Called to set an appointment on Friday and my car was supposed to be serviced on Saturday at 1200. Dropped my car off at 1000 to see if it could be serviced early. After 1400 hit I called and they said the car was about to go in the lift to START the service, it should take only a hour and a half is what they said. It's now 1630 and my car is done, I'm not upset that they couldn't look at it early but more upset that they had no concern or regard as to the service taking four and half hours to get accomplished. I look in the shop and there's employees just standing around and talking, there's no concern for time for the customers. I would avoid this place at ALL COST if you are looking for an ordinary service such as an oil change. read more

This for the Firestone, West Street, Annapolis. I was visiting in town and late in the afternoon one of my warning lights went on - last time I ignored it, it was a big mistake. I had to find someplace and found Firestone, I knew the company and stopped in, worried about whether they could help. They were still open and Adrian, the Service Manager, scheduled me for that evening; he is polite, professional and knowledgeable. Of course there were other customers to be served before me, I was just happy to get the issue fixed. When they checked my car, they determined I did NOT have the serious issue I had thought. Stopped here to have a leaky tire checked to see if reparable. The manager I spoke to as well as all the technician were kind and friendly. They seemed to be having a good time at work which is always a good sign to me of people who will do a job well. They tested my tire and found the leak, offered me a replacement without being pushy at all, told me to think about it, and topped up the air in my donut. Extremely efficient, kind, they seemed like they cared about making sure my donut was safe and I would be ok. Means the world as a younger woman walking into a mechanic. 10/10 read more

Boyfriend needed new break pads on his 2014 Chevy Silverado. They said we could bring it in and it would take 2-3 hours to work on. I dropped it off for him. 3 hours later I called to check status and they said it would still be another hour or two which was fine. My bf called a bit later and told him it was ready. I went to pick up the truck and the paperwork isn't clear. I asked what they did and they said they only did front breaks which is what he wanted. However on the checklist it says only left rear break pads were done. My bf called them when I got home and immediately the lady on the phone had an attitude when my bf said they didn't do the right thing. The paperwork says front pads were done and he was charged for front pads but the front pads were not done. The truck sounded just as bad when we got it back and has just gotten worse. We took it to pep boys down the street and they called saying it was going to cost $1100 and that firestones did not do what they were supposed to so now everything has to be re-done. This is completely unacceptable and will never be using them again. We will consider a small claims suit as well because of this. read more

Well this was a pleasant surprise. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, on time and reasonably priced. The waiting room was pretty clean and had some amenities like phone chargers. Only small hitch was that I booked online and the night before, got a call that they were double booked and I had to reschedule. This shop, especially Christina, has pulled my fanny out of the fire a couple of times. Today I had a flat. Bought the tires on the car at this shop last year. So I stopped by with the wheel/flat and asked if they could put on a new one. I said I'd leave the wheel. I could get around on the temp donut for awhile. Christina said I could leave the tire, but they are booked and they couldn't get to it until Friday. That was fine, again as I'm retired and don't really need to drive around more than the donut can handle. 2 hours later, Christina called and said it was ready. She was able to squeeze it in. I'm not a regular customer there, I've only done business when I have an emergency, and Christina is a pro who delivers top notch service. The guys in the shop squeezed me in. I noticed a screw in one my tires and called to see if they could check and repair if necessary. Matthew answered and was up upfront that it could be looked at and what time to expect the car to be done. I brought it right in, did an easy check-in for not being a regular and was on my way in 5 minutes. I was expecting a slow service on a Sunday morning but the place was busy and the lot full. I got a call a few hours later - but before I was expecting it - to say the car was done and all tires were good to go. My car has been at this location since Monday, December 21st. There has been little to no communication or updates from the advisor, Becca. All if not most of the communication has been initiated by me. She was supposed to call me today with a status update and I did not receive a phone call at all. I am highly disappointed and inconvenienced after not having access to my car for almost one week. I have contacted Firestone customer service and filed a complaint at this point. I have had nothing but amazing experiences with my car here. When it's time for the recommended services, if my car didn't need it...they just informed me that it can be done later. They have never tried to sell me things that my car didn't need, even though I'm sure they have a quota to make. I've always been kept in the loop of what's going on and they have delivered excellence each time. Finally, the person who makes all this happen is Nick. Without question, he portrays the definition of excellence, superior customer service and is the reason why I continue to bring my car there. I ordered one new tire to be delivered and figured I'd get it replaced on site. After two hours, they pull my sedan out and the mechanic says he couldn't get the spare back into its holding. Cool, no problem. I paid for the service and not more than half a mile my car displayed all tires pressure - 37, 37, 37 and the new one was 44 (recommended is 40). Another problem but not serious, it's a tire shop and they should at least do that. I pull over to level the pressure, and the valve on the new tire isn't there. I'm not one to complain but that was ridiculous, these are all issues that should have not occurred and been dealt with at the shop. I returned the next day to get my air pressure valve and express some concern. They found it and tried to send me away. I asked for some type of discount or something to repay all of this unnecessary time, and the head "mechanic" offered a half price oil change, with no coupon, but only "when he's there." Scam Alert! Took my car in for breaks because they had a 50 coupon. Told me I needed all 4 routers replaced and it would cost $880. It was a complete lie. Brake Doctor came out and said only 1 router was bad (although they recommend changing in pairs) and that just the front brakes needed replacement. Total was $350. read more

