I've walked by this place loads of time but never came inside. Thursday's night and the World Cup was on. We wanted to watch the game before walking the strip during the night market. You would Think that the place would be packed as it's a sports bar and right in the middle of town. Well, it wasn't. They had the game on which was the reason we were coming to. First off, even though it wasn't that busy, they only had one bartender working the place. Bartender and server all in one. He was busy but sweet the whole time. Getting a drink did take a little while as he was trying to maneuver everyone's order. Good thing, the games was on all the television. It did pick up here and there but give or take about 10 people were in the bar. Surprise as it's downtown Palm Springs but wasn't busy. We had 2 pitchers of beer thinking it would probably be a little cheaper than getting a couple of bottles. Well, when the bill came, it was about 80.00 for the bill before tip. A little taken off with it but I guess it is what it is. Honestly didn't think it would be at least 40.00 for a pitcher but damn. Anyways, pricey for the drinks. The place wasn't that busy which we were surprised. And there was only one bartender the whole time we were there for the game. My friends and I went last night for my bachelorette and we had such a great time. The security guard was soooo cool. Now the bartenders were horrible!! I used to be a bartender and the girl was so rude and honestly she sucks at her job if she can't make two drinks at once. The tall white older guy made fun of my cousin for being deaf. Do better! Came here on a Saturday night while we were on vacation. Cover fee was $10 for the night. There were different genres of music going on, edm and hip hop. We didn't try the food, but the cocktails were suuuupet sweet (mainly sugar than alcohol) so we stuck with canned beverages lol. I've been to plenty bars and lounges but this one is a place I won't come back to. People were very aggressive. I went here for the club experience and let me tell you , terrible! First off, the music sounded good , at first, then throughout the night they repeated certain songs multiple times for example "Paranoid" "They Not Like Us" "Get Low" etc. I'm assuming the DJ thinks that if people are drunk they won't notice but if a DJ keeps repeating songs then they're not that good in my opinion, literally so much music out there why repeat? And another major factor the DRINKS ARE TERRIBLE! It's watered down and tastes off. Their COKE doesn't taste good , how do you mess up soda? My first sip of Ginger Ale and Tequila was flat and didn't taste like it had alcohol, I'm not even a big drinker so for me to say that tells you something. I even tried a drink from the outside bar and it was just a disappointment as well, would not recommend. read more

The food and service were great. Excellent pub style food with a Mexican flare. The grilled shrimp tacos were outstanding as was the Mexican pizza appetizer. They are open late which is a plus BUT the DJ starts at 9pm and the crazy bachelorette parties showed up a little after which ruined the ambiance. The place is otherwise what most would call a dive bar (loud, sticky tables, bathrooms dicey) BUT WHO CARES BECAUSE YOU ARE WATCHING YOUR FAVORITE TEAM. I came here for a bachelorette party, and at first, it was amazing...great energy, fun atmosphere, and we were having a great time. Unfortunately, towards the end of the night, the experience took a negative turn. The security guards were very verbally aggressive toward me and my sister, and it was hard not to feel like it was because of the color of our skin, as we were the only Black women at the bar. Horrible !! we were in there sunday, september 7 to watch the football games. They are sorely UNDERstaffed. one person inside and one person outside doing EVERYTHING (orders, drinks, food). Never from the start did they say 'hey bear with us, the ac isnt working.' on top of that on a normal hot palm springs day the AC does not work.. or do they even have it? it took over 60 minutes to get an order of fish and chips without an apology for the delays. This place is basically a club that was just opening for service for the night (from appearances). They have a large staff presence as you enter. We opted to sit on their patio for a late dinner. I ordered the wedge salad and chips & salsa. The wedge salad was really good and the blue cheese dressing was almost borderline Roquefort dressing which was nice. Unfortunately the chips for the chips and salsa tasted stale, like they were left over from, a previous day and just reheated in the deep frier and not even seasoned with a dusting of salt and the salsa was under seasoned. But the server was very friendly, attentive and professional. As the night progressed, it was clear that folks were starting to come in and the live DJ started playing music and turning it up. We're visiting from Austin for a bachelorette & the vibes were immaculate. Drinks were great too, i didn't feel ripped off by the prices for once lol. My party of 4 attempted to have a bite to eat and a drink. We entered into the bar area with caution as there was no Waitress to inform us how seating was arranged. When we walked inside there was 3-4 people working on what looked like limited staffing. The first person to acknowledge us was the table busser. After locating a seat, a waitress with an IPad arrived after 5 minutes to take our order. After we received menus, we waited for 20 minutes with no drinks before attempting to confirm if our order was coming. The bartender had been putting drinks out on the counter for the waitress' to pick up what seemed 1 order at a time. And the bartender seemed distracted with chatting to their customers about the game. The Lions vs Green Bay was playing. The bar seating was completely full. When a new group entered the patio/bar area, our waitress walked up to our table and took the menus without speaking to us about food or the status of our drinks and gave our menus to the new group after we already sat down. After a 30 minute wait we left. Even with the consideration of Palm Springs Pride occurring during the time of a Football game, it was not managed properly. read more

