New owners, new menu same funky fun vibe as last year. Big focus on taking care of customers. Giant drink menu including bottomless mimosas or champagne. How could this go south? Depends on how far the walk to the hotel is. Limited menu, in a good way. Plenty of selection just not crazy options that a kitchen can't deliver on. Check out the menu pics to see all you can enjoy. Chips and salsa, nachos and pot stickers was just a start. Sliders, optional onion rings and grown up grilled cheese. (Brie, cheddar, grilled jalapeños) some very good choices at the Village. Wanting to watch a game or two or sixteen, this is the place. TVs everywhere. Right in downtown, next to everything. Drop by and stay a while. Oh and dog friendly. Our server brought a water bowl for the dog and then asked what we wanted. Doesn't get better than that! Enjoy

W.O.W. 0/10 - called multiple customers a B*tch! 0/10 - couldn't keep track of who was waiting first, skipped over many customers who had been waiting 0/10 - killed the entire vibe, didn't want to order from this bartender. Dear Mr. Keefe, How do you thrive off your staff that disrespects your customers? He had NO VALID reason to go off on them and to call them a B*tch in front of other customers. How do you condone this behavior? It wasn't their fault for his incompetence to keep up with his customers and who was there first.

While the first two points are still valid, the food has gone downhill in a big way. It's now $27 for the pu pu platter and it tastes like they bought everything from Costco. Cheap quality frozen garbage. My "beef skewer" looked like a stray flap of rubber from a discarded tire. The chicken was a fat, ugly blob. Coconut shrimp is clearly of the frozen variety. Same for the egg roll. Look, I get it, some foods just come frozen. But this place also has a kitchen, this is a signature appetizer, and there's no reason you can make this stuff fresh, on hand, on the day. I'm fed up with places that raise prices and lower quality and the only way they listen is by doing this.

Anyway, we made it for dinner Saturday night. When we arrived, the patio seating was pretty much open as everyone wanted inside seating with the heat going on. They do have the mister on full blast if you wanted to be outside which people did utilized it half an hour after we arrived. There's a couple of hi top tables and seating at the bar area but main seating is the kitchen counter. It's like the chefs table. You're literally watching them cook and interacting with them. I love it there. The service is alway great and the staff are always amazing and friendly. It's like family getting together when we walk in. Of course you have the two brothers Ruben and Ozzys taking good care of everyone. The main counter where we like seats about 10 or so people and it all looks into the kitchen. Love that we can interact with the chefs while dining. But everyone comes for the main thing, the amazing seafood dishes. Would you get seafood in the desert. This place I say yes. Everytime we've been here which has been years, the meal has alway been excellent. And this time was another great experience. We have our regular that we alway go with for starters. The mussels in white wine sauce is definitely a must. Big meaty green mussels with a delicious white wine broth and of course you have to have the garlic bread for dipping. We didn't get any other starters but I do recommend the poke stack, both fresh oyster and grilled. Ahi is excellent with the dipping sauce and if you don't want seafood as a starter, the lamb chops are quite nice. They also have a good selection with their wine list and mixed drinks. I believe it's a full bar as well. Entrees, my favorite is the Ruben specials. Shrimp, crab, scallop, mussels and clams with garlic, basil, tomatoes, green onions in a white wine sauce with linguine. So so good and flavorful. Ozzy special is another favorite but we didn't get it this time. Also it was a first time getting the crab enchiladas. Let me say, it was delicious. 2 hand rolled corn tortillas stuffed with crab meat and cheese with creamy verde sauce and cheese. That's served with rice. Simple dish but so delicious and flavorful. The meal was delicious as always and the company was excellent. Everyone here is the best and the sweetest and friendliest. The locals love it here as they tend to know everyone that walks in. It's a must when you're in Palm Springs. Can't wait till they return around Labor Day which we will be back for another meal. Highly recommend.

Television are also inside if you wanted to watch the game of some sort, and there's ac. I could be wrong but I think there's a back patio as well. I've never been but it somewhat looks like it while waiting at the counter to order. The bartender is alway very sweet. It's normally the gal working everytime we've been. Very friendly and knows everyone. Seem like this place has their regulars. The restrooms are located in the back. It's a decent bar, neighbors bar along the main strips. Feel like it tends to be regulars. Decent size patio out front that's great for people watching. I think you could also have food as someone had delivery drop off some yesterday.

A fairly good amount of people occupying the bar area but all the hi top tables were being utilized. We did get some seats at the bar which was available. Brad, I believe that was his name was the bartender on deck taking care of everyone. Let me say, he was amazing. It's like you're hanging out with a life long friend even though we just meet. It was nice to just have a seat to beat the heat with a nice cold one. Just the friendliest soul. Oh what I didn't know, they had happy hour from 3-5 everyday. But did notice a lot of food on peoples table. I guess they're all there for HH. From the looks on people's plate and all the items being brought out, it was worth it. I did end up getting something to snack on even though we just came from brunch. Couldn't beat the price. They had a couple munchies for 5.00. Chips and salsas, large fries (which looked massive) and street tacos (not sure how many come in an order. And the snacks items for 10.00. Birdie fingers which I did get ( chicken strip) and was delicious. Nice big pieces of boneless chicken with different spice level to choose from and served with coleslaw and dipping sauce. I do recommend this item. Also the nachos and wings were offered. Food was quite nice and well worth the price. Besides HH, I think it's served throughout the day as well. The crowd was more chill today. Everyone was inside as it was pretty hot outside. Service was amazing. Brad was a major doll and the sweetest. All the staff were dolls.
