Always a super fun place to hit up when I'm back home in California. There's definitely no place like the warm feeling of home. All the warm, friendly and kind business, the excellent food and the kind hospitality from the local businesses Fireside is definitely one of those businesses where you can come enjoy a couple of cold ones and shoot a friendly game of pool.

Ribs, sausage, beans and potato salad... And Blue Moon is a nice beer..

Bithday girl wanted to try the BBQ. And here we are..With my sweetie Decent Q bone pulled away from meat easily..but meat was juicy and flavorful without sauce and andouie and hot link sausage were good as well..The collard greens had sold out before we got there but beans and potato salad were good....We'll be back.. Be advised the lounge is a dive bar that we found drama free. Friendly pool games going on. Although I'm seeing a lot of folks walking in with personal cues. My wife brings bail money just in case..But all went well. We will be back..

Fun little dive bar. Has a covered patio where you can take your drinks and smoke. Not the Ritz but the drinks are cheap.

Oh easily one of the worst bars I've ever been to my life. Unsafe and really no reason to go unless you like getting into fights

Easily the friendliest bar in Palm Springs, which is why the locals like it so much!

The first visit, there was a line to get in and from there, a massive line trying to get a drink at the bar. So come early to avoid that. We just wanted to lounge for a bit and grab a drink after dinner. Showed up just after 8:30 which is still early but very easy when we arrived. There was already a good amount of people inside when we walked in. The nice thing, you're able to walk up to the bar and grab a drink pretty fast. It's cash only so be prepared. Inside isn't that big, where the dj booth is. I don't even think it's a dance floor but it could potentially be. They have two bars on either side. But the patio area is where the party happens. It's massive with a good amount of hi top tables with chairs. Also nice to have the fans and mister going in with the heat that's starting to greet us in the desert. Within us arriving, half an hour or so, the place was pretty busy. The line did start to form at the bar which we now are aware. They have different event held different nights during the week. Some are busier than others. I've been with friends where give or take there was a dozen or so of people. Different night have different crowds depending on the events. Of all the times I've been, it's alway been fun. They should have a bar on the patio which will make a huge difference.

The vibe is super laid-back but still has that classic Palm Springs energy where everyone just seems genuinely happy to be there. It's one of those places where you can show up not knowing what to expect and somehow end up staying way longer than planned. The crowd felt really welcoming, not cliquey at all, which I always appreciate because it makes it easy to relax and actually enjoy yourself. What stood out to me most was how unpretentious everything felt. The bartenders were friendly and quick without making you feel rushed, and the drinks were solid and reasonably priced for the area. There's a nice mix of people, from locals who clearly love the place to visitors just passing through, and it all blends together in a way that feels effortless. The music hit that perfect balance where it keeps the energy up without being overwhelming, so you can still talk and laugh without yelling over it. Overall, this is definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for something a little more low-key but still fun and memorable. It has personality, it doesn't try too hard, and it delivers exactly what you want out of a Palm Springs night. I'd absolutely come back next time I'm in town and honestly wish I had discovered it sooner.

Every wall is covered with unique interesting art- mostly animal theme. It's cooler than a dive bar and with quality food. My friend and I tried the pickle martini I read about in other reviews. Glad I tried it, but probably won't again. Espresso martini was delicious. Wild Boar Sloppy Joe was definitely worth the mess. Service was friendly and courteous. The platypus in the bathroom cracked me up. Highly recommend.

There is a dog friendly patio so we sat out back with our pups and ordered them puppy patties. Service was ok; since we were in the patio and it was a holiday they were super busy so it was understandable that we had to wait quite awhile for things (drinks, check, etc). But they servers all worked together and were nice. They grat parties of 5 an automatic 20%, but it's on the menu so be be mindful of that. The food was not bad. They had a special BBQ menu for the 4th, but didn't have the jalpeno cornbread so we went another direction. We ordered a $5 mimosa and the pretzel bites with BOMB queso and split the smashburger. All were awesome. My friends ordered the chicken sandwich and absolutely RAVED about how good it was!! Overall, this place is awesome and we can't wait to go back and sit at the very lively bar and watch some sports!