Called them at 11:30 asking if they could repair a tire that was leaking air. Sure, they said it to take about 1.5 hours. Took car in at 11:39 and went for a leisurely lunch. Called at 1:23, it'll be half hour more. Returned to Firestone after 45 minutes they say they can't fix the tire. We have to buy a new one. $280. Finally finished at 3:24. Every so often they would say half hour more. I wish they were honest. They obviously didn't look at the tire for a couple of hours. Terrible experience I had brake work done and within a week my light came on saying I needed brake work and the Manager Tamara Staab was very rude when I came in. It's bad enough I had to come back after the job was completed and then she had the audacity to be rude as soon as pulled there was already no parking and she didn't even wait until I got out my car for her to say something and she was very rude about. I've come here a number of times for work on my car: tires, oil change, and a couple other things. Usually they are good about timeliness, but this most recent go around I had an appointment for a simple oil change for 4:30, I was running a few minutes late and called to let them know, no problem. I sat for 50 minutes before my car was ever touched--I schedule an appointment for a reason, so I didn't have to wait and play the guessing game for when my car would get worked on. If you're behind because of some other work being done, that's fine...but say something so I'm not stuck waiting when I had an appointment. Granted 50 minutes isn't as bad as some of the other reviews I've read, but I'm surprised and frustrated given the great service I usually get here. read more

I really have a hard time giving a place that I shelled out major $$$$ for surprise auto repairs to a great rating, so keep that in perspective as you read my review. My car needed all new tires like YESTERDAY and it's a wonder at least one of my tires didn't skid off my car during my crazy commute. I mean, it was ripped open for crying out loud. I knew that I was being super risky driving around in my car after I found out a day ago I needed to get my tire replaced, so I frantically made the drive over here around 4:30PM on Friday. Once they looked at my car, they reassured me that they would be able to take care of the replacements right then and there and check my alignment for free. I ended up having to get my car realigned as well.... yayyyy!! No. So all of this has been a very Merry Christmas set of prezzies to my spoiled rotten car! I dropped off vehicle to have a complete vehicle inspection and the mechanic and Tech failed within the 4 corners of agreement on inspection. In short afterwards I left with still needing work. Coolant good they said, it was brown, power steering level was good but dark unlike the red color of fluid this was almost gray.on a high mileage vehicle. They will time and mileage struts but not fluids. I extremely recommend a better shop. I depended on them to give proper estimate, they failed . Almost 4K spent and was told this will make vehicle in like new condition. To my dismay , estimate should have been higher. No fairness in quality inspection and overlooked lighting out in rear with bad and dangerous brake hoses in rear. But they sold one on the front. Missed the rear hoses and exhaust problem. Now another shop will do my maintenance needs from here on. Tires and alignment, great there but go somewhere else if you need a safety inspection.As a former ASE master tech. I came in for a minor oil leak and even tough they where very busy I was greeted with a smile. Tamaka ( I think) said she would find a way to fit me in. They looked over the car and found the leak. They also noticed a tire issue that needed to be addressed. I scheduled an appointment for another day to receive that service. When I came back Same great greeting and they took my car right back! Fixed the leak and the replaced the tires. She told me about this cool lifetime aliment and even let me know about financing options! After calling 10 different stores, no one had one in shop, they needed to be ordered and would take days if not a week. Audrey at the front desk was SLAMMED on a Sunday and she not only got me the tire, she rushed and put me ahead of everyone else so we could make our realty appt (we came in from out of town to look for houses). I'm really happy with my experiences with Firestone. I recently had a screw in my tire. I walked in with no appointment and they were able to work on my tire within 15 minutes. They took the screw out, and saved my tired. Luckily for me there wasn't any damage to the tire. Firestone didn't charge me anything for taking the screw out. They were extremely friendly and so nice to me, which was nice because I was upset about my tire. I was there for about an hour. The first time I went there was a couple of years ago. I called 4 different service centers to compare pricing prior to taking my car to Firestone for tire replacement. The price quoted to me by a man when I first called was completely different from the final invoice. I showed the price quote to Liza/front desk and explained her the decision factors when I decided to take my car to them. She said the store manager Nick will contact me the next business day. I waited for Nick to call me, I decided to call at 4:30PM. Nick the manager sounded rude when they were the one who screwed up and ripped me off. I could have taken my vehicle to the dealer because Firestone tried to charge me extra on road hazard companion when it was originally included in the quote. I was a frustrated customer who walked out happy - my frustration was not at the customer service I had received but at a product I did not feel lived up to its warranty. The staff there, while we disagreed on the reasoning for the issue, replaced it at their cost because they wanted to provide excellent customer service. I appreciated all they did for me and think they were fair in their actions while still exceeding my expectations - I mean they got out a book, while completing the repair, to show me wear patterns because they wanted to take the time... I must also add this was during my lunch hour so I was in a hurry but their staff, especially Ramona, kept calm and always asked if I had time to do something before starting. The most professional auto center I have been to ever. Ramona is an outstanding employee everytime I have been here she is always very helpful and honest when it comes to what needs to be fixed and how long it will take to work on your vehicle. Since I got an account with Firestone a few years ago, they charge me around 20 dollars for oil changes. So much cheaper than going to Jiffy Lube, which cost me 50 bucks and I know I won't be hassled by Techs trying to upsell me on unnecessary things that don't need to be fixed for a while. If Firestone does a check up, they will just tell you what they found and they won't pressure you to get it fixed right away. Note: you should make an appointment to have any work done here, I am sure it makes it easier for them, plus they get a lot of walk-in traffic. Weekends are very busy usually, but its ok they have a TV if you want to wait! read more
