Wow, this place! Stunning and cozy interior. Natural meets metal. Fireplace. Could sit there for hours and be happy. The servers were knowledgeable and prompt. Nice selection and well marked for allergies. I could have ordered so much and been happy with my choices!

Delicious isn't even the world i'd describe the food it's phenomenal, So much detail in the flavor and presentation. The service was also great the servers are super friendly and answer any questions & check in. The ambience is super cozy and open although when full it can feel a bit crowded but nothing suffocating- Its very fast paced when busy too which I enjoy. All together this is the perfect spot for a quick bite or a date night. Definitely will be dining again!

My friend and I visited here to kill a few hours before our flight. We had a bunch of different food and enjoyed everything. Only negatives: Our server was kinda MIA for most of our visit. We weren't really sure who she was to even flag her down when we needed her. Our food took a long time to arrive. Everything except the mac and cheese. It didn't seem too busy for it to be taking so long but everything was still good and a pleasant experience. Perfect place to chill and enjoy some drinks/snacks with some friends!

Such a cozy spot! I love this place and the atmosphere is amazing. Service is very quick and everything we ordered was delicious. The proportions are a good size and I recommend ordering a couple things to share.

Ambiance: 7.5/10 nice open air spot right on a popular street in PDX. Good for a chill first date on a nice night where they have the windows open. Service: 9/10 Trinity was awesome. She was easy to talk with, and happens to be a super talented musician @trinityjane on Spotify. She should get a raise. Food: 6.5/10 Half chicken: I appreciated the use of in season veggies (ie snap peas) but this dish didn't wow me. I thought the chicken was well seasoned and moist . I thought the green sauce and pickled onions went well with the chard broccolini but I probably would try a different dish next time.

A nice place to go for a quick happy hour and chill. We ordered a few things to share and had a couple of drinks as well. Their sliders and fries were a must order. The Brussel sprouts portion was generous. I did enjoy their whiskey sour and expresso martini.

Came here on a Thursday for a friend's birthday dinner. She had a reservation so we were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and attentive and was patient with us as we waited for all of our party to arrive and to order. The vibe of the place is cozy with fireplaces, lighting, and the intentional bar and dining room seating arrangements. There was also coveted outdoor seating on the side perfect for summer. It was a beautiful sunny day so there were a good amount of people coming in and out. We got drinks and most of their appetizers to share among our group. My favorite was the crispy Brussels sprouts and the crab cakes. The bread was a little more charred than preferred the olive butter was tasty. The steak kebob and Mac and cheese (not pictured) were nice and filling as well. I did not see much of a dessert menu but maybe we had to ask but Papa Haydn is just a block down so we went there after instead. I could see this spot as a great date or friend catch up place with its variety of drinks and food for a relaxing and yummy dining experience.

So cozy! The atmosphere is so charming. We sat at the bar and ordered cocktails. My friend had the Mac n cheese and we ordered the charcuterie board. Everything was delicious. The drinks were so well made and the mulled cider was the perfect warm drink for a chilly fall evening. Grateful how attentive the bartenders were. If I lived in Portland, I would be here often.

The atmosphere is really beautiful, the warm Fire, deep wood colors and leather bar stools make it a very appealing spot. I'm here at happy hour and getting the Brussels sprouts and a cider. All is well in this moment. Thanks for reading.

Semi-upscale restaurant with nice modern yet cozy decor and a real fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. I had the lavender ginger soda which was nice and refreshing. The clam buccatini is pretty good, the sauce is buttery and garlicky and there is a fiat amount of clam on top. Some of the clam taste less fresh than I would like. The service was good and food came in a reasonable time.

Overall, pretty good breakfast experience. There were some things that were really good and other things that were just average. The steak and eggs was cooked perfectly and not overdone. Definitely something worth trying. The basic breakfast of the eggs and potatoes was just your average eggs and potatoes. Though it is kind of hard to mess up eggs and potatoes. The Dutch pancake was really good. Service was a bit on the slow side so don't go if you are in a time crunch. Also, I think they make their bloody Mary mix homemade possibly if you were looking for that traditional morning bloody Mary this one is a bit different. I could not put an exact reason why it was different but it is not your traditional bloody Mary mix. Try it if you're looking for something new.

The food is excellent and the atmosphere is beautiful outside. Unfortunately the food took way too long and the menu is limited but the portion sizes are great. We were the only table at the beginning and it wasn't that busy and we didn't get checked on once the food was dropped. We also had to get up from the table to pay because the server never came back.

Perfect for a dog date from start to finish. Easy to reserve a patio spot on Tock. The hostess saw me outside and came to greet me so I didn't have to worry about trying to check in inside with my pup. They brought out a special dog bowl and dog menu in addition to their human menu. Bella's eggs and chicken came out hot and fresh. We both enjoyed the outdoor heaters and weren't cold even though it was 38 degrees outside. Staff were friendly and kind which Bella loved. All my food items and the espresso martini were delicious. Bella and I will definitely be back!

This is an area with a lot of competition, so they mostly rise to the occasion. The space itself is modern and clean. The most unique feature is the two salt pillars in the bar area. I was told that I could lick them during/after certain drinks, but elected to pass on that unique invitation. Maybe next time? I ordered the two taco special that came with a fresh beer on tap. The beer was good (as expected) and the taco portion was adequate. However, the food came out at room temperature, so I recommend that the cooks work to find ways to deliver the food items in a way that preserves the temperature prior to having it served. It's possible that this was a one off, but it took away from the experience a bit for me. Parking is an ongoing challenge since it's NW Portland and very few businesses have their own dedicated lot. The drink menu was appealing and their liquor options were impressive. I definitely plan to try again and see if my food experience is a bit more elevated on a second stop. Hopefully I won't be solo next time!

Momoyama definitely delivers in the flavor department. What I was struck by was not just the freshness of the fish, nor the expert cuts...but the diversity of flavors. Perfect example - the King salmon with truffle knocked my socks off. I am not really a fan of salmon. I find its raw texture to often be a little soft to my taste and the funk of the omega 3s in quality salmon is just... not my bag. The truffle completely transformed the experience for me. I was not prepared for how well the earthy notes of the truffle complimented the King salmon. It made the sushi something to be savored without any of the traditional off-putting (to me) fishy funkiness. Highly recommended. Similarly, the octopus Sunomono was perfectly prepared. Often, octopus can be chewy. Not in this case. Additionally, the sauces and the salad greens complimented the dish and elevated it from traditional "sushi tastes." The bracing acidity made me want to eat more and was a delightful preamble for the rest of the meal. Service was prompt, friendly, and accommodating.
