    Tiramisu

Came as a party of seven on a Friday evening. Our server was great! Food was okay, something we all kind of agreed on is in general it needed a bit more seasoning. Kind of odd for an Italian restaurant, but like I said it was good. They also over cooked the seafood, it was very rubbery. Everyone had cocktails and wine, they were great! Desserts were a highlight; tiramisus and cannolis. This was a solid experience and service was what we expected.

The ambience of this spot was phenomenal, right next to the waterfront. The service was also great, and they always checked in on us to see if there was anything else we needed. I didn't love the bread service, found the bread to be a bit dry, however the lasagna and the pasta were good and had rich ingredients. This place is more fine dining, so more on the expensive side. Overall, for the experience I highly recommend this spot.

We ate dinner here. Only a short walk along the river from the Kimpton where we were staying. We asked for an outdoor table and were seated at a table along the windows of the restaurant. Loved it so we could people and dog watch as we enjoyed a lovely evening. We started with the Caprese salad and bread with olives. Everything was so good. Caprese had a nice olive oil and balsamic vinegar topping. Fresh ingredients. For my entree, I chose the butternut squash ravioli. Nice and light with parm and no heavy sauces. Very good. Service was excellent. Loved the outdoor seating. Great choice for dinner.

food: 5/5 service: 5/5 ambiance: 5/5 walked in with no reservation at around 5pm and we were the only one in the restaurant so i did feel a bit intimidated and a lil awkward at all. the staff was friendly and helpful in helping us pick what to order as we took a but to decide. got sat next to window but for some reason there were quite a few fruit flies around the window. for drinks we got: 1 agrumi 1 passione one was a cocktail and the other one a mocktail but i cant remeber which name is for which but both were good especially the non alc one. food: We ended up ordering the bruschetta ($14) for appetizer- it was really good! the tomato was fresh, i legit had to get every bits of the balsamic crema on the plate. Sweet Italian Ragu $28- my bf order so got to take a bite off and it was yum tomato pasta. Tartufo with shrimps $30+ $9 wow was my first word after i took the first bite of this pasta. the truffle profile was strong and it did not get over power by the creaminess i did not get tired of eating this like after each bite i keep wanting to take another. Desserts: 1 tiramisu $12- good but not memorable 1 chocolate mascrapone $11- it tasted like a chocolate moose? i did enjoy eating this but I probably would not order it again tho it is obvious that theyre on the pricier side, so will not be a bank for your buck type of spot. portion is small too but i think it be a nice spot for date night but given the price point its a spot that its nice to go for special occasion. anyways not a big deal but i did not know about the automatic service charge until we looked at the receipt that we were not aware of in addition of the tips we added for them. location of this restaurant isnt that accurate on map it lead us to some closed down restaurant had to walk around for a bit before finding the actual restaurant. i would come back just for the truffle pasta!!!!!

Why you should dine here: Willamette waterfront view off the marina boardwalk is an absolute chillax time and one of the best outdoor dining spots in PDX. The service is always the most professional & top notch! The host is always partnering with the wait staff in steady attentiveness. Each of them with the right personality. The food ~ delish! Pasta is all dente perfect, wine suggestions right on, portions are great, etcetera. Enjoyed every time. Parking garage nearby or street parking on the south end of the boardwalk. A nice stroll along the marina before and after dinner.

Came for Valentines Day and unfortunately this restaurant just missed the mark completely for me. $8 bread service was just not that great, honestly kind of tasted old, but we did still finish it off with the pasta. We got the bolognese and the shrimp pasta, honestly the bolognese was bad, boyfriend didn't even finish it. We did take it home but it sat on the counter because nobody was interested. The shrimp al bianco was alright, it had plenty of shrimp so they didn't skimp on it, but also it's a $32 plate so that's what I would expect. The service was fine, no issues there. Of course it's a romantic vibe in here, it really reminded me of going to a winery. For the price point I would advise against coming and just going elsewhere. Nothing was special or mindblowing for $30 for a pasta dish, honestly. I've had much better food for cheaper / more expensive. I don't believe price ever dictates quality, and this place certainly does not. Nothing was absolutely terrible, but when you're spending $70 on just 3 dishes (including the bread) and it isn't tasting that amazing, it's just disappointing. There's just definitely much better food out there, especially in Portland. Also a quick sidenote about how to get here, honestly we were looking for it for about 10 minutes driving around in circles before realizing it is inside of the hotel in the area. So just know you have to park somewhere, walk down to the hotel main lobby, go insude, go down the stairs and then it leads to outside. From there you just take a right and there's numerous stores & this restaurant is towards the end.

