Got an american hoagie and a turkey hoagie. The turkey was watery - ugh not sure what brand but ugh! Wish places would steer clear of factory lunchmeat and make their own!! American was ok - typical ham and bologna again ham was probably dietz or hatfield local mass produced ham but ok. Holy blood pressure!! Everything is extremely salty. We ordered Mushrooms and they were served with cocktail sauce. Okay...? A burger and a cheesesteak sandwich. They were barely edible. The service was fine and friendly. The ambiance is very dumpy which is fine IF the food is good but it's not. The bathroom is tiny and gross. None of dispensors had anything in them. We love Nuses!! We love the hoagies and Chicken fingers w/fries. The Turkey clubs are the best I have had so far. Compared to anyone else that makes them. The provolone cheese they have is top notch. Takeout only. Call in your order and they bring it out to your car. Not Sonic or The Red Rabbit, but it works. The girls were all masked properly for those of you who are concerned about that. The Old Fashioned Italian sub was very good. Not as good as DiNunzio's or the Jackson House, but very good. I would definitely get another. Perhaps a little pricey at $9.75, but there was a good amount of.meat and cheese. So I'd recommend one. My boy had the double cheeseburger. Big and juicy although they only cook to medium-well to well done due to frozen patties. The bun looked good, too. He said it was pretty decent for a sub shop burger - until he bit into a toothpick. Now this is a sandwich that came wrapped tight in aluminum foil. And we're eating in the dark in the parking lot. So I called to ask if they usually put pics in and was told that lots of places put toothpicks in their burgers. Maybe this is a regional thing? But seems like a liability to me. And we got a large fry. They suck! Do not order them. They must be the cheapest frozen fries available. And no salt or seasoning. Not crispy. Not limp. Just nasty. Bad. Not edible. Nope. No. Conclusion - I'd stop again. But not get fries. And check all food for foreign objects before eating. read more

I had a large, cheesesteak with American cheese and fried onions, and was pleasantly surprised. It was jam packed with meat, sliced up really small and had a good amount of fried onions. There was a solid amount of cheese, but could have used a little more. The roll was fresh and it arrived warm. Overall, i was delighted with the quality of the steak and how it arrived. BEST cheesesteak I've had in the area. Absolutely LOADED and made to order. Fiance had a burger also which was good. Fries were crisp and tasted great also. The only downside is that it is CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM on site, but if you know ahead of time you can avoid an ATM fee. Food and staff were fantastic, would definitely recommend them if you want a GREAT local cheesesteak! read more

We recently moved to the area and thought we'd try this deli for a pick up order. We ordered cheesesteaks with sauce & fried onions. However, our sandwiches were covered in KETCHUP not the normal marinara sauce that is typically used. This was not indicated anywhere on the menu. I called & spoke to the owner, who refused to offer any assistance. She said, "If you don't like the food, throw it away." We will never go there again & I suggest you don't either. read more

Hubby and I must have driven by this place at least a half a dozen times whenever we're road tripping in the area but we finally stopped for lunch a couple of weekends ago. The weather was really nice that day so we were able to eat outside on the front deck in the warm sunshine so I went inside to order while hubby saved our table (doesn't seem to matter what time of day it is, this place is super popular and for good reason). We decided to get the large Italian Cold cut to share and got a side of onion rings on the side and within 10 minutes of ordering our food was brought out to our table by the super nice young lady who took my order (the entire staff is really nice and make everyone feel like a regular/local). The sub was so stuffed with freshly cut meats and veggies that I could barely close the roll and it was very tasty but the onion rings, WOW, the best hubby and I have ever had and that says a lot considering we're in our 50's. Can't wait till we're back in the area, looking forward to checking out the cheesesteaks. read more

First time eating here and I don't know why we waited so long! We've been seeing a lot of great reviews lately, especially with a lot of businesses being closed right now. We placed a phone order for a couple cheese steaks and fries. Unfortunately, the staff switched my order with another Kelly... I didn't realize until we got home so we didn't bother taking it back. The order we got was 2 cheese steaks plus fries, chicken tenders, and onion rings. Quite the meal! And SO GOOD! I wasn't too worried about it.... Mixed up orders aren't the end of the world. The next morning the owner of Nuse's personally messaged me on Facebook to say she was sorry and she would refund me the entire cost of the meal. I can't thank the staff enough for their genuine kindness during confusing and difficult times. We will definitely be back for more cheese steaks! read more