The Village is a lovely dive bar that sits in downtown Palm Springs with incredible late night entertainment. Our trip to the Village included a few apps, cocktails, and a wholleee lot of dancing. Scattered throughout the Village are a variety of bars and dance floors. Each dance floor has a separate DJ allowing for some diversity in music depending on your location. We spent the majority of our trip upstairs dancing to country hits, as well as on the main dance floor downstairs with top 40. The DJs do a great job of getting the crowd going, and there's even an option to submit your photo to be featured on the big screen. read more

I don't understand why this place only has 3 stars on Yelp! It's really good! We went with 2 dogs and were seated at outdoor patio area. Server was very attentive and brought us large dog bowl with water. We ordered steak and eggs, cheese quesadilla with steak and a fries with gravy. Everything tasted great, no complaint at all! Especially with their price! The quesadilla were filled with large cuts of steaks, tortilla were perfectly grilled with some crunchiness at the end. Juicy cheese and steak combination. So yummy! For the 4 entries and 4 drinks we ordered, check came out at $63 without tips. I think they deserve more than 3 star review for sure. read more

I never thought I would actually be disappointed with something like this, but wow. It's actually disheartening for me to write something this review, but I'm sure other people have experienced something similar to what I've gone through this night. Pros- parking in the rear structure with non-Tesla electric parking access. Cons- I guess there really was nothing to prepare them for an event like what my company had today, but this was abysmal and appalling in epic proportions. Restaurant has 2 bars. No staff. Waited at the outside counter for over an hour to get a drink. I actually watched the arms on my watch go though a whole hour until I got asked what I wanted. I just decided to close my tab and leave. Big deal right? I don't think they even called to get help for an event for a Monday night. They didn't even bother to open the second level area- but also, what for? - they were not prepared. I've attended events with pop up bars with even rowdier testosterone driven crowds, but this one falls way short of anything I've encountered. The group will likely be back on day 2 after the event ends but, if they're not prepared like what I experienced on Monday, you can take your business somewhere else. It's probably not going to make a dent for them, because it's so conveniently accessible to the community, but I hate to see the patrons of the restaurant experience such a wait and inconvenience to what could potentially be a good night. I really try to advocate for any establishment that tries to make an effort to actually be a good place, but I can say nothing about this experience that shows they're even trying. If you're looking at this and you're coming from the convention, I could suggest the Palm Canyon Roadhouse instead. Which is just a little drive from the downtown strip. It's all indoors, with little outdoor space, but there are tons of parking in the back and lots of indoor room. They pay trendy music and the kitchen is also open all night- until they close. read more

After walking the strip in 109 degree weather all I wanted was a cold place and a cold beer. We were seated fast. Got a nice table by the bar. The seats are a little screechy and feel like might give way at any second. The seating is bunched together in one corner. The service took a while and a bit chaotic at times. Once it calmed down the service got better. Tried their dry rub Diablo wings and they were crazy hot but very tasty. Not for the faint of heart. My child loved their Mac n cheese.
