A medium dry wine, it tasted like biting into a peanut butter and jelly sandwich--absolutely delicious. We couldn't resist walking away with two bottles of the Retriever Red Apple Blend. With our daughter @morganmmiller being a golden retriever lover, we knew she'd appreciate the bottle just as much as we did. Overall, it was a wonderful experience at this winery. I asked about getting a half order or the "gourmet " cheese tray but the server said they don't offer it because everything is pre-proportioned, which leads me to believe it's from Costco or the like. All in all pretty disappointing. Ww love stopping at wineries but unless friends want to go, ill avoid this one. We have frequented the orchard store for decades but even that has gotten so expensive we have cut back.

The outside area has about 20 greenhouse style buildings set up that sell a variety of items from clothing to homemade pottery. The buildings are each heated and they have several fire pit areas along the paths to stay warm. If you want to eat inside you will need to make reservations in advance. Outside the offer stands with soup, sandwiches and wine. Fun experience and pictures look magical!

I had three of their dry reds and they were all pretty tasty - the Eagles Eryie being my favorite. They have a little store inside where you can buy wine to go and other wine related things. They are also a dog friendly place which was good because I had my pup with me that day!

My husband and I were impressed with the quality and diversity of the regional wines. Dick Ries led our tour and was OUTSTANDING! Informative and engaged and charming! He was knowledgeable across the board and was connected with the staff and operations at each of our stops. We've done lots of wine tastings and tours over the years and I was wondering if I'd learn anything new AND I DID! The packet they provided for the tour was excellent and VERY useful and informative. It was a beautiful day and the wineries were gorgeous and treated us like royalty. It was a treat to be delivered to each location and to just sit back and enjoy the ride. I really can't say enough good things about this thoroughly enjoyable experience! We hope to return to the area to take the Western wineries' tour. Thank you, Rick, for a GREAT afternoon!!
