Unbelievable Service, Amazing Technicians , Best Experience Ever!! I am truly blown away with the quality of service provided by the team members who run this incredible company. My experience, I had a major leak coming into my sons bedroom. The leak appeared to be coming in from the chimney or from the concrete tile shingles surrounding the roof near the fireplace. I had 3 roofing companies come out and charge me an arm and a leg with no benefit whatsoever. During the crazy heavy rains we have been having which have lasted almost 2 weeks straight I called Fireplace Solutions and spoke with Ms. Sahar who is the daughter of the owner of the company. I explained to her my urgency as to stopping the leak into my sons bedroom as it was causing mold and could not wait. Sahar took it on her own to set up an emergency appointment the same day, after hours, AT NO EXTRA COST just to try to stop the leak before the rains started again the next morning. Due to our chimney being over 3 stories high and having zero safe access without installing scaffolding, she had 3 different sets up technicians come out again AT NO EXTRA CHARGE until one was able to find a safe approach to reaching the top of the fireplace so she could have them cover the top with plastic just to ensure that the leak was in fact coming in from the top of the fireplace and not the roof thereby avoiding to have to charge my family for a repair which would not address the problem. Her efforts prevented the leaks and confirmed that the defect was in fact in the chimney and now she has scheduled a new appointment to do the actual work for an extremely fair and reasonable price! I am so grateful to Sahar & Reza for all of their hard work, ethics , honesty and professionalism. I gave only 4 stars because this was actually the second appointment and day off from work that we took for this service to be completed.  The first time, the technician that arrived (do not know his name) did not have the correct work order instructions for what he was supposed to be doing with our chimney damper (not his fault) causing us to have to schedule another appointment because he didn't have the materials he needed.  I will say, this technician was very knowledgeable about our particular type of chimney and notified us that due to structural damage/cracks from the original manufacturing (verified), our fireplace should not be used due to high risk of fire occurring in the breastplate (also verified).  Good to know! Our intention was to redesign the firebox with glass stones and gas but our original damper frame was bent allowing cold air and wind to rush in. That being said, our second appointment went much smoother.  Shalom, the technician (5 stars), arrived on time, was also very knowledgeable, courteous and professional.  He was neat and took the time to show me exactly what he had done.  Now our "decorative" non-operating fireplace is weatherproof! read more

I didn't know about Fireplace Solutions The Chimney Sweeper until I saw their truck parked in our neighborhood. Actually a pretty cool looking truck. But that's besides the point. My chimney's cement around the brick was full of holes and was falling apart and didn't have a cap so it all leaked. I set up an appointment. Their technician that came out in a couple of days and looked all over my chimney and gave me a proposal to fix the outside cement and put on a cap. After that I called another chimney company to get a comparison bid. When they came out they said they'd have to knock down the entire fireplace or they wouldn't do the work. Since we don't use the fireplace at all and since I was looking for only to get it looking nice on the outside and not leak I called Fireplace Solutions. I climbed up before and after and from what I saw they did great work. It doesn't look brand new but it sure looks a lot better than it did before. I recently had my fireplace and chimney cleaned by Don at The Chimney Sweeper. This appliance had never been serviced. It was obvious that a cleaning and inspection were necessary. (Our living room instantly filled with smoke.) I was surprised by the amount of care and preparatory work involved in servicing a fire place. After cleaning and visually inspecting our fireplace, Don explained the reasons why my fire place was smoking were due to a build up of creosote in the smoke chamber and flue system; reducing the flue to fire box ratio. Also, the termination cap was clogged with soot and creosote. After proper cleaning and some basic fire building instructions I have been able to use this fireplace with out worry or issue. Don arrived on time, performed his cleaning and inspection in a time orderly fashion and provided a clear explanation and solution for the problems I was having. read more

My 10 year old wall heater stoped working this cold season and the gas company came out and red tagged it and turned off my gas. I was freezing. Turns out that these wall heaters have flues that need to be cleaned every year or else the heat exchanger will die out (what happened to me) it was a valuable lesson but thank g-d fireplace solutions is Licensed for this work and they replaced my heat exchanger and cleaned my flue (it was filthy) I had the gas company out two days later and they inspected the work that fireplace solutions did and gave me a pass. They took off the red tag and turned on the gas again. It's my fault for neglecting the wall heater but these guys are the right guys for the repairs and maintenance of your wall heater. They will be back out next year to clean it again! read more

Positive experience. I called to get my chimney cleaned and poof they had a person in my area that day so timing worked out great. I was very pleased that Tim took the time to explain everything that was good and bad with my chimney as he did his work. He set up in my living room everything before hand, making sure everything was going to stay clean. He also took pictures and then showed me how the cement on the inside of my chimney was starting to crack and fall apart and needed to be fixed for safety. He was very knowledgeable and came back a week later and fixed all the cracks and said I was ready for a roaring fire! Excellent overall service and caring. The appointment was easy to book online. Their office called me back the next morning and was able to schedule the appointment the following day. Dan came out but the exact appointment time. After he did my chimney sweep, he took the time to explain to me what he saw and that there were a couple items that needed to be fixed before my fireplace would be safe to use. He came back a week later and did the repairs. Throughout the whole time he was very professional and had me laughing a couple times with some pretty funny jokes. Our realtor recommended The Chimney Sweeper to have our fireplace & vents inspected, even if the owner said he had hired a company to evaluate the property and check for these issues. Turns out the vents needed a good cleaning, and our gas fireplace needed adjustments even though everything seemed functional and ok on the outside. I had a very dirty chimney and the back of my fireplace had a few small cracks in it. It was my first time that I ever called a chimney company so I was a little unsure as to what I should expect and what was going to get done. I tested my fireplace last week when getting ready for my upcoming super bowl Sunday party and it ended up smoking up my whole house. Kevin came out and did a cleaning and evaluation for me. It Ended up being my chimney; It was backed up with soot and debris from burning wood for so many years without cleaning it. The smoke had no where else to go but into my house and my lungs. They really know how to do things right and keep the costumers happy. You and your home are their number one priorities and they show it like no other. Saw the great reviews and decided to try them. Now I know why such great reviews. Very professional on time and Jeff who did the cleaning walked me thru everything and did not try to overcharge me at all. He Said I have a hairline crack in my firebox but that he didn't feel it needed repairs at this time and just told me to keep an eye on it. He Also told me I don't have to clean my fireplace every year if I only use it occasionally. Once every other year would be fine. Now that's what I call honesty. Tim and his partner were awesome in knocking out my dryer vent lint. On time, fair price, left the room clean - and we had some good laughs about "dust bunnies".
