I would need to call ahead if something was missing from my order. I completely understand that restaurants have processes they prefer to follow, but it was frustrating since the item was left out of the order in the first place and I had already taken the time to drive all the way back with the receipt. I wasn't looking for anything extra--just the missing item from the order. Hopefully this is just a communication issue that can be improved moving forward, as it would make the experience much smoother for customers if situations like this could be resolved quickly in person without putting any blame or requests on a customer for a missed item. read more

We usually come up to Temecula about once a month to either pick up wine or do some wine tasting, but we definitely stop by here for lunch. Quick and easy ordering, we like the number two with the three tacos, rice and beans plus the homemade tortillas for about $10. It's always good, always the same quality. The girls put the meals together and then you see your number called and go pick up your food. Easy Peezy. The only thing for me that I wish they'd change is that they would put seasoning in there shredded chicken. It's very bland. But I add a lot of salsa and it's perfect. Highly recommend. read more

Went through the drive through to find 2 cars in front of me. 20 minutes later, I finally make it to the window. Tacos were blah and the rice was undercooked. The tacos are delicious to include sopapillas. The fajitas are also delicious. However, I ate today at Rosa's Café and mixed tomato salad with onions and cilantro were not appetizing.. The tomatoes was the main problem. They definitely were not fresh. They look like they were served from yesterday. I haven't seen fresh tomato salad there, but this one was definitely still looking. absolutely phenomenal traditional mexican food! if you are looking for a sit down, traditional plates, and superior food - this is the place to be. They make all of their tortillas fresh in house, and you can see them making the tortillas through a little window as well which completes the experience. The decor is on point, making you feel transported into a small town in Mexico whilst still in Temecula. The service was also extremely fast, despite the entire restaurant being packed to the brim with people. We waited maybe 3-5 minutes for our food. They call your number and you come pick it up on a tray. They also have a self serve salsa bar which was SO tasty. The flavors were spot on and they have every spice level ranging from 0 spice to extra hot. The spicy pico de gallo was amazing + fresh. I got the cheese enchiladas with rice and green sauce and will be coming back to eat that dish over and over again! They also have a kids menu, with a few options so my daughter had the bean & cheese burrito and scarfed it down within minutes - she is typically a picky eater so this was a win. Overall 10/10, the tortillas are incredible and better than any other Mexican food place I have tried in Southern California and Mexico. Definitely stop by if you are in the area! read more