While traveling home on vacation to our home in Eugene, we spent a day and night in Portland. On the recommendation of some friends who live in Portland, we tried Il Terrazzo. Excellent choice! We typically split, not to save money, but because most servings are simply too large and we would rather leave comfortable than massively stuffed. We paired a split Caesar Salad and Boscaiola with a couple of glasses of a local Cabernet Sauvignon. Everything was excellent! And... no split charge. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The location is right on the Portland Waterfront and within walking distance of our hotel. A win-win all around. Definitely will recommend.

Cozy restaurant right by the waterfront! They serve delicious pasta with an awesome view. It's wise to make a reservation due to limited seating! BURRATA Creamy burrata cheese served with arugula, tomato, and balsamic. This dish didn't win me over; I felt like it was missing something... TRADITIONAL BOLOGNESE Slow-cooked meat ragu simmered for 6 hours and served with fresh tagliatelle pasta! I had to try this classic dish, and it didn't disappoint. Its simplicity and bold flavors were delightful. The sauce had a great balance of acidity, though a tad oily. ZAFFERANO Penne bathed in a creamy sauce infused with the rich flavor of saffron. The saffron adds a floral note that elevates the dish in a sophisticated manner. I really enjoyed this pasta--trying it was a treat, especially since saffron is so boujeeeee. However, I probably wouldn't order it again. My husband didn't like the prominent saffron flavor. TIRAMISU No Italian date night is complete without tiramisu, and Il Terazzo's version is a winner. Layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers nestled in velvety mascarpone cream strike the perfect balance between sweet and creamy. This dessert is indulgent yet light, leaving you wanting just one more bite! We can't stop craving it. Pretty large for a dessert - perfect for splitting with your favorite person. I will be back just for this! DRANKSSS French 75 - gin, lemon syrup, bubbs. This one was exceptionally good. One of the best 75s I've ever had

    Burro di Salvia

This was a last minute decision since we were down by the marina and it was very nice. We were seated in the bar, which was cozy and had a nice view out over the river. D'Layne was our server and she was so helpful. She'd actually tried most of the menu and so could give us good advice, which we needed since most of the dishes were unfamiliar. We started with the soup of the day and the Caesar salad. Both were good but the soup - tomato bisque - was rich and creamy and perfect for a cold wet winter night. The fresh mint popped and set it apart from the usual bisque. We then had the Boscaiola and the Burro Di Salvia. The Boscaiola was rich and creamy with sausage and mushrooms. The Burro was delicious and light - a sweet potato ravioli with sage. We finished with the cannoli. My favorite was the rum raisin. This is a great option on the waterfront.

Yes I love a Willamette Valley Pinot or a Washington Cabernet, but I get a lot of those when I'm visiting these areas, which I do frequently. At Muse you can enjoy a red from France, Spain, Italy, as well as local. Lots of whites and some bubbles, too. You can do a tasting of three half glass pours of your choice, or order a glass. Some nights they have tastings that they have preselected. Last night, based on Alex's recommendation, after telling him my preferences, I had the 2021 Crozes-Hermitage from Paris. It was a bigger red, but so smooth. Next I went with the Rioja Gran Reserva which was more fruit forward. Another winner. Their cheese and jam plates are fabulous, the cheese especially delicious, and pair perfectly with the wines. Have a feeling I'll be back frequently to this charming neighborhood wine since my friend works out next door, so it's a perfect meeting spot.
